JAKE SHIBILSKY, Chesapeake, Jr. P
Lefty transfer from Granite Baptist whose addition made an already standout staff one of the metropolitan area's best. As a pitcher, he went 8-1 with a 1.75 ERA and 80 strikeouts. He also batted .438 with 5 doubles, 2 triples, 7 home runs and 21 RBI to help lead the Cougars to the county title game and the Maryland 4A East Region final. Had a slugging percentage of .822 and stole 14 bases in 15 attempts.

JIM SIMMS, Chesapeake
Guided the Cougars to the best regular season of any team in the county and a spot in the county championship. Chesapeake advanced to the Maryland 4A East Region championship game but lost to Thomas Stone.
ALEX BUCHHOLZ, Old Mill, Jr. I: One of the Patriots' top fielders and also a standout pitcher (4-0 with 2.93 ERA), he helped lead Old Mill to its second consecutive county title. Batted .455 with 5 doubles, 2 triples 1 home run and 18 RBI. Scored 27 runs.
TIM BUCK, Chesapeake Sr. O: Batted .405 with 4 doubles, 3 triples and 19 RBI. Scored 14 runs and stole 10 bases in 11 tries.
CHRIS CRUM, Severna Park, Jr. I: Did it all for the Falcons. Hit .540 with an on-base percentage of .650 and a slugging percentage of .984. Had 33 RBI, 11 doubles, 1 triple, 5 home runs and 21 runs scored. Walked 17 times and struck out just six times. Falcons' ace went 4-0 with one save and a 2.04 ERA.
JEFF FEIGL, Arundel, Sr. P: Went 7-1 with 1 save, a 1.13 ERA, 61 strikeouts and just 9 walks. Also played second base and made just one error. He batted .357 with 5 doubles, 1 triple, 18 runs scored and 7 RBI. Had a fielding percentage of .986. Will play for Marietta (Ohio).
ANDREW GERMUTH, Spalding, Sr. P: The ace for the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference runner-up. Went 10-2 with a 2.33 ERA and 61 strikeouts. Also batted .263 with 20 RBI and 14 runs scored. Will play for Mount St. Mary's.
DUANE HERR, Glen Burnie, Jr. O: Batted .412 for the Gophers with 8 doubles, 1 triple, 1 home run and 13 RBI. Scored 23 runs.
BRETT JONES, Southern, Sr. I: Led the Bulldogs to the Maryland 2A South Region championship. Batted .410 with 25 RBI and two home runs. As a pitcher went 5-3 with a 2.66 ERA and tossed a no-hitter against South River. Will play for Delaware Tech.
JEFF KOSCIELNIAK, Old Mill, Sr. P: Went 7-2 with 81 strikeouts, just 10 walks and a 1.02 ERA. He pitched four innings of near-flawless relief to lead the Patriots to a victory in the county championship game. Batted .397 with 21 RBI.
CAMERON LOESCHKE, Chesapeake, Sr. I: Batted .440 with 8 doubles, 2 triples, 1 home run and 29 RBI. Walked nine times and stole three bases in three attempts. Will play for Widener.
BRIAN McCORMICK, Arundel, Sr. C: The Wildcats' top hitter batted .472 and led the team in doubles (10), RBI (25) and walks (15). Hit two home runs and had a team-high slugging percentage of .811 and a team-high on-base percentage of .594.
DUSTIN MITCHELL, Arundel, Sr. P: Went 5-2 with one save and had a 0.88 ERA. Allowed just 28 hits in nearly 40 innings and struck out 55 batters while walking only seven.
JUSTIN PERRY, Spalding, Sr. C: Led the Cavaliers in batting average (.547), slugging percentage (.863), RBI (37) and doubles (14). Was second in home runs with six. Will play for Marshall.
TOMMY SCHLEIN, Chesapeake Sr. I/P: A first baseman and another member of the Cougars' standout pitching staff. Went 7-2 with a 2.51 ERA, 70 strikeouts and just 5 walks. Batted .306 with 8 doubles, 1 triple, 1 home run and 12 RBI.
SHAWN SUMMERS, Old Mill, Sr. O: Batted .457 for the county champions with 7 doubles, 3 triples, 4 home runs and 29 RBI. Also stole five bases and scored 22 runs.
