Join in the revelry of an 1812 tavern at Jefferson Patterson Park and Museum's riverside pavilion. Traditional maritime music will be performed by Calico Jack, a folk duo from Annapolis. The group will be joined on the "Patterson's Pint" stage by William Pint and Felicia Dale, who will perform traditional songs of the sea and new tunes inspired by their travels. Specialty vendors will prepare "period appropriate" tavern food and sell beer, wine and soft drinks. No pets or coolers are permitted. Proceeds benefit the JPPM Education Program. All types of cars will be on display at the second annual Carfest, a benefit event for the residents and services of the Charles County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Hot rods, race cars, antiques, the Charles County D.A.R.E. car, the Oldies Big 100 Mini Cooper and other specialty vehicles, the Steve Potter Band, raffles, prize giveaways and food vendors converge on the center's front lawn.
