Camp on Wheels

Aug. 2-6. Campers ages 8-12 travel each day to a different destination, including Port Discovery in Baltimore, Watkins Regional Park in Prince George's County, and the Calvert Marine Museum and Calvert Cliffs State Park in Calvert County. Campers will need to be dropped off and picked up in Prince Frederick daily and provide their own bagged lunch. Cost is $85 and includes all admission charges at the various venues. Nursing

Maritime

July 28-30, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Offered for the first time by Historic St. Mary's City Foundation and Friends, the camp is designed for ages 9-12 who want to explore sea life in the 1600s and earn a certificate of seamanship through a variety of programs and activities, including knot tying, sail raising, beach cooking, trading, navigation, tale spinning, and visiting the waterfront and the Maryland Dove.
