SEXUAL ASSAULTS

PENN ST., 2 to 2:30 a.m. June 21. A sexual assault occurred at a residence. A 30-year-old woman was arrested.

ROBBERIES

BAKER ST., 3300 block, 10:55 to 10:56 p.m. June 20. Two men got out of a Chevrolet Cavalier in an alley, and one threatened a pedestrian with a gun and demanded money. No further information was available from police.

BANKS PL., 6100 block, 8:15 p.m. June 23. A gunman and five male accomplices robbed two pedestrians of a fare card, a hat and an athletic jacket.

CENTRAL PL., 1800 block, 4:15 a.m. June 18. A gunman and a male accomplice robbed a motorist of a cell phone and wallet containing documents and cash.

CLAY PL., 5700 block, 11:50 p.m. May 27. A deliveryman was knocked off a moped and robbed of food and cash.

E ST., 300 block, 9:25 p.m. June 19. Seven females assaulted a female pedestrian and attempted to take her backpack.

JAY ST., 3700 block, 11:45 to 11:50 p.m. June 22. A gunman approached a male entering an apartment, forced him to the floor and robbed him of a wallet containing documents and a bank card, then fled with two male accomplices.

MOUNT OLIVET RD., 1200 block, 2 a.m. June 20. A female driver who was lost picked up a male passenger who offered to give her directions. After an argument, the male struck the driver, forced her from the vehicle and fled in it.

NASH ST., 4900 block, 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. April 13. Two males forced a male pedestrian to the ground and robbed him of a wallet containing a credit card.

NEW YORK AVE., 500 block, 8 a.m. June 22. A robbery occurred at a motel.

NEW YORK AVE., 600 block, 8:47 p.m. June 22. Two males entered a motel room, forced two occupants to the floor and robbed them of cash, credit cards, a cell phone and a wallet.

SUMMIT CT , 3400 block, 12:12 a.m. June 20. A gunman robbed a male pedestrian of keys, cash and credit cards.

10TH ST., 500 block, 11:25 a.m. June 22. A male approached a female loading her vehicle and asked for directions, then took property from her vehicle and fled in another vehicle.

16TH ST. AND MOUNT OLIVET RD., 11:50 a.m. June 22. A male robbed a person of a purse containing keys and credit cards.

40TH ST., 300 block, 1 to 1:10 a.m. June 23. Four people assaulted a male pedestrian and robbed him of a cell phone and wallet.

62ND ST., 200 block, 9:30 p.m. June 23. A man approached a deliveryman getting out of a vehicle, pushed the deliveryman and fled in the victim's vehicle.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ADAMS ST., 1300 block, 10:55 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. June 23. DVDs, CDs, clothes, cash, a microwave oven and a bicycle were stolen from an apartment entered by forcing a front door.

BLADENSBURG RD., 1100 block, 1:15 a.m. to 10 a.m. June 20. Cash, cigarettes, a laptop computer and other property were stolen from a restaurant entered by smashing a side window.

BLADENSBURG RD., 1100 block, 7 p.m. June 23 to 5:14 a.m. June 24. A facility was entered by removing a window from a door.

BLADENSBURG RD., 1300 block, 7 p.m. June 17 to 6:30 a.m. June 18. Hoses, nozzles and a ladder were stolen from a service station.

BLAINE ST., 5700 block, 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. June 23. Luggage was stolen from a residence entered by prying a rear basement door.

13TH ST., 2200 block, 11 to 11:16 a.m. June 18. When a female arrived home, she found a male intruder in her garage holding two mosquito lanterns and asked him what he was doing. The male put down the lanterns and fled.

14TH ST., 1-99 block, 1 to 7 a.m. June 18. Property was stolen from a residence.

25TH PL., 2200 block, 3:30 p.m. June 18 to 6:15 a.m. June 21. Tools were stolen from a school entered by forcing a door.

LONGFELLOW ST., 400 block, 3 to 3:15 a.m. June 23. A sexual assault occurred in a home.

MISSOURI AVE., 200 block, 11 a.m. June 20. A man at a gas station got into the passenger side of a car occupied by a female driver. He showed a gun, then told her to drive away and stop on a street. He then sexually assaulted her.

N ST., 11:30 p.m. June 21 to 12:01 a.m. June 22. Two women forced an acquaintance to engage in a sexual act after an argument in a home.

P ST., 3600 block, 4:30 to 5 a.m. June 16. A male motorist offered a ride to a female pedestrian, and she accepted. When the driver made sexual advances, she got out. The driver chased her on foot and sexually assaulted her.

P ST., 4400 block, 1:15 to 1:35 a.m. June 18. A sexual assault occurred on a street.

WALBRIDGE PL., 4:20 a.m. June 19. A female awoke and found a man standing in front of her bed. He hit her with a lamp and chased her downstairs, where he hit her with a vase and produced a knife. No further information was available from police.

16TH AND K STREETS, 8 p.m. June 19 to 6:30 a.m. June 20. A man raped a female at a hotel or motel.

ROBBERIES

ASPEN ST., 400 block, 10:05 p.m. June 24. Three males forced a 26-year-old pedestrian to the ground, kicking and punching him. They took property.

CHAMPLAIN ST., 2300 block, 12:17 a.m. June 19. A man pointed a gun at a pedestrian's stomach and robbed him of a cell phone and a gold ring with a male accomplice.

COLORADO AVE., 5500 block, 1:15 to 1:25 p.m. June 22. A 49-year-old woman slapped and scratched a male acquaintance on a sidewalk, ripped his shirt and took his ATM card.

COLUMBIA RD., 1800 block, 1:53 a.m. June 20. A vehicle blocked a tow truck in an alley while it was towing another vehicle. Two men got out of the blocking vehicle and one demanded money from one of two people in the truck, pushing the person while his accomplice demanded money from the other occupant. A pair of glasses was taken. No further information was available from police. COLUMBIA RD., 1800 block, 8:50 p.m. June 20. A man snatched a wallet from a female customer's seat at a restaurant and ran out the door. The wallet was recovered.

FLORIDA AVE. AND CHAMPLAIN ST., 2:15 a.m. June 22. Two males got out of a car, and one robbed a pedestrian at gunpoint of a wallet, two credit cards, an Army National Guard ID and a cell phone. The robbers fled in the car.

HARVARD ST., 1500 block, 10:28 p.m. June 18. Two male teenagers approached a male pedestrian who was counting money. One pointed a gun at the pedestrian and said, "Give me everything." The pedestrian complied.

I ST., 1400 block, 11:10 a.m. June 19. A man hit a pedestrian in the back of the head, causing him to fall, then took property from the pedestrian's wallet. The robber threw the wallet down and fled.

KENNEDY ST., 1-99 block, 9:30 p.m. June 20. A gunman and another male approached a 50-year-old man sitting in his car. The gunman demanded money. The occupant gave him a wallet, a watch and a diamond ring.

LONGFELLOW ST., 1300 block, 12:30 to 12:34 a.m. June 18. Three males approached a 40-year-old man from behind on a street and asked for change. The man said no. One male hit him and caused him to fall, then reached into his pockets.

MACOMB ST., 3100 block, 12:40 a.m. June 20. A man approached a female pedestrian from behind and demanded her purse. She refused. The man broke her purse strap and took the purse. The female blew a whistle and someone chased the man, who dropped the purse and fled.

NEW JERSEY AVE., 1500 block, 10:30 p.m. June 22. A man took a purse, four gold bangles and cash during a robbery on a sidewalk.

NEW MEXICO AVE., 3300 block, 4:25 to 4:40 p.m. June 18. A man pretended to have his hand stuck in an elevator door at a medical facility. When a male leaned over to help him, another man took the male's wallet, containing medical cards.

NEWTON PL., 600 block, 11 p.m. June 22. While unlocking a front door of a building, a male was put into a chokehold, forced into a stairwell and robbed of keys.

OTIS PL., 800 block, 1:20 a.m. June 20. Three gunmen approached two pedestrians. One said, "Give it up." The robbers took a cell phone, a wallet, a permit, a bank card and keys.

PHELPS AND BANCROFT PLACES, 10:30 p.m. June 22. A gunman told two pedestrians to drop their property and walk away. The pedestrians complied. The gunman and another man took property and fled.

SHEPHERD ST., 1300 block, 8 p.m. June 22. While a 41-year-old man was standing on a sidewalk counting his money, another man ran up and snatched the cash from his hand.

T ST., 1300 block, 11 p.m. June 21. Three males approached a car in a park area, pulled the driver from his car, hit him, took property from his pocket and fled on bikes.

TUCKERMAN ST., 1200 block, 10:16 to 10:18 p.m. June 18. A man entered a hair salon and ordered everybody to get on the floor, then demanded money. An employee said there was none. The man then grabbed a purse containing a cell phone, papers and three credit cards and fled.

VAN BUREN ST., 800 block, 11:10 p.m. June 20. Five male teenagers attacked a male pedestrian and took a wallet, a watch and glasses. An arrest was made.

VERMONT AVE., 1300 block, 6:10 p.m. June 18. A man demanded cash from a male waiting to enter his building. No further information was available from police.

WARDER AND KENYON STREETS, 7:30 a.m. June 20. Two male teenagers approached a female pedestrian from behind and grabbed her purse, kicking and punching her. They took the purse, containing a cell phone, keys and glasses.

SEVENTH ST., 800 block, 7 to 7:10 p.m. June 19. A man snatched property from a pedestrian.

10TH ST. AND SPRING RD., 7:32 p.m. June 18. A man demanded a dollar from a male pedestrian. The pedestrian pulled out his wallet, and the man grabbed it, then punched him in the nose twice and walked away.

12TH ST., 1900 block, 2 a.m. June 19. A man approached a male who was having trouble with his car alarm. He grabbed the car owner's car key and cell phone and fled.

13TH ST., 1700 block, 9:30 to 10:17 p.m. June 21. A male in an alley was trying to put a scooter in his back yard. Two males asked to see it and the owner said no. The males took the scooter and fled.

14TH AND EUCLID STREETS, 10:50 to 10:55 p.m. June 18. Two men approached two pedestrians from the rear. One took a wallet from a pedestrian's front pocket. The pedestrian confronted the robber, but the robber displayed a knife and fled with his accomplice.

14TH AND IRVING STREETS, 9:15 p.m. June 19. Three boys approached a male bicyclist on a street. One said, "I like your shoes, I like your bike," then hit him in the face. The bicyclist shouted for help, and the boys fled.

14TH AND FAIRMONT STREETS, 9 a.m. June 16. A wallet, a green card and documents were taken during a robbery.

15TH AND K STREETS, 3:40 a.m. June 20. A male armed with a knife robbed a pedestrian and fled in a vehicle with another male.

17TH ST., 1700 block, 3:09 to 3:10 p.m. June 22. A man approached a female pedestrian from behind, took her purse and ran through an alley, then fled in a car.

18TH ST., 2200 block, 4:07 a.m. June 24. A gunman demanded a purse from a female pedestrian walking with another pedestrian. The pedestrians refused, and the gunman fled in a car.

BUTTERNUT ST., 800 block, 11:25 p.m. June 17. A man entered a female acquaintance's apartment by cutting a screen from a window. He threatened to kill her if she called police.

CUMBERLAND ST., 3700 block, 9:30 a.m. June 16 to 8:30 p.m. June 20. A home was entered by pushing an unlocked rear door and ransacked. Nothing was reported missing.

T ST., 1300 block, 3:52 p.m. June 23. A man entered a home through a rear window and left through it. A man, 37, was arrested.

U ST., 1100 block, 6:30 a.m. June 21. Cigarettes were taken from a restaurant entered by forcing a rear door.

U ST., 1300 block, 2 to 7:30 p.m. June 19. A laptop computer and a mountain bike were taken from a home entered by prying a front door.

UNIVERSITY PL., 2600 block, 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 22. Two laptop computers, a watch, four DVDs and a bag were taken from a home entered by prying a grate on a rear window.

V ST., 1600 block, 11:25 to 11:28 p.m. June 6. A man entered a home.

WARNER ST., 400 block, 7:30 a.m. June 17 to 8 p.m. June 20. A TV, a blender, a ceramic clock, two bookends and a stamp dispenser were taken from a home entered by breaking a rear window.

WEBSTER ST., 700 block, 2:30 to 5:45 p.m. June 18. A set of keys was taken from a home entered through a rear bathroom window. A motorcycle was damaged in an attempt to start it.

SIXTH ST., 700 block, 6:40 p.m. June 23. A male intruder was at a construction site.

SIXTH ST., 1700 block, 4:20 p.m. June 19 to 5:25 p.m. June 20. Property was taken from a specialty store entered by pulling security bars from a rear window.

SIXTH ST., 1700 block, 9:43 to 9:55 p.m. June 20. A rear door of a specialty store was opened and an alarm keypad was destroyed.

SEVENTH ST., 1300 block, 10:48 p.m. June 22. A man kicked open a front door of an acquaintance's home and punched the acquaintance. The assault continued in the hallway, where the man pushed the other person's face against a stairwell.

13TH ST., 700 block, 8 p.m. June 18 to 8:30 a.m. June 21. A thief used a key card to enter an office building and took property.

13TH ST., 3000 block, 4 p.m. June 18 to 7 p.m. June 19. A home under renovation was entered by prying a basement door. Nothing was reported missing.

15TH ST., 1100 block, 8:43 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 19. An alarm was triggered at an office building. A front door was found forced open and property had been taken from a desk drawer, which had been pried open.

16TH ST., 1000 block, 4:30 p.m. June 21. A hotel or motel door was pried open. A male was stopped by security personnel and arrested.

20TH ST., 1800 block, 4:30 a.m. June 21. A male tried to enter a grocery store by kicking a glass door. When he saw another person, he fled in a car with an accomplice.

HOMICIDES

16TH ST., 400 block, 11:25 p.m. June 18. An unidentified male was found unconscious in an alley. He was taken to the D.C. Medical Examiner's Office, where he was pronounced dead.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

EATON RD., 1 a.m. June 19. A male sexually assaulted a female youth in a residence.

23RD ST., 11 a.m. May 22. A sexual assault occurred in a residence.

ROBBERIES

ALABAMA AVE., 1800 block, 10 p.m. June 21. A man with a knife robbed a male, 14, of cash at a home. Another man assaulted a male, 17, and robbed him of cash. Two 20-year-old men and a 19-year-old man were arrested.

CONGRESS PL., 1400 block, 6:15 a.m. June 23. A gunman and a male accomplice assaulted and robbed a male pedestrian, 19.

EATON RD., 1200 block, 1 a.m. June 21. Four people flagged down a male, 23, and a female, 22, in a vehicle. A male jumped in front of the vehicle while another male produced a gun. The occupants fled from the vehicle. Property was taken.

GOOD HOPE RD., 1500 block, 1:10 a.m. June 22. A male forced a female pedestrian to the ground and snatched a purse containing medication.

HALF ST., 1300 block, 11:35 p.m. June 19. A male snatched property from a female pedestrian.

HOWARD RD., 1000 block, 12:30 p.m. June 23. A male snatched a purse from a female pedestrian, 21.

NEWCOMB ST., 400 block, 7 p.m. June 19. Two males assaulted and attempted to rob a male pedestrian, 41, who fled. Nothing was reported taken.

PENNSYLVANIA AVE., 600 block, 12:15 p.m. June 24. A male robbed a female acquaintance of property.

RIDGE RD., 1100 block, 12:25 to 12:30 p.m. June 21. A male snatched a purse containing keys and a credit card from a female pedestrian, then fled in a vehicle.

S ST., 1900 block, 9:35 p.m. May 3. Two males stopped a driver of a truck and asked for a jump start for a vehicle battery. One of the males used a stun gun on the driver's neck, and the males then searched the victim's pockets while demanding money. No further information was available from police.

SOUTHERN AVE., 600 block, 9 p.m. June 21. Two males assaulted two male youths, 13 and 15, and robbed them of a cell phone and a bicycle.

THIRD ST., 4500 block, 10:50 p.m. June 19. A woman snatched property from a male, 49, in vehicle in a parking area.

SEVENTH ST. AND NORTH CAROLINA AVE., 10:45 p.m. June 22. A male snatched property from a female pedestrian and fled in a vehicle.

SEVENTH ST., 500 block, 10:26 p.m. June 19. A gunman robbed two pedestrians of property.

11TH ST., 100 block, 4:45 a.m. June 22. A gunman and a male accomplice in a vehicle demanded that a newspaper deliveryman drop his car keys. The deliveryman fled on foot. Nothing was reported taken.

13TH ST. AND MASSACHUSETTS AVE., 11:30 p.m. June 23. A pedestrian was assaulted and robbed of property.

24TH PL., 3000 block, 11:10 p.m. June 19. A male assaulted a male pedestrian, 22, and demanded property. The pedestrian said he had nothing, and the assailant fled.

A ST., 1800 block, 11 a.m. June 10 to 8 a.m. June 21. A residence was entered by an intruder who turned on a water faucet and caused damage to the building.

CHESAPEAKE ST., 800 block, 9:10 p.m. June 23. A boy, 14, argued with a female, then a male intervened, showed a handgun and chased the boy into the house of a relative of the boy. No further information was available from police.

HIGH ST., 2300 block, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 23. A trimmer, a lawn mower and a paint sprayer were stolen from a residence entered through a basement door.

MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. AVE., 2400 block, 4 a.m. June 19. Flooring, a CD player, a TV and a telephone were stolen from a residence entered through a window.

MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. AVE., 2400 block, 8:15 p.m. June 18 to 4:10 a.m. June 19. Property was stolen from a convenience store entered through the roof.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE., 3300 block, 4 p.m. May 27 to 9 p.m. May 28. Emergency lighting was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a front door.

MISSISSIPPI AVE., 1000 block, 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. June 18. Property was stolen from a residence entered through a bedroom window.

P ST., 1800 block, 11 to 11:30 a.m. June 22. TVs and a VCR were stolen from an apartment by a male who entered through a window.

SOUTH CAROLINA AVE., 1200 block, 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. June 22. Property was stolen from a residence entered through a rear door.

STANTON RD., 3000 block, 10:40 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 20. A DVD player was allegedly stolen from a residence by a man who entered with a key. A man, 35, was arrested.

W ST., 1600 block, 12:01 to 11 a.m. June 18. DVDs, video games, jewelry and video game consoles were stolen from an apartment entered by forcing a living room window.

WHEELER RD., 3500 block, 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 17. Jewelry, video games, video game consoles and cigarettes were stolen from a residence entered through a bathroom window.

XENIA ST., 400 block, June. Jewelry, DVDs, a coat, a camera, a video camera and a video game console were stolen from a residence entered through a window.

YUMA ST., 800 block, 12:30 to 8:34 p.m. June 19. Jewelry, a watch and a laptop computer were stolen from a residence.

EIGHTH ST., 1-99 block, 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. June 21. Property was stolen from a residence entered by smashing a rear bedroom window.

NINTH ST., 4000 block, 6:57 p.m. June 24. A male attempted to enter an apartment by breaking the track of a sliding glass door, then fled when confronted by a female resident.

10TH PL., 3300 block, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 18. A DVD/VCR player was stolen from a residence entered through a patio door.

15TH ST., 100 block, 5:30 p.m. June 21 to 7:30 a.m. June 22. Property was stolen from an office building entered by kicking a front door.

34TH ST., 300 block, 4:30 p.m. June 22 to 8 a.m. June 23. A saw was stolen from an apartment entered by breaking a glass pane in a front door.

46TH PL., 600 block, 8:15 a.m. June 22 to 9:30 a.m. June 23. A TV was stolen from an apartment entered by removing an air conditioner from a living room window.
