The Reston Festival, July 10 and 11 at Reston Town Center, needs assistance with setup, break-down, the children's activities area, food and T-shirt sales, the information booth and more. The Fairfax County Park Authority is looking for people to help with its adapted aquatics program. Training in the basic skills needed to assist individuals with disabilities will be provided 1-6 p.m. Saturday at the Providence RECenter, 7525 Marc Dr., Falls Church. The Reston Association is seeking volunteers for its Weed Warriors program, 10 a.m.-noon June 26 at the Bright Pond cul-de-sac. Participants, who must be 14 or older, will remove invasive exotic plants and plant wildflower seeds and tree seedlings to restore the site.
