Columbia Area

ROBBERIES

CEDAR LANE, 5000 block, 10:56 to 11:17 p.m. July 11. Three males demanded cash from a male. The male pulled out a cell phone and dialed 911. The robbers fled empty-handed.

ROUTE 29 FOOTBRIDGE, 6:13 p.m. July 13. Four males on a path accosted two pedestrians. One of the pedestrians was struck in the face and robbed of a dollar.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BLUE HERON LANE, 5400 block, 7 p.m. July 10 to 5:45 a.m. July 11. A work trailer at an elementary school was entered and vandalized with a soap product. The school was also entered. Nothing was reported stolen.

BROOK WAY, 5300 block, 10:44 a.m. July 7. An air-conditioning unit, clothes and tools were stolen from an apartment entered by kicking in a front door. The apartment's tenants were in the process of moving from the apartment during the time of the theft.

LITTLE PATUXENT PKWY., 11300 block, noon to 9 p.m. July 10. Video electronics were stolen from an apartment entered through a sliding glass back door.

SUNNY SPRING, 6100 block, 2:18 a.m. July 14. Ice cream was stolen from a snack bar at a neighborhood pool.

SYMPHONY WOODS RD., 5900 block, 7 p.m. July 9 to 8:42 a.m. July 12. Laptop computers were stolen from two offices.

TAMAR DR., 8900 block, July 8. An apartment was entered. Nothing was reported stolen.

WATCH CHAIN WAY, 6100 block, 3:15 to 3:30 a.m. July 10. Bicycles were stolen from a residential garage entered using a remote-control garage-door opener that was stolen from a vehicle.

AIRYBRINK LANE, 8700 block, 11:49 a.m. July 12. A gray Toyota Camry was stolen.

ANGELINA CIR., 9500 block, 6:15 a.m. July 9. A blue 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche was stolen.

BROKEN LAND PARKWAY AND ROUTE 32, June 29 to July 14. A silver 1999 Nissan Sentra was stolen.

EARLY APRIL WAY, 8900 block, 8 p.m. July 12 to 4:24 p.m. July 13. A 2001 Yamaha motorcycle was stolen.

FERN CT., 5900 block, 8:30 p.m. July 8 to 7:54 a.m. July 9. A black 1993 Honda Civic was stolen.

GUILFORD RD., 8600 block, 9:39 a.m. July 8. An attempt was made to steal a white 1992 Ford pickup truck.

POWDER RUN, 11200 block, 8:26 p.m. July 9. A Dodge Caravan was stolen.

STEBBING WAY, 9000 block, 11:15 p.m. July 8 to 7:54 a.m. July 9. A black 2000 Honda Civic was stolen.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

LAWYERS HILL RD., 6300 block, 7:45 a.m. to 8:55 p.m. July 11. An electric scooter and lawn equipment were stolen from a shed.

LOUDON AVE., 6400 block, 6 p.m. July 10 to 11 a.m. July 11. A back-door screen was removed and a window was open at a vacant building undergoing renovations. Nothing was reported stolen.

OLD WATERLOO RD., 6500 block, 5:08 a.m. July 8. Cigarettes and delicatessen products were stolen from a delicatessen entered by smashing a front door glass.

SETTER DR., 5900 block, 7 p.m. July 9 to 11:45 a.m. July 10. A church was entered through a window. Nothing was reported stolen.

ATHOL AVE., 6600 block, 9:48 a.m. July 13. A 1988 Toyota pickup truck was stolen.

BROOKDALE DR., 7100 block, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. July 6. A silver 2001 Honda Civic was stolen.

INDECENT EXPOSURE

FREDERICK RD., 9400 block, 4:38 p.m. July 13. A male was seen fondling himself while using a computer at a library.

AUTUMN BRANCH LANE, 3000 block, 10:22 p.m. July 12. Video electronics were stolen from a business entered through a maintenance shop side window.

FOXHILL CT., 9900 block, 10 p.m. July 5 to 2 p.m. July 7. A bicycle was stolen from a residential garage.

HOUND HILL CT., 5400 block, 11:30 p.m. July 10 to 7:05 a.m. July 11. A purse and video equipment were stolen from a residence. A vehicle at the residence was also entered.

MOUNT IDA DR., 3500 block, 7:30 p.m. July 6 to 3:30 p.m. July 11. A residence was entered by forcing a basement back door. Nothing was reported stolen.

NORBERTS WAY, 3000 block, 4 p.m. July 9 to noon July 10. Candy was stolen from a snack bar entered by forcing a door.

PEBBLE BEACH DR., 2800 block, 3 to 3:30 p.m. July 9. Tools were stolen from an open residential garage.

A dark-green Chevrolet pickup truck was stolen.

BOLD VENTURE DR., 13700 block, 11:10 p.m. July 10 to 11:10 p.m. July 11. An attempt was made to enter a residence by smashing a basement back door glass.

Jessup Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ROUTE 1, 7900 block, 1:02 a.m. July 8. Cash and cigarettes were stolen from a business entered by breaking a front window. Police were alerted and stopped a vehicle nearby. A woman, 36, and a man, 23, were arrested. Cash was recovered.

Laurel Area

ROBBERIES

GORMAN RD., 8000 block, 1:52 p.m. July 11. A male in a bank asked a clerk about an application form and a second male pulled out a handgun and demanded the clerk to open a cash register. The clerk complied. The robbers and a third male fled with cash.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CARDINAL FOREST CIR., 8700 block, 11:19 a.m. July 12. An unoccupied residence was entered. Nothing was reported stolen.

LAUREL RD. N., 9200 block, 4 p.m. July 12 to 5:51 a.m. July 13. Power tools were stolen from a construction-site trailer at an elementary school.

OLD LANTERN WAY, 9200 block, 9 to 9:15 a.m. July 10. A silver 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier was stolen.

ROUTE 1, 9400 block, 10 to 11 p.m. July 10. Tools were stolen from a vehicle parked at a business and an attempt was made to enter a shed.

COVERED WAGON DR., 9700 block, 8:39 a.m. July 12. A Mitsubishi Diamante was stolen.
