The Falls Church Community Services Council has named Nick Snow its new president for 2004-05. Snow had been the council's recording secretary for the past two years and previously served as its representative from Knox Presbyterian Church.

The council is a coalition of 17 churches and faith groups that perform charitable services to benefit the greater Falls Church community. Other newly elected officers include Shawnna Yashar, Robbie B. Snow, Stan Maughlin and Pat Layer.

The Falls Church Community Center will be the site for a discussion called "Spiritual Fitness: A New View of Looking Good and Feeling Good" at 11 a.m. Saturday. McLean Bible Church's singles group, Focus, will host a pig roast from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Bull Run Regional Park. Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for ages 12 and younger. All area singles are invited. The park is at 7700 Bull Run Dr., Centreville. For more information, call 703-770-2975.

Mount Olive Baptist Church will hold a youth revival at 7 p.m. Wednesday, next Thursday and June 25.
