BROADBRANCH RD., 6000 block, 9:15 a.m. to 1:40 p.m. June 11. Computer equipment, ties and jewelry were stolen from a residence entered by breaking a window.

EXECUTIVE BLVD., 6000 block, 1:45 p.m. June 12 to 8:15 a.m. June 14. A business was entered by forcing open a door. Nothing was reported missing.

Germantown District

ASSAULTS

RIDGE RD., 27600 block, 12:16 a.m. June 30. A man struck an acquaintance with the blunt end of a shotgun, then fired a shot at the vicitm as he ran to his residence. A Rock Ridge man, 41, was charged with first- and second-degree assault and reckless endangerment.

ROBBERIES

BEDFORD CT., 11400 block, May 22. A Germantown boy, 16, was charged with robbery with a dangerous and deadly weapon in connection with an incident at the above location.

CINNAMON DRIVE, 11:30 p.m. June 23. A male demanded money from a Germantown boy, 17. Three more people walked up behind him and then one of them struck him with a hard object and robbed him of property.

ROUTE 118 AND AIRCRAFT DRIVE, 2:35 a.m. June 27. A male demanded cash from a Germantown man, 22, and a second male struck him from behind with a hard object. The robbers fled empty-handed.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

LOCBURY CT., 1 to 100 block, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 16. A telephone was stolen from a residence.

MEANDER COVE DR., 13200 block, noon to 5 p.m. June 18. A handgun was stolen from a residence entered by forcing open a door.

OBSERVATION CT., 1 to 100 block, 5 p.m. June 14 to 5 p.m. June 17. A TV, CDs, several pairs of shoes, jackets and makeup were stolen from a residence.

SHADYSIDE WAY, 20500 block, 9 a.m. June 17 to 7 p.m. June 19. A residence was entered. Nothing was reported missing.

SUMMER SONG LANE, 20500 block, 7:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. June 18. A residence was entered by prying a frame on a window. Nothing was reported missing.

ASSAULTS

STRAWBERRY KNOLL RD., 18800 block, 6 p.m. June 22. A male accosted a Gaithersburg woman, 24, grabbed her, made a remark and walked away.

ROBBERIES

GIRARD ST., 400 block, 12:40 a.m. June 15. A male forced a Gaithersburg woman, 41, to the ground and robbed her of a backpack.

MONTGOMERY VILLAGE AVE., 19300 block, 12:04 a.m. June 20. A male walked up to the driver's side of a cab, implied he had a gun and demanded cash from the driver. Then the robber hit the Germantown driver, 53, and left empty-handed.

MONTGOMERY VILLAGE AVE., 19300 block, 7:13 p.m. June 24. Three males robbed a service station of cash at gunpoint. A boy, 16, of no fixed address, was charged with first-degree assault, theft under $500, second-degree assault and conspiracy to commit armed robbery.

BOYSENBERRY DR., 18500 block, 11:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. June 14. Cash and a TV were stolen from a residence entered by forcing open a door.

ROBBERIES

GUDE DRIVE E. AND SOUTHLAWN LANE, 5 a.m. June 19. Two males robbed a business and shot an employee. The employee was treated at a hospital and released. Two Rockville male residents, ages 15 and 18, were charged in the incident June 30 with attempted first-degree murder, armed robbery, first-degree assault and use of a handgun in the commission of a violent crime and conspiracy.

NORBECK RD., 5500 block, 8:03 p.m. June 22. Two males accosted a Rockville boy, 17, and robbed him of cash at knifepoint.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

WASHINGTON ST. N., 400 block, 10:45 p.m. June 15 to 7:40 a.m. June 16. Computers were stolen from a business entered by removing a door.

Silver Spring District

ASSAULTS

DOMER AVE., 500 block, 6:53 p.m. June 13. Six people accosted a Takoma Park man, 19, and one of them began to beat, kick and hit him on the head with a bottle. The man was taken to a local hospital and treated for injuries.

FENTON AND CAMERON STREETS, 11:30 p.m. June 14. A male armed with a knife, approached a locked vehicle occupied by a Silver Spring man, 23, then fled.

SCHULYER RD., 100 block, 6:45 p.m. June 14. During an argument, a male pointed a gun at a Silver Spring man, 27, and shot several shots at the man and fled in a vehicle with two other males.

ROBBERIES

BEAVERWOOD LANE, 3100 block, 10:50 p.m. June 18. A man wearing a white bandana around his face, grabbed a Silver Spring woman, 41, hit her and forced her to the ground, then robbed her of a purse.

CAMERON ST., 8500 block, 4:34 p.m. June 18. A man in a parking garage removed a CD player from a vehicle and threatened an Ellicott City man, 28, with a gun, then fled on foot with the property.

GEORGIA AVE., 12200 block, 1:50 a.m. June 19. Two men grabbed a Silver Spring man, 20, cut him on the cheek with a knife and robbed him of cash, a wallet and clothes.

HEWITT AVE., 3200 block, 11:40 a.m. June 17. Two men knocked at a door, pushed their way into an apartment and robbed a Silver Spring man, 18, of cash and jewelry at knifepoint.

DALEWOOD DRIVE AND RANDOLPH ROAD, 3:45 p.m. June 22. A woman attempted to rob a Wheaton man, 28, of cash at knifepoint.

CARROLL AVE., 7300 block, 9:35 p.m. June 25. A male grabbed a female pedestrian by her clothing, pulled out a knife and made a sexually explicit comment. Another pedestrian came by and the assailant fled. No injuries were reported.

ROBBERIES

CARROLL AVE., 7000 block, 1:30 to 2 a.m. June 25. A male pretended to be ill and walked up to a vehicle occupied by a man and woman. The male motorist got out of the vehicle to offer assistance. Then two other males accosted the man and robbed him of a wallet and one of the males punched him. A fourth male tried to reach the woman in the vehicle but her door was locked. All four robbers fled.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

KENNEBEC AVE., 700 block, 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 25. Property was stolen from a residence entered by forcing open a garage door.

MAPLE AVE., 7500 block, 3:20 p.m. June 26. A man was charged June 26 with theft under $500.

NEW HAMPSHIRE AVE., 7600 block, 10:10 p.m. June 28. A man was charged June 28 with theft under $500.

ROANOKE AVE., 8200 block, noon to 6:15 p.m. June 28. Property was stolen from a residence.

UNIVERSITY BLVD., 1100 block, 1 p.m. June 29. A man was charged June 29 with theft under $500.
