ASSAULTS

EDSALL RD., 5700 block, 7:50 to 7:57 p.m. May 31. A man asked a male pedestrian, 37, for money. When the pedestrian said he had none, the man hit him on the head with a belt buckle, cutting him.

MOUNT VERNON AVE., 4100 block, 7:50 to 7:56 p.m. May 29. Two men chased a man and assaulted him. The injured man was taken to a hospital. Two men, 22 and 19, were arrested and charged with felonious assault.

ROBBERIES

BRADDOCK RD. E., 400 block, 9:18 to 9:22 p.m. May 30. A man in a store hid beer in his pants. A store manager confronted the man, who pulled out a gun and left.

BRADDOCK RD. W., 4800 block, 11:30 to 11:35 p.m. May 27. Two men robbed a pizza deliveryman, 44, of cash at gunpoint.

PITT ST. N., 400 block, 9:30 p.m. June 2. A man entered a restaurant, waved a handgun and demanded money. An employee opened a cash register, and the robber fled with cash.

WHITING ST. S., 300 block, 2:15 to 2:23 a.m. May 26. A gunman robbed a man, 19, of cash.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BASHFORD LANE, 800 block, 10:53 p.m. May 28. Cash was stolen from a business.

MADISON ST., 1200 block, 4 to 8:30 p.m. May 26. A gun was stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked door.

WASHINGTON ST. N., 100 block, 10 p.m. May 25 to 9:05 a.m. May 26. Cash was stolen from a business entered by forcing open a door panel.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

FRANKLIN ST., 300 block, 1:30 to 2 p.m. June 1. A gray 1989 Ford Econoline E350 van was stolen.

KENMORE AVE., 4700 block, 4 to 4:15 a.m. May 30. A silver 1999 Ford Mustang was stolen.

MONROE AVE. E., 1-100 block, 8:15 p.m. May 31 to 11 a.m. June 1. A gray 1989 Buick LeSabre was stolen.

SEMINARY RD., 5000 block, 11 p.m. May 25 to 7:30 p.m. May 28. A silver 1997 Ford Escort was stolen.

WYNDHAM CIR., 3300 block, 5 p.m. May 29 to 7:45 p.m. June 1. A black 2000 Pontiac Grand Am was stolen.

ROBBERIES

JEFFERSON ST. S., 1100 block, 5:20 p.m. May 31. A man grabbed a purse from a female pedestrian, 23, and fled.

JEFFERSON DAVIS HWY. S., 2000 block, 10:44 p.m. May 29. A female, 23, met with a male in her hotel room when another male knocked on the door, falsely claiming to be a police officer. The impostor ordered the woman into the bathroom, then took cash and left with the other male. The woman and acquaintances got into a vehicle and followed the males in another vehicle. Two males were arrested.

LEE HWY., 4700 block, 1:29 p.m. May 28. A male wearing a red bandanna over his face entered a bank, demanded money, implied he had a weapon and fled with cash.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

GEORGE MASON DR. S., 1500 block, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 3. Cash, video game equipment, video games and clothes were stolen from a residence.

LORCUM LANE, 3900 block, 11:55 p.m. May 29 to 7:20 a.m. May 30. Musical equipment was stolen from a church entered through a bathroom window.

YUCATAN ST. N., 2700 block, 8 p.m. May 27 to 10 a.m. May 29. Cash, a laptop computer and other electronic equipment were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked kitchen window.

SECOND ST. S., 2100 block, 9 p.m. June 3. A man attempted to enter a residence through a window. He fled when a resident confronted him.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

ARLINGTON RIDGE RD. S., 1200 block. A white 1994 Honda Accord was stolen.

COLUMBIA PIKE, 2000 block. A green 1994 Toyota Corolla was stolen.

COLUMBIA PIKE, 2900 block. A white 1994 Hyundai Elantra was stolen.

COLUMBIA PIKE, 5500 block. A green 1993 Saturn was stolen.

FOUR MILE RUN DR. S., 4100 block, 3:09 a.m. June 1. Police responded to a report of tampering with a vehicle and saw two vehicles being driven away. They stopped one vehicle and found the other a short time later after it crashed into a lamppost. The driver fled on foot. One of the vehicles had been stolen. Two people were arrested.

GLEBE RD. S., 2900 block. A dark green 1996 Dodge Caravan was stolen.

GLEBE RD. S., 2900 block. A blue 1993 Nissan Pathfinder was stolen.

JOYCE ST. S., 1400 block. A silver 2000 Jaguar S-type was stolen.

KIRKWOOD RD. N., 1100 block. A black 1996 Honda Accord was stolen.

POLLARD ST. N., 900 block. A white and red 2001 Honda CBR600 motorcycle was stolen.

WILSON BLVD., 3900 block. A green 1999 Ford Mustang was stolen.

12TH ST. S., 1500 block. A black 1992 Cadillac DeVille was stolen.
