ROUSBY HALL RD., 1:45 p.m. June 3. Gasoline was pumped into a vehicle without payment.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY

OWINGS, 7:38 p.m. June 2. The finish of a vehicle parked at Maryland County Caterers was scratched, and its hubcaps were removed.

Port Republic Area

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY

WOODRIDGE RD., 5:15 p.m. June 6. A window at a residence was broken with a rock.

Prince Frederick Area

ASSAULTS

HOSPITAL RD., 5:20 a.m. June 7. A male was taken to Calvert Memorial Hospital after being hit in the head with a hammer by his brother, 18. The brother was charged with first-degree assault.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

SOLOMONS ISLAND RD., 5:07 p.m. June 4. Someone broke into Attaboy Tack Inc. at the Calvert Country Market. A computer was broken, and sales files were stolen.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY

SOLOMONS ISLAND RD., 7:58 p.m. June 4. Someone attempted to break into a vehicle parked at Chapline Place Shopping Center. The owner of the vehicle shouted at him, and the person fled. The vehicle's turn signal arm was located outside the vehicle.

SOLOMONS ISLAND RD., June 4-June 6. A 1982 Ford F-150 truck was stolen from the Kmart parking lot.

ASSAULTS

MATTHEWS RD., 100 block, 11:10 p.m. June 5. Two males, ages 16 and 17, threw an egg at a woman, 20, causing minor injury. They were charged with second-degree assault and reckless endangerment.

JIMMY GREEN'S PL., May 24 to May 29. An orange Suzuki GSXR 1000 motorcycle was stolen from a residence.

La Plata Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

HAWTHORNE RD., 6900 block, 2:15 a.m. June 4. A man, 36, broke into Halfway Liquors. He was charged with second-degree burglary.

Nanjemoy Area

ASSAULTS

GILROY RD., 7900 block, 11:30 p.m. May 27. A female, 16, armed with a knife assaulted a man, 48. She was charged with first- and second-degree assault and possession of a deadly weapon with intent to injure.

Waldorf Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BENSVILLE RD., 7400 block, 3:15 to 6:45 a.m. May 29. Cartons of cigarettes and cigars were stolen from J&W Market.

MICHAEL RD., 1900 block, 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. June 4. Money was stolen from a residence.

PALMER PL., 3000 block, 1 a.m. June 6. License plates were stolen from a vehicle.

SMALLWOOD DR., WEST, 1200 block, 11:50 p.m. May 25. A male, 17, broke into Legends Dinner and Dance Club. He was charged with second- and fourth-degree burglary.

STONE AVE., 800 block, 10:06 p.m. June 1. A male, 15, was found inside one of the classroom trailers at Dr. Samuel A. Mudd Elementary School. He was charged with second-degree burglary.

ARSON

MILL HILL RD., 3:10 a.m. June 6. A 1999 Ford Expedition was set on fire.

White Plains Area

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY

RAVINE DR., 3900 block, June 4. A parked vehicle was vandalized.

CALIFORNIA, 1:23 p.m. May 30. A woman, 57, assaulted a man, 54, at a residence. She was charged with second-degree assault.

Chaptico Area

ASSAULTS

CHAPTICO, 7:10 p.m. June 3. A woman, 34, and a man, 37, assaulted each other. They were charged with second-degree assault.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY

CHAPTICO, June 5. After a dispute, a youth damaged a vehicle at a residence, obtained a rifle and fled. He later returned and was charged with malicious destruction of property over $500.

DAMERON, June 5. A portable electric generator was stolen from a residence.

OLD MISSOURI AVE., 11 p.m. June 1 to 6 a.m. June 2. Two tires on a vehicle parked at a residence were punctured.

GREAT MILLS, June 3. A business was ransacked, and food, money and cooking utensils were stolen.

COMMERCE AVE., June 2. Four American Racing 17-inch wheel rims were stolen from a vehicle parked at a business.

ROUTE 5, June 2. Three men, ages 38, 40 and 40, were discovered removing seven flowerpots from Zimmerman's Greenhouse. They were charged with theft.

GREAT MILLS RD., June 3. A license plate was stolen from a vehicle.

Mechanicsville Area

ASSAULTS

MECHANICSVILLE, 10:45 a.m. May 27. A man, 46, assaulted a woman, 51, at a business. He was charged with second-degree assault.

MECHANICSVILLE, 4:30 p.m. June 3. A woman, 40, assaulted a man, 41, at a residence. She was charged with second-degree assault.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

MECHANICSVILLE, June 2. Gas was pumped into a vehicle at a WaWa without payment.
