Ashburn Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

COLTSFOOT TER., 20000 block, 4 p.m. July 20 to 6 a.m. July 21. Exercise equipment was stolen from a fitness center.

DOWNINGTON CT., 43000 block, 5 p.m. July 16 to 1 a.m. July 17. A gas grill was stolen from a deck at a residence.

GATWICK SQ., 43000 block, midnight July 14 to 8:30 a.m. July 15. Cash, credit cards and a purse were stolen from a vehicle entered by damaging a window and a door.

TILLMAN TER., 44000 block, 8 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. July 17. CDs were stolen from a vehicle.

WINDMILL DR., 21000 block, 8:30 p.m. July 13 to 2:30 p.m. July 16. Cash, packs of soda and video games were stolen from a concession stand.

VANDALISM

FINCASTLE DR., 44000 block, 4 p.m. July 15 to 7:11 a.m. July 16. A window at a building was damaged.

HAY RD., 43000 block, 5:10 p.m. July 15. A stone sign at a school was marred with paint.

HAY RD., 43000 block, 2 p.m. July 15 to 6:45 a.m. July 17. A school bus was entered, and a fire extinguisher was discharged.

Hamilton Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

HAMPTON RD., 16000 block, 6:20 to 7:20 a.m. July 18. A farm sign was stolen.

IRENE RD., 39000 block, 9 p.m. July 13 to 6:50 a.m. July 14. A business was entered by damaging a window. Nothing was reported stolen.

VANDALISM

DIGGS VALLEY RD., 39000 block, 6 p.m. July 19 to 8:50 a.m. July 20. A vehicle window was damaged.

Leesburg Area

ASSAULTS

OATLANDS MILL RD., 40000 block, 2 to 2:10 a.m. July 22. A 31-year-old Woodbridge man was cut several times during an argument. A Silver Spring man was arrested and charged with malicious wounding.

Lovettsville Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

QUARTER BRANCH RD., 40000 block, 11 a.m. to noon July 17. A farm sign was stolen.

Round Hill Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

MARBURY STREET, 5 p.m. July 13 to 5:30 a.m. July 14. Tools were stolen from a storage container at a construction site.

South Riding Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

FREDA LANE, 25000 block, July 11 to July 15. A gun was stolen from a garage.

VANDALISM

LOGANSHIRE TER., 25000 block, 8 p.m. July 18 to 9 a.m. July 19. A vehicle hood was marred with graffiti.

STONEWALL POND STREET AND SOUTH RIDING BOULEVARD, 9 p.m. July 17 to 7 a.m. July 18. Eight vehicles were scratched, and antennas were damaged. A mailbox, four street signs and flowerpots were also damaged.

Sterling Area

ASSAULTS

CONCORD CT. N., 700 block, 6:55 p.m. July 19. Three men accosted a 16-year-old male cyclist and assaulted him. The cyclist reportedly declined treatment.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

SUGARLAND SQ., 1 to 100 block, July 15 or July 16. Two speakers were stolen from a vehicle.

VANDALISM

SHAW RD., 500 block, 2 to 5 p.m. July 21. A vehicle window was damaged.

Waterford Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BARLOW DR., 15000 block, 5 p.m. July 18 to 7 a.m. July 20. Lumber was stolen from a construction site.
