Columbia Area

ROBBERIES

BASKET RING RD., 9600 block, 10:45 a.m. June 27. A person forced a male cyclist off a bicycle and demanded cash. The cyclist said he had no cash and was hit in the head with a stick. The person fled empty-handed. The cyclist was taken to a hospital for injuries to the head.

STEVENS FOREST RD., 5700 block, 12:12 a.m. June 27. Three people punched a male pedestrian, kicked him and robbed him of a cell phone.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ALVALANCHE WAY, 11200 block, 6:30 p.m. June 24 to 11:30 a.m. June 27. A TV and a video game system were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a rear window.

OXHORN CT., 6600 block, 5:44 p.m. June 29. A male was seen fleeing from a residence through a basement door to a vehicle occupied by a male driver. Dogs inside the residence were heard barking. Nothing was reported stolen.

RED APPLE LANE, 9500 block, June 23. Two bicycles were stolen from a storage shed at a residence.

RIVENDELL LANE, 5200 block, noon June 25 to 11 a.m. June 27. A residence was entered through a window. Nothing was reported missing.

STEVENS FOREST RD., 5800 block, 5:16 p.m. June 28. An apparently intoxicated male entered an apartment through a rear door and was confronted by a 14-year-old boy. The intruder fled. A man, age 22, was arrested.

TAILCOAT WAY, 10300 block, 12:39 p.m. June 28. A bicycle was stolen from a residential garage.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

BROOK WAY, 5200 block, 11:31 a.m. June 27. A 1992 Suzuki Aerio was stolen.

DOCKSIDE LANE, 7200 block, 9:18 p.m. June 29. A 1994 Acura Integra was stolen.

GREEN MOUNTAIN CIR., 5000 block, 9:52 a.m. June 24. An attempt was made to steal a motorcycle.

HICKORY RIDGE RD., 10400 block, 8:59 a.m. June 26. A silver 1989 Oldsmobile was stolen.

SMOOTH MEADOW WAY, 5300 block, 8:53 a.m. June 25. A white 1992 Dodge Neon was stolen.

Elkridge Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

MONTGOMERY RD., 6000 block, 11:20 a.m. June 27. A Case backhoe was stolen from a construction site at an elementary school, driven over a surrounding fence and across a baseball field. An officer on patrol recovered the backhoe on Millstone Court.

Ellicott City Area

ROBBERIES

BALTIMORE NATIONAL PIKE, 9100 block, 10:41 a.m. June 28. A man in a bank implied he had a weapon and demanded cash from a teller. The teller complied.

COLUMBIA RD., 4600 block, 12:34 a.m. June 26. A girl and two boys accosted a 15-year-old boy at knifepoint. The boy was threatened, assaulted and robbed of his tennis shoes. A 16-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy were later arrested at their residence.

MARYLAND AVENUE AND MULLIGANS HILL LANE AREA, 8:30 p.m. June 28. Several people came out of a wooded area and accosted two pedestrians on railroad tracks. One of the pedestrians, a 17-year-old boy, was assaulted and robbed of a wallet. The second pedestrian had been told the incident was going to take place. Three people were later arrested.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

CHATHAM RD. N., 3300 block, 12:02 p.m. June 27. A green 1997 Honda Accord was stolen.

Jessup Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

JONES RD., 7900 block, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 24. Jewelry boxes were stolen from a residence entered by kicking a rear basement door.

PROPHECY PL., 6100 block, 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. June 24. An attempt was made to enter a residence by breaking a ground level-window glass and forcing a window frame.

STAYTON DR., 8000 block, 12:16 a.m. June 27. A front door at a business was smashed. Nothing was reported stolen.

WASHINGTON BLVD., 8800 block, 5 p.m. June 23 to 9:19 a.m. June 24. Vehicle parts were stolen from a residential shed.

WYE AVE., 7300 block, 4:57 a.m. June 27. Coins, electronic equipment and other property were stolen from a residence.

Laurel Area

ROBBERIES

SQUIRES AND WOODSONG COURTS, 10:40 p.m. June 29. A male pulled a handgun on a pizza delivery person after a delivery at a residence and took cash.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CENTER ST., 1 to 100 block, 5:07 p.m. June 28. Several people were seen entering a vacant mobile home, removing property from the home and placing the property in a truck.

COVERED WAGON DR., 9700 block, 8 a.m. June 29 to 12:39 a.m. June 30. Cash was stolen from a residence entered by breaking a window.

GORMAN RD., 10600 block, 1:15 to 3:30 p.m. June 25. Camera equipment and birthday cards were stolen from a residence entered through a front door.

MARY LEE LANE, 8200 block, 9 a.m. to 3:50 p.m. June 25. A computer and camera equipment were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a rear basement window.

SCAGGSVILLE RD., 11000 block, 3:15 a.m. June 26. Computer items were stolen from a business entered by smashing a front door.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

ROBINSON BLVD., 9800 block, 11:27 p.m. June 27. A gold 1999 Chrysler Cirrus was stolen.

INDECENT EXPOSURE

OLD FREDERICK RD., 16300 block, 8:11 p.m. June 28. A teenage boy pulled down his pants and exposed himself.
