* Repeat All-Extra goalkeeper had a 6.45 goals-against average with a 71 percent save percentage and 221 saves.

* First-team all-Northwestern Region selection and Cedar Run District player of the year.

* Will play at Wingate (N.C.) University.

Coach of the Year

Kevin Marsh, Osbourn Park

* Repeat All-Extra choice led team to 13-4 record, with win over private school Highland and Northwestern Region semifinals appearance.

* Yellow Jackets won the Cedar Run District regular season and tournament titles and reached regionals for fourth straight year.

* Will coach at new Battlefield High School next season.

First Team

A Brian Bagford, Osbourn Park, Sr. -- Collected 31 goals and 15 assists for Northwestern Region semifinalists. Will attend George Mason University.

A Ryan Otterblad, Forest Park, Jr. -- Cardinal District player of the year and repeat All-Extra choice racked up 51 goals, 26 assists and 57 ground balls.

A Ryan Verrilli, Stonewall Jackson, Jr. -- All-Northwestern Region first-team selection amassed 46 goals, 17 assists and 34 ground balls.

MF Dan Bamford, Woodbridge, Jr. -- Tallied 32 goals, 8 assists and 78 ground balls for Cardinal District tournament champions.

MF Dylan Besley, Osbourn Park, Sr. -- Repeat All-Extra choice won 65 percent of his faceoffs and added 20 goals, 6 assists and 89 ground balls. Will attend Northern Virginia Community College.

MF Brad Weems, Osbourn Park, Sr. -- Outside threat accumulated 21 goals, 13 assists and 62 ground balls. Will attend Mary Washington College.

MF Walter Williams, Stonewall Jackson, Sr. -- Repeat All-Extra choice and all-Northwestern Region first-teamer contributed 27 goals, 18 assists, 76 ground balls and won 67 percent of his faceoffs. Will attend Purdue University.

D Erick Balish, Forest Park, Jr. -- Led regular season Cardinal District champions with 60 ground balls and 52 takeaways.

D Bryan Wedel, Osbourn Park, Sr. -- First-team all-Northwestern Region selection all but shut down some of the area's top scorers and collected 21 ground balls. Will attend James Madison University.

D Nate Williams, Stonewall Jackson, Sr. -- Repeat All-Extra and first-team all-region choice totaled 29 ground balls and 14 takeaways. Will attend Virginia Tech.

GK Brad Hester, Woodbridge, Jr. -- Had a 5.9 goals-against average, with 229 saves, 71 percent save percentage and 45 ground balls.
