HOMICIDES

RHODE ISLAND AVE., 400 block, noon July 4. Larry Baskin, 47, of the 100 block of U Street NE, was found on a street with gunshot wounds. He was taken to Washington Hospital Center, where he was pronounced dead at 12:33 p.m.

DIVISION AVE., 100 block, 2:32 p.m. July 8. Broderick Eric Brown, 23, of the 4800 block of C Street SE, was found in a mini van with gunshot wounds to the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

53RD ST., 200 block, 1:15 p.m. July 7. Tiffany Jefferson, 26, of the 200 block of 53rd Street NE, and an unidentified male were found in a residence with gunshot wounds. They were pronounced dead at the scene.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

15TH ST., 12:01 a.m. June 16. An 11-year-old boy touched a 7-year-old girl inappropriately in a home.

ROBBERIES

ANACOSTIA AVE., 1500 block, 5 to 5:05 p.m. July 3. A man asked a female pedestrian for cash. After she refused, he grabbed her and pushed her against a fence. He took cash from her purse and fled.

BLAINE ST., 4200 block, 12:15 to 12:20 a.m. July 4. A man asked for a cigarette light from a male sitting in a car in a parking area. When the male handed him a lighter, the man pointed a gun at him and demanded cash. The male said he had none, and the gunman repeated his demand.

CHERRY RD., 3100 block, 9:30 p.m. July 7. A man approached a female in a vehicle in a parking area. He opened the driver's side door, showed a gun and snatched a purse containing a checkbook, cash, a credit card and papers.

EADS ST., 4500 block, 7:18 to 7:20 p.m. July 7. Two males in a gold-colored car approached a male on a street. One asked, "Is there a problem?" and the pedestrian said, "You tell me." The other male got out of the car, robbed the pedestrian at gunpoint and drove away.

EASTERN AVE., 6100 block, 9:40 a.m. July 5. A man showed a badge to a 38-year-old man at a bus stop, pushed him against a wall, put an object to the back of his head and took property.

H ST., 1200 block, 1:34 a.m. July 8. A man grabbed property from the hand of a customer who was paying for food at a restaurant.

H ST., 1800 block, 8:38 to 9 a.m. July 4. A man with a knife robbed another male of keys and a wallet in an alley. A man, 46, was arrested.

HAYES ST., 3500 block, 9 to 9:30 p.m. Jan. 27. Three males robbed a male on the street of a license, a jacket, a bank card and a Social Security card. They fled in a green minivan.

KENILWORTH AVE., 1500 block, 9 to 9:02 a.m. July 6. A man grabbed a female pedestrian by the neck, knocked her down, unsuccessfully tried to take her purse and fled.

MARYLAND AVE., 1500 block, 7:30 a.m. July 8. A man entered a specialty store, asked a question and left. He later returned, climbed over a partition and knocked an employee down, demanding keys and cash.

MOUNT OLIVET RD., 1100 block, 5 p.m. July 4. A group of males approached a male pedestrian. One hit him in the head with a beer bottle and another punched him, taking property.

NEW YORK AVE., 1500 block, 6:50 a.m. July 2. Three males approached a male pedestrian. One held a gun and demanded cash. Another hit the pedestrian in the eye. The three fled with cash.

PERRY ST., 1200 block, 10 p.m. July 7. As a female entered an apartment building hallway, a man knocked on the door behind her. She let him into the building, and he demanded property, taking her tote bag, a purse, a cell phone, a wallet, cash, a license and credit cards.

RHODE ISLAND AVE., 200 block, 7:12 p.m. July 5. A man in a home grabbed an acquaintance by the hair, cut his neck with a knife and demanded money. During a struggle for the knife, the victim was cut again on the chest.

RHODE ISLAND AVE., 800 block, 11 p.m. July 4. A male ran up to a female pedestrian and snatched her purse containing cash,, makeup and papers.

TRINIDAD AVE., 1700 block, 2:45 p.m. July 6. A male teenager pointed a gun at a male pedestrian and another male teenager took property.

FIRST ST., 4300 block, 1:30 to 1:35 p.m. July 6. A man got out of a vehicle and robbed two 17-year-old girls at gunpoint of cigarettes and other property.

FOURTH AND MORSE STREETS, 9 a.m. July 6. A robbery occurred.

FIFTH ST., 1300 block, 8:20 p.m. July 2. Two males entered a bar or nightclub with guns, told occupants to lie on the floor and took a purse containing cash and an ID. Several gunshots were heard. No injuries were reported.

SIXTH ST., 1000 block, 4 to 7 p.m. Jan. 2. A man on a bike robbed a pedestrian at knifepoint. A man, 20, was arrested.

10TH AND EVARTS STREETS, 10:20 p.m. July 1. A male asked a male pedestrian for a cigarette in front of a store. The pedestrian said he didn't have one. Two more males approached from behind, and the three males beat the pedestrian.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ANACOSTIA AVE., 4100 block, 8 p.m. July 4 to 8 p.m. July 5. A snow-blower was taken from a garage of a home. A basement door was forced.

BENNING RD., 2000 block, 12:30 p.m. July 3 to 9:35 a.m. July 6. Property was taken from a medical facility entered by removing an air conditioner from a second-floor window.

E ST., 600 block, 4:30 p.m. July 2 to 7 p.m. July 3. A man forced a basement door and a main-level rear door at a home and took property, then fled in a white van.

H ST., 1000 block, 8 p.m. July 6 to 10:30 a.m. July 7. Property was taken from a specialty store entered by forcing a hole in the ceiling.

IRVING ST., 2400 block, noon June 25 to 3:15 p.m. July 5. Two VCRs and a set of silverware were taken from a home entered by forcing a rear basement door. The home was ransacked.

LYMAN PL., 1700 block, 6:20 p.m. July 4. A man forced open a rear door of a home and hit a resident in the face, then grabbed a knife and demanded an item. The resident complied. The man took clothing, jewelry, a cell phone, cash and the resident's vehicle.

M ST., 1800 block, 10 a.m. to 6:50 p.m. July 7. A CD player-stereo-TV unit and an electric heater were taken from a home entered by removing an air conditioner from a rear window.

MEADE ST., 4700 block, 12:05 to 12:10 a.m. July 5. A male pried open a rear door of a school with a crowbar and took a snack box, 10 cases of juice, a case of raviolis and 10 boxes of spaghetti.

NEW YORK AVE., 500 block, 9:15 to 9:20 p.m. July 1. Two men forced their way into a hotel or motel room as two people were leaving. The men took a camera, a ring and cash, then fled on foot.

SHERIFF RD., 4800 block, 9:30 p.m. July 5 to 1 a.m. July 6. A DVD player was taken from an occupied home entered by forcing a front door.

TENNESSEE AVE., 500 block, 1 a.m. July 7. A man entered a garage attached to a home and fled -- damaging a window -- when a resident appeared.

WYLIE ST., 1200 block, 12:12 a.m. July 4. A TV-VCR unit was taken from a home entered by breaking a rear window.

11TH ST., 800 block, 10 a.m. July 8. A man broke a lock off an iron gate in an attempt to enter a home. He fled when a resident investigated the noise.

16TH ST., 1200 block, 9 p.m. July 4 to 11:30 a.m. July 5. A man took a female's keys after an argument. The next day, dinnerware, an air conditioner, CDs, DVDs, shoes and papers were stolen from the female's home.

45TH ST., 1000 block, 2:45 p.m. July 2 to 11 p.m. July 3. Three DVD players were taken from a school entered by breaking a second-floor window with a rock.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

DAHLIA ST., 600 block, 11:56 p.m. July 1. A man robbed a female pedestrian of a purse, books, papers and a cell phone at knifepoint. He then unzipped her pants and touched her.

GEORGIA AVE. AND HARVARD ST., 6:50 a.m. June 26. A sexual assault occurred in an alley.

GEORGIA AVE., 2000 block, 10:50 to 11 a.m. July 7. A sexual assault occurred in a medical facility.

GEORGIA AVE., 2500 block, 6:40 p.m. July 2. A man touched a female's buttocks at a swimming pool. A man, 57, was arrested.

KANSAS AVE., 8 a.m. to noon July 5. Two men sexually assaulted a mentally and physically disabled child in a home.

PARK RD., 1700 block, 12:50 to 2 a.m. July 4. A male motorist picked up a female in the 1600 block of Park Road and drove her to an alley, where he sexually assaulted her.

Q ST., 100 block, 10 p.m. July 6 to 2 a.m. July 7. A sexual assault occurred.

ROBBERIES

ALLISON ST., 1400 block, 6:10 p.m. July 4. A man hugged a female in a home and asked why she had turned off her cell phone. He snatched the phone and fled. The female chased and caught him. The man grabbed her by the hair and forced her to the ground.

BILTMORE ST., 1800 block, 10:54 p.m. July 6. Two male teenagers robbed a person of a moped at gunpoint.

COLORADO AVE., 5300 block, 10:30 p.m. July 2. Two males walked behind a male pedestrian. One took medication from his pocket and fled with his companion.

COLUMBIA RD., 1400 block, 12:18 to 1 a.m. July 5. A man held a black plastic bag as if he had a weapon and reached over the counter of a convenience store, taking cash from a cash register.

CONNECTICUT AVE., 1500 block, 12:20 to 12:25 p.m. July 8. An ATM card, a credit card and a driver's license were taken from a purse on a floor in a restaurant while its owner was eating.

CONNECTICUT AVE., 3500 block, 3:35 to 3:40 a.m. July 5. A convenience store was robbed. An arrest was made.

CONNECTICUT AVE., 3900 block, 10:22 p.m. July 4. A man served as a lookout while a second man robbed a pedestrian at knifepoint and a third man robbed another pedestrian at gunpoint. A cell phone, a wallet and a driving permit were taken.

CRESCENT PL., 1600 block, 9:20 p.m. July 7. A man demanded a cigarette and a wallet from a pedestrian, who fled without complying. The robber and a companion fled in the opposite direction.

GEORGIA AVE., 5500 block, 8:30 p.m. July 1. Three people approached a 52-year-old male pedestrian. A man asked the pedestrian for a dollar, then he and a woman hit the pedestrian. A third person grabbed the pedestrian's hip pack.

GEORGIA AVE., 6400 block, 9:38 to 9:39 a.m. July 2. A man gave a bank teller a note demanding money. The teller whispered to a co-worker, "We are being robbed. Hit the alarm." The robber told the teller to hurry, opened a bag and displayed a gun. No further information was available from police.

GIRARD ST., 1400 block, 2:45 to 3:15 a.m. July 4. Two men approached a female after she got out of a cab. One took cash from her hand, lifted his shirt and revealed a gun. He fled with the other man.

I ST., 1200 block, 3:20 p.m. July 7. A female teenager entered a specialty store and browsed for about 45 minutes. She then put an object against a clerk's back and said, "Open the register. Hurry up. Give me the money." No further information was available from police.

KENNEDY ST., 900 block, 1 to 1:15 p.m. July 3. A man asked someone for a quarter at a bus stop. When the person pulled out bills while checking for change, the man snatched the bills and fled.

MERIDIAN PL., 1400 block, 4:30 a.m. July 2. Two gunmen robbed a male pedestrian of a cell phone.

N ST., 2100 block, 12:20 to 12:30 a.m. July 6. A man robbed a pedestrian of a purse, a wallet, credit cards, a license and keys.

N ST., 3200 block, 1:50 a.m. July 2. A woman, 19, was arrested in connection with a robbery.

NORTH CAPITOL AND M STREETS, 2:42 a.m. July 2. A car occupied by two males followed a female in another car and cut her off in traffic. A male in the first car pointed a gun at her and got out, asking "Why won't you talk to us?" No further information was available from police.

O ST., 1200 block, 5:50 to 6:50 a.m. July 6. A robbery occurred in an alley.

S ST., 3600 block, 12:01 a.m. July 6. Two male teenagers got out of a car and pointed guns at a male and a female, demanding property. They took a purse, a wallet, a cell phone and credit cards.

SPRING RD., 1300 block, 5:10 a.m. July 4. Two men forced a pedestrian to the corner of a building and robbed him at gunpoint of papers, a wallet and a permit.

VAN BUREN ST., 500 block, 1:30 a.m. July 4. A gunman grabbed a female pedestrian's arm and said, "Don't scream. Give me your purse." The female complied.

WYOMING AVE., 1900 block, 7:45 to 8:05 a.m. July 5. A man entered a convenience store and pointed his right hand with a black plastic bag over it, saying "Give me the money." He took cash and fled.

FIRST ST., 1900 block, 2:45 a.m. July 6. A man demanded cash from a pedestrian, then punched her, took property from her pocket and fled.

EIGHTH ST., 1300 block, 5:48 to 5:53 p.m. July 5. A robbery occurred on the street.

NINTH ST., 4800 block, 2:15 a.m. June 24. Several people pulled a 44-year-old man from his car and beat him, then took his car.

11TH AND E STREETS, 9:15 p.m. July 3. A man robbed a pedestrian.

14TH AND F STREETS, 3:30 to 3:45 p.m. July 8. A man snatched property from a person waiting at a bus stop.

14TH ST., 2600 block, 12:09 to 12:53 a.m. July 5. A man demanded cash from two pedestrians. They refused. The man and three other men beat them and fled.

16TH ST., 2600 block, 10:28 p.m. July 7. A man entered an apartment building lobby and raised his shirt, showing another male a gun and demanding money. The male complied.

16TH ST., 3000 block, 9:27 to 11:28 p.m. July 6. A male teenager robbed a pedestrian of a cell phone.

16TH ST., 3300 block, 2:15 to 3 a.m. July 4. Two men approached two people from behind in a parking area. One showed a gun and told a female to drop her purse. She complied. The other demanded cash from the other person and pushed him or her to the ground. The robbers fled with a wallet, a purse, credit cards, a cell phone and cash.

17TH AND R STREETS, 4:30 p.m. July 7. Two male teenagers approached a male parking his moped on the sidewalk, and one took the vehicle at gunpoint.

CATHEDRAL AVE., 4500 block, 3:30 p.m. July 1 to 7 a.m. July 2. An air compressor and a miter saw were taken from a home entered by forcing a rear door.

CLIFTON ST., 1300 block, 3:30 to 11:36 a.m. July 5. A satellite radio, a circular saw, electrical tools, jewelry and other property were taken from a home entered by prying a board off a rear third-floor window.

DECATUR ST., 1200 block, 11 p.m. July 2 to 1 a.m. July 3. A black Labrador retriever was taken from a home entered by forcing a yard gate and a basement window.

E ST., 900 block, 5:55 a.m. July 8. Property was taken from a restaurant entered by smashing door glass.

EASTERN AVE., 7700 block, 4:30 p.m. July 2 to 2 p.m. July 3. A snow blower and a weed trimmer were taken from a storage shed.

F ST., 1400 block, 6:34 a.m. July 7. Property was taken from an office building entered by smashing a front glass door.

GEORGIA AVE., 5300 block, 4:30 p.m. July 1 to 9:30 a.m. July 6. A stereo system was taken from a specialty store entered by forcing a front door.

HARVARD ST., 1300 block, 12:15 p.m. July 8. A male who identified himself as a D.C. fire inspector was allowed into an apartment. He told a resident to stay outside a bedroom door while he went inside and closed the door. No further information was available from police.

HUNTINGTON ST., 3700 block, 11 to 11:05 p.m. July 4. An arrest was made in connection with an illegal entry and/or burglary of a home.

IRVING ST., 600 block, noon to 8:18 p.m. July 6. A flat screen TV was taken from a home entered by prying a rear basement door.

JEFFERSON ST., 300 block, 7:30 to 8:07 p.m. July 3. A VCR-DVD unit was taken from a home entered by destroying a rear door.

K ST., 1100 block, 2:30 p.m. July 2 to 5:15 a.m. July 6. Property was taken from a construction site entered by jumping over a fence and prying a lock.

KENNEDY ST., 200 block, 3 to 3:10 a.m. July 5. A dental clinic was entered by smashing a front glass door with a rock. Cabinets and drawers were opened. Nothing was reported stolen.

LEGATION ST., 3900 block, 10:15 to 10:25 p.m. July 4. A resident of a home found a male intruder in his bathroom. The intruder said he was only there to use the bathroom. The resident told him to leave, and the intruder walked out the back door.

LOWELL ST., 3400 block, 10 p.m. July 4 to 8 a.m. July 5. A bike was taken from a garage. A vehicle was also entered in an attempt to steal the radio. The glove box was damaged.

M ST., 1300 block, 4:30 p.m. July 2 to 6 a.m. July 6. Two chains, a padlock and a portable generator were taken from a construction site.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE., 4900 block, 5:30 p.m. June 29 to 7:15 a.m. June 30. A computer and an antenna were taken from a medical facility.

PATTERSON ST., 23600 block, 3 p.m. July 2. A TV, a fax machine, a CD player, power tools and other property were taken from a home under construction entered by forcing a rear basement door.

POTOMAC ST., 1200 block, 10:44 to 10:45 p.m. July 8. A bike was taken from a garage.

S ST., 1800 block, 7 a.m. June 17 to 9:45 a.m. July 5. Jukeboxes, a motorcycle jacket, a helmet, a computer, a bike, an MP3 player and speakers were taken from a garage.

SPRING RD., 1300 block, 10 to 10:15 a.m. July 3. Rings, chains, a bracelet, sneakers and a satellite dish were taken from a home entered through an unlocked basement window.

TILDEN ST., 2900 block, 11:30 p.m. July 7 to 7 a.m. July 8. A TV and a video-game system were taken from an occupied home.

FOURTH ST., 5400 block, 1:30 to 9:20 p.m. July 6. A stereo, a video-game system, 12 DVDs and games were taken from a home entered by breaking a rear window.

FIFTH ST., 1300 block, 2:40 p.m. July 7 to 6 a.m. July 8. An apartment door was pried open, and the residence was ransacked.

13TH ST., 3400 block, 11:50 a.m. July 6. A VCR was taken from a home entered by kicking a rear kitchen door.

13TH ST., 3800 block, 6 a.m. July 4. A female kicked open a bedroom door and bit and scratch a male acquaintance and another female. All three were arrested.

13TH ST., 6000 block, 9:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 6. A video camera was taken from a home entered through a rear kitchen window.

20TH ST., 2400 block, 11:30 p.m. July 5. A man entered a home through a kitchen door and took a laptop computer and a bag.

30TH ST., 1100 block, 7 p.m. July 2 to 9 a.m. July 5. Two TVs were taken from an office building.

31ST ST., 1000 block, 6 p.m. July 2. Five laptop computers were taken from an office building entered by prying a front door.

HOMICIDES

ATLANTIC ST., 400 block, 1:25 a.m. July 5. Terrance C. Sanders, 24, of the 5900 block of St. Moritz Drive, Temple Hills, was found in a car with gunshot wounds. He was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 2:03 a.m.

MELLON ST., 500 block, 3:05 a.m. July 3. Anthony D. Brown Jr., 22, of the 9900 block of Moreland Street, Fort Washington, was found on a street with a gunshot wound to the head. He was taken to Howard University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 4:35 a.m.

VARNEY ST., 900 block, 7:05 a.m. July 7. An unidentified male was found on a street with gunshot wounds. He was taken to Howard University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

ROBBERIES

ALABAMA AVE. AND WHEELER RD., 6:50 a.m. July 3. A male in a car pulled up next to another car and told the driver, a 23-year-old woman, that she had a flat tire. When the woman got out to check, he pushed her to the ground and took her car.

ALABAMA AVE., 2500 block, 12:30 a.m. July 1. Three males attacked a 40-year-old male pedestrian and tried to take his backpack. They fled when he fought back.

ALABAMA AVE., 2800 block, 8:40 p.m. Jan. 28. Two male teenagers in a parking area approached a female loading her car with packages. One male demanded keys. The female screamed, and the teenagers walked away.

ALABAMA AVE., 3100 block, 10:30 p.m. May 21. A 46-year-old man pushed a female acquaintance to the ground in a parking lot outside a store. He took her purse and fled.

BELLEVUE ST., 900 block, 12:05 a.m. July 6. A robbery occurred on a sidewalk.

BROTHERS PL., 3300 block, 5:30 a.m. July 7. A man got out of a car and snatched a purse from a 60-year-old pedestrian, then fled in the vehicle.

BRUCE PL., 2700 block, 5 a.m. July 7. A male robbed a 22-year-old male pedestrian at gunpoint and walked away.

BRUCE PL., 2700 block, 5 a.m. July 7. A male approached a 37-year-old female pedestrian from behind and put a gun to her head. He took property and fled.

BRUCE PL., 3100 block, 2 p.m. July 3. A boy, accompanied by two others, robbed a mentally disabled 17-year-old male pedestrian of a video game.

BRUCE PL., 3100 block, 10 p.m. July 5. A man asked a 46-year-old woman for money in a parking area. She said she had none. The man said he could search her, then punched her. The woman tried to run away, but the man chased her and continued to punch her.

BURNS ST., 900 block, 8:30 to 8:35 p.m. July 5. A motor scooter was taken when the owner dismounted and someone hit him in the face with an object and rode away.

G ST., 600 block, 11:35 p.m. July 3. A gunman robbed five pedestrians of three purses, two cell phones and credit cards.

HALF ST., 1300 block, 2:15 a.m. July 5. A man snatched a purse from the ground next to a female loading items into her car.

MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. AVE., 2000 block, 8:35 a.m. July 2. A man asked a 37-year-old woman for a cigarette in an office building. When the woman opened her purse, he snatched her wallet.

MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. AVE., 2400 block, 11:20 p.m. July 3. Three male teenagers robbed a 48-year-old deliveryman of food.

MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. AVE., 3100 block, 7:40 p.m. July 4. A man robbed a 24-year-old man of cash at knifepoint at a service station. A man, 43, was arrested.

RIDGE RD., 400 block, 4:30 to 4:35 a.m. June 13. Three males got out of a vehicle, punched a male pedestrian and hit him with guns until he passed out. When the pedestrian revived, cash was missing.

WHEELER RD., 3500 block, 12:30 a.m. July 3. Two male teenagers approached a 54-year-old male driver of a car stopped at a traffic light. One drew a gun and said, "Empty your pockets." The man refused but told the teenagers to take his car, which they did.

YUMA ST., 800 block, 5:30 p.m. July 3. Two men approached a 59-year-old pedestrian from behind and one snatched a purse from her hand.

SECOND ST., 3700 block, 7:50 a.m. July 3. A boy got out of a vehicle and approached a 32-year-old man getting out of another vehicle, held a knife to his throat and demanded cash. Another male got out of the first car and took the man's wallet and license.

SEVENTH ST., 200 block, 1 p.m. July 2. Two boys asked a female for cash as she ate lunch on a restaurant patio. When the female refused, one boy snatched her purse. Two boys, 12, were arrested.

16TH AND FRANKFORD STREETS, 10:10 p.m. July 4. A male robbed a 41-year-old man of keys at gunpoint and took his car.

18TH AND SAVANNAH STREETS, 1:15 a.m. June 26. Three males robbed two 18-year-olds at gunpoint in a park area.

31ST ST., 2800 block, 8 to 8:05 p.m. July 5. A male teenager rode up to former schoolmate on a bicycle and snatched a cell phone.

D ST., 1500 block, 6 p.m. June 30 to 8 a.m. July 6. Property was taken from a home entered by forcing a back door.

GOOD HOPE RD., 2300 block, noon to 4 p.m. June 23. A DVD player was taken from an apartment entered by prying a lock on a front door.

HALLEY TER., 3800 block, noon July 2 to 6 a.m. July 6. An air compressor, a lawn mower, two saws, a copper pipe and other property were taken from a construction site entered by forcing a front door.

HILLSIDE RD., 4600 block, 4 p.m. May 28 to noon May 31. Three brass ceiling fans were taken from a home entered through a bathroom window.

worship.

JASPER RD., 2800 block, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. May 24. A laptop computer and a printer were taken from an apartment entered by forcing a door.

KENTUCKY AVE., 200 block, 6 p.m. July 2 to 3 p.m. July 5. Property was taken from a shed entered by cutting a lock.

LANGSTON PL., 2700 block, 12:01 a.m. July 3. A 27-year-old woman noticed a man tampering with a lock on a door of her home and told him to leave. The man forced open the door, choked her and fled when she shouted for help.

LANGSTON PL., 2800 block, 7 to 7:30 p.m. July 4. A man entered a home by forcing a door. A 56-year-old woman ran to a bathroom, and the man kicked open the door and forced her to the floor. Witnesses helped the woman, and the man broke a window to escape. A man, 31, was arrested.

MALCOLM X AVE., 700 block, 2:35 a.m. July 2. A 27-year-old man entered the home of a 32-year-old female acquaintance and woke her, standing over her bed holding a knife. He said, "If you scream, you're done." A noise from another bedroom then surprised him, and he fled.

MALCOLM X AVE., 700 block, 4:43 a.m. July 2. Two residents awoke in a home when their security alarm sounded. One saw three males fleeing through a bedroom window. Two males, 27 and 24, were arrested.

MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. AVE., 3200 block, 1 p.m. June 30 to 3:30 p.m. July 5. An air conditioner, a dining chair and an office chair were taken from a home entered by prying a front door.

NAYLOR RD., 1900 block, 3 to 7 a.m. July 7. A TV was taken from an apartment entered by climbing a ladder to a second-floor living room window and pushing an air conditioner into the room. The burglar left by breaking a front-door lock with a screwdriver.

NAYLOR RD., 2800 block, 7:40 a.m. to 8 p.m. July 1. A computer and a printer were taken from an apartment entered with a key.

STANTON RD., 3200 block, 5 p.m. July 2 to 7:30 a.m. July 6. Three computers, telephones, a DVD player, board games, footballs and a basketball were taken from a school.

VALLEY AVE., 400 block, 8 p.m. July 3. A watch, a video-game system, games and a cell phone were taken from a home entered through a bedroom window.

SIXTH ST., 4200 block, 7:30 p.m. July 2 to 6 a.m. July 7. A tape recorder, a TV, four computers, an intercom system and other property were taken from a building entered through a rear door. Cash and sodas were taken from a vending machine.

17TH ST., 200 block, 1:30 a.m. July 2. Property was taken from a home entered through an unlocked back door. Some property was found in the back yard.

31ST ST., 1000 block, 8:45 a.m. to 2:25 p.m. July 4. Coins were taken from a home. A living room window and locks on front and rear doors were broken.

37TH PL., 400 block, 2 to 4:20 p.m. June 11. Cash and a motorbike were taken from an apartment entered by prying a lock off a front door.

SECOND ST., 1500 block, 8:30 a.m. July 4. A sexual assault occurred in a home.

ROBBERIES

M ST., 300 block, 2 a.m. June 30. A male teenager in a taxi put a knife to the driver's neck and told him to get out or he would cut his throat. The driver complied, and the teenager fled with two other people in the taxi. A male, 17, was arrested.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

FIRST ST., 1400 block, 6 a.m. July 1. A female teenager entered a home by picking and forcing a front-door lock. Nothing was reported missing.
