BESTGATE RD., 700 block, 3:51 a.m. July 13. Property was stolen from a business entered through an unlocked front window.

VALLEY RD., 1900 block, 5:24 p.m. July 18. Property was stolen from a business entered by breaking a side window.

WASHINGTON DR., 1300 block, July 17. A bicycle, lawn equipment and other items were stolen from a residence entered through a door.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BAY HILLS DR., 500 block, 9:15 p.m. July 12 to 5:30 a.m. July 13. Property was stolen from a business entered by forcing a door.

MILL CREEK RD., 800 block, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. July 12. A residence was entered by forcing a side door. Nothing was reported missing.

Baltimore Area

ROBBERIES

RITCHIE HWY., 4900 block, 2:32 a.m. July 22. A woman walking to her room at a motel was robbed of her purse and duffel bag by a gunman wearing a dark blue T-shirt wrapped around his face. He fled through an alley.

Brooklyn Park Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

DORIS AVE., 400 block, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 17. Cash, jewelry, a radio, audio recordings, video games and equipment were stolen from a residence entered by breaking a front glass door.

HAMMONDS LANE, 1800 block, 9 p.m. July 15 to 6:15 p.m. July 16. A VCR was stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked side door.

PATRICK HENRY DR., 5200 block, 5:12 p.m. July 13. A residence was entered by cutting a door lock. Nothing was reported missing.

RITCHIE HWY. S., 5600 block, 11:15 p.m. July 12 to 9:06 a.m. July 13. Cash was stolen from a residence.

HAREWOOD LANE, 1800 block, 1:10 to 2:30 p.m. July 12. Two residences were entered by forcing a front door. Nothing was reported missing.

ROUTE 3 N., 1600 block, 4:04 a.m. July 13. Tobacco products and liquor were stolen from a business entered by breaking a front glass door.

TARLETON WAY, 1600 block, 10 to 11:51 a.m. June 13. Cash was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a rear door.

PATUXENT RIVER RD., 3700 block, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 15. Firearms were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a rear door.

BRASS HORN LANE, 8000 block, 6:43 p.m. July 15. A bicycle was stolen from a residence. A 13-year-old boy was charged.

GLEN VIEW AVE., 600 block, July 12. A residence was entered by cutting a door lock. Nothing was reported missing.

HANCOCK LANE, 7700 block, 6:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 14. Jewelry, audio recordings and video games and equipment were stolen from a residence.

OPEL RD., 600 block, 8 to 5:45 a.m. July 12. Drugs and sporting equipment were stolen from a residence entered through a rear door.

QUARTERFIELD RD., 7600 block, 5:15 a.m. July 13. Cash was stolen from a residence entered through a rear door.

ROOTS DR., 6400 block, 9:30 a.m. July 14. A business was entered through an unlocked rear door. Nothing was reported missing.

SECOND AVE. NW, 600 block, 4:26 a.m. July 12. A residence was entered by cutting a door lock. Nothing was reported missing.

Hanover Area

ASSAULTS

REAVIS RD., 100 block, 7:07 p.m. July 18. A woman fled her residence after a male relative assaulted her and forced her to the floor. The man, reportedly intoxicated, then locked himself in the house with a 1-year-old relative. Police negotiators persuaded the man to leave the residence. He was arrested and charged with second-degree assault. No injuries were reported to the child. The woman reportedly declined medical treatment.

ROBBERIES

FAIRBANKS DR., 1400 block, June 18. Three males in a Pontiac Bonneville stopped and asked directions of the driver of a Honda Civic. Two males then got out of the Pontiac and implied that they had a weapon. They robbed the motorist and other passengers in the Honda of cell phones, keys and money, and one robber drove the Honda away. Police tried to stop the Honda at Dorsey Road and Route 170, but the carjacker continued until he crashed into another vehicle and then a building at St. Paul and Center streets in Baltimore. The drivers of both vehicles were taken to a hospital. Police recovered an electronic stun gun at the scene of the accident.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ARUNDEL MILLS BLVD., 7000 block, 7:04 a.m. July 15. Two men broke into a jewelry store in a shopping mall by cutting a metal gate. The men took jewelry from several display cases and left the parking lot in a white mini-van with a rear raised roof.

Laurel Area

ASSAULTS

LAUREL FORT MEADE RD., 3300 block, July 20. A motorist was sitting in his gold 1997 Kia Sophia when a couple got into his car and grabbed him. He pulled out a steak knife to defend himself but was stabbed with the knife in the shoulder by the female during a struggle for the weapon. The couple chased the motorist from his car and then fled in it. The motorist was treated at a hospital.

ROBBERIES

LAUREL FORT MEADE RD., 3400 block, 9:15 p.m. July 20. Two males, one armed with a small silver gun, entered a convenience store. The gunman demanded money, and his accomplice reached over the counter and took cash from two cash registers. The two males grabbed instant lottery tickets on their way out and fled in a car.

OLD ANNAPOLIS RD., 3500 block, 1:30 p.m. July 18. Computer equipment was stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked front door.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

MILLERSVILLE RD., 1700 block, 8:42 p.m. July 12. Cash was stolen from a business entered by breaking a front glass door.

VETERANS HWY., 8600 block, 11:37 p.m. July 12. An attempt was made to enter a business.

Pasadena Area

ROBBERIES

RITCHIE HWY., 8100 block, 4:13 p.m. July 19. A gunman robbed a beauty supply business of cash after tying the hands of one employee with electrical tape and forcing another employee to open a cash register. He then forced the employees into a bathroom, took cash from the register and removed items from the victims' purses. The gunman -- wearing a red bandanna and carrying a black backpack -- fled out a rear door.

BODKIN AVE., 8200 block, July 17. A bicycle, tools and lawn equipment were stolen from a residence.

EAST RD., 7800 block, July 12 to July 15. Property was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a front door.

FOX HOLLOW RUN, 1800 block, 7 p.m. July 16 to 9:15 a.m. July 18. Equipment and other items were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked door.

OUTING AVE., 7800 block, 8 a.m. July 8 to 4 p.m. July 12. Video games and equipment were stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

SOUTH CAROLINA AVE., 200 block, 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. July 12. Property was stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked front door.

SUTTON WICK PL., 200 block, July 5 to July 6. IDs were stolen from a business entered through a front door.

202ND ST., 700 block, 4:30 p.m. July 12 to 6:30 a.m. July 14. A residence was entered by forcing a door. Nothing was reported missing.

205TH ST., 700 block, 10 p.m. July 16 to 10:30 a.m. July 17. A motorcycle, audio recordings and other property were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a door.

219TH ST., 700 block, July 12 to July 13. Tools were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked door.

BUCKINGHAM DR., 800 block, 2:50 p.m. July 13. A residence was entered by forcing a front door. Nothing was reported missing.

FRANWIL CT., 100 block, 12:30 a.m. July 16. A residence was entered through an unlocked door. Nothing was reported missing.

MCKINSEY RD., 100 block, 11 a.m. July 1 to 8:40 p.m. July 13. Jewelry and other items were stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

TELEGRAPH RD., 7800 block, July 17. Cash was stolen from a business entered by forcing a front door.
