UNLIMITED YOUTH FOOTBALL: Northern Virginia Unlimited Youth Football is holding registration for its 2004 Fall Season (practice begins Aug. 2). U-14 GIRLS' TRYOUTS: The Arlington Edge, a rising U-14 team playing in Division 3 of WAGS, is looking for a couple committed field players and a backup goalie/field player. NVGSA: The Northern Virginia Girls Softball Association (NVGSA) will be holding tryouts for the 2004 and 2005 seasons for all age levels (10-and-under, 12-U, 14-U 16-U and 18-U) for both the Fairfax Firebirds and the NVGSA Dimension. Tryouts will be held at Wakefield Forest Elementary School (WFES) in Annandale on Aug. 7 and 21, 2004. Times for try-outs are: 10-U (8 a.m.), 12-U (9 a.m.), 14-U (10 a.m.) and 16- and 18-U (noon), and are scheduled to run for two hours per age group. The 14U Firebirds will also be holding an additional tryout on August 11, 2004 at WFES at 6:00PM.
