Second-team All-Met selection has been one of the key ingredients in Highland's emergence as one of the top private school programs in the state. This season Bell was the center of the Hawks' offense, with both his passing and scoring. He had 61 goals, 75 assists and 199 ground balls. Has 311 career points.

Paul Horgan, Highland

Seventh Season

Starting from scratch, Horgan has turned the Warrenton school into one of the top private school programs in Virginia. The Hawks won the Delaney Athletic Conference title and advanced for the second consecutive year to The Invitational Lacrosse Tournament Division II championship game, where they again lost to Covenant School.

* A Alex Fleming, Loudoun Valley, Sr. -- The Vikings' senior leader on offense, tallying 34 goals and 27 assists.

* A Blake Harrison, Loudoun County, Sr. -- The Raiders' top offensive threat was named the Dulles District player of the year.

* A Andrew Raich, Highland, Sr. -- Had a team-high 70 goals to go with 10 assists and 95 ground balls. Will play for Army.

* A Harrison Young, Highland, Jr. -- Finished with 68 goals, 9 assists and 88 ground balls.

* MF J.D. Harkey, Loudoun Valley, Soph. -- Won 92 percent of faceoffs. Added 20 goals and five assists.

* MF Tommy Schonder, Loudoun Valley, Soph -- Part of a talented sophomore class, Schonder had 28 goals and 15 assists.

* MF Ryan Walker, Highland, Sr. -- Scored 27 goals and added 23 assists for the Hawks. Will play for Lynchburg College.

* D Will Ashwell, Notre Dame, Sr. -- Had 75 ground balls, 6 goals and 8 assists for the Dragons. Will play for Hampden-Sydney.

* D Paul Hagood, Broad Run, Jr. -- One of the more active long-stick players in the Dulles District, often keying the Spartans' transition from defense to offense. Broad Run allowed only 33 goals in 14 wins.

* D Nick Kelley, Broad Run, Sr. -- Had 21 ground balls and was a big part of the Spartans' defense. Will play football at Frostburg State.

* D Cameron McWhinney, Loudoun Valley, Sr. -- Anchor of a Vikings defense that held opponents to 4.5 goals per game. Will play for Roanoke College.

* G Ray Narciso, Broad Run, Jr. -- A transfer from DeMatha, Narciso made a big impact with his play in the goal and finished with 139 saves.
