SEXUAL ASSAULTS

JAY ST., 3600-4000 block, 12:01 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. July 24. A sexual assault occurred in a home.

ROBBERIES

CLAY PL., 3300 block, 10 to 10:03 p.m. July 14. A male motorist offered a female a ride at 21st Street and Benning Road NE. She accepted and got into the vehicle. The man then asked for money, and she refused. When she got out, he followed her, shouted at her, pulled her hair and pushed her to the ground, taking a purse and a cigarette lighter.

H ST., 600 block, 3:45 a.m. July 9. A male pedestrian was knocked down and robbed of property after three men approached.

MORSE ST., 300 block, 4:30 a.m. July 9. A robbery occurred in a parking area.

NANNIE HELEN BURROUGHS AVE., 4600 block, 10 p.m. July 13. A gunman approached two people from the rear in a parking area and robbed them of two purses, a credit card and an insurance card. He fled into a wooded area.

OKIE ST., 1300 block, 3 a.m. July 9. A man took a wallet, a Social Security card, a bank card, a birth certificate and cash during a robbery at a bank.

OKLAHOMA AVE., 400 block, 9:48 p.m. July 14. A man and a woman approached an acquaintance on the street. The man pointed a gun at the person's head and said, "Give me your money." The woman then searched the person's pockets and took his or her wallet. The couple then fled.

ROCK CREEK CHURCH RD., 5300 block, 8:30 p.m. May 10. Two men approached a male on the street and asked for change for a dollar. When he refused, one of the men drew a knife and said, "You are not going anywhere." The other man kicked the male in the groin, causing him to fall unconscious.

WEST VIRGINIA AVE., 1700 block, 3:35 a.m. July 15. Four men dragged a male into an alley and beat him, taking cash and stripping him of his clothes. The male escaped and called police.

12TH ST., 2800 block, 4:46 a.m. July 13. When a person walked up to a clerk's window at a gas station to buy a drink, a gunman demanded cash. No further information was available from police.

40TH ST., 300 block, 6:42 to 6:44 a.m. July 9. A male pushed a cashier in a grocery store as the cashier was giving change to a customer, then took money from the cash register.

42ND ST., 200 block, 9:45 to 9:50 p.m. July 12. A gunman and another male robbed a female pedestrian of a cell phone, a Social Security card, a purse, a driver's license and a bank card.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BAKER ST., 3300 block, 1 to 1:20 p.m. July 13. Three or four male teenagers entered a home through an unlocked front door or open side window. They took a computer bag, a gym bag, 150 DVDs, a telephone, a DVD player, a VCR/DVD unit, 80 video games, two video-game systems, two game consoles and other property.

BENNING RD., 1600 block, 5:50 to 6:25 p.m. July 8. Property was taken from a medical facility entered by forcing a front door.

BERRY RD., 3100 block, 11 p.m. July 14 to 1:30 p.m. July 15. A saw was taken from a home entered through an upper-bedroom window.

BLADENSBURG RD., 1000 block, 8 p.m. July 10 to 8:40 a.m. July 11. Cash and cigarettes were taken from a convenience store entered by forcing a fan port.

BLADENSBURG RD. NE, 1900 block, 3 to 3:30 p.m. July 13. A male took his vehicle to a mechanic shop for repairs. When he returned to pick up his vehicle, a witness told him that someone had stolen it.

BLAINE ST., 5300 block, 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. July 12. A laptop computer was taken from a house entered through a second-floor window.

CLAY TER., 5300 block, 5:10 to 6:30 p.m. July 11. A stereo, a pair of sneakers and a DVD player were taken from a home entered through an open second-floor window.

EADS ST., 4500 block, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. July 14. Gold jewelry was taken from a home entered by forcing a front door.

EADS ST., 5600 block, 8:20 to 8:45 p.m. June 10. Three boys entered a school through a roof hatch and took drinks and coins from a vending machine in a teachers' lounge.

G ST., 1000 block, 9:45 to 11:05 p.m. July 9. Cash and three laptop computers were taken from a home.

H ST., 1300 block, 5:30 p.m. July 11 to 10:30 a.m. July 12. Property was taken from an office in a restaurant. The restaurant was entered by unknown means, and the office door was forced.

I ST., 1100 block, 8:20 a.m. to 6:50 p.m. July 9. Property was taken from a home entered by opening a rear kitchen window, kicking out a screen and using a porch table to climb through the window.

KENILWORTH AVE., 1300 block, 2 to 7 a.m. July 11. Property was taken and three bottles of juice were broken after a convenience store was entered by cutting a padlock off a door.

KENILWORTH AVE., 1400 block, 11:30 p.m. July 11 to 12:47 a.m. July 12. A man climbed a fence at a construction site and took tools from a company truck. A man, 47, was arrested.

LINCOLN RD., 1600 block, 7 p.m. July 9 to 6 a.m. July 11. Two saws and a drill were taken from a home entered by breaking a side window.

M ST., 600 block, 11 p.m. July 11 to 10:50 p.m. July 13. A doorknob was pried off and a deadbolt was damaged in an attempt to enter a home.

MEADE ST., 4700 block, 3 p.m. July 10 to 8 a.m. July 12. Oatmeal cookies were taken from a school entered by breaking a kitchen window. An alarm panel was pulled away from a wall.

RHODE ISLAND AVE., 3000 block, 9 p.m. July 12 to 9:30 a.m. July 13. Tools and a VCR were taken from a service station entered by forcing a wood panel from a bay door.

RHODE ISLAND AVE., 1-99 block, 3 p.m. July 13. A boy entered an occupied home through an open rear door and took a purse containing cash.

VARNUM ST., 100 block, 8 p.m. July 6 to 7 a.m. July 11. A safe and two money orders were taken from a home.

FIFTH ST., 1100 block, 5:30 p.m. July 10 to 9:45 a.m. July 11. A man kicked in a rear window of a home, entered and took four saws, a nail gun, a drill, a radio and other property.

FIFTH ST., 1300 block, 5:45 p.m. July 14 to 6 a.m. July 15. A building was entered by forcing a rear roll-up door. Fifteen 25-pound bags of rice and 25 50-pound bags of rice were taken.

12TH ST., 900 block, 6:45 p.m. July 9 to 10:30 a.m. July 10. A computer, a monitor, three TVs and a CD player were taken from an office building entered by pulling bars off a window.

47TH ST., 1-99 block, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 14. A cell phone was taken from a home entered by breaking a rear window.

Northwest

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

GEORGIA AVENUE AND KENYON STREET, 6 a.m. July 11. A man approached a female pedestrian at a bus stop and asked whether she was from El Salvador or Honduras. She said El Salvador. The man then showed a knife and told her to walk with him, threatening to stab her if she screamed. No further information was available from police.

MISSOURI AVE., 3 a.m. July 14. A man fondled a sleeping juvenile in a bed. A person who witnessed the incident called police. A man, 51, was arrested.

NINTH ST., 4000 block, 4:20 p.m. July 12. A sexual assault occurred.

ROBBERIES

ARKANSAS AVE., 4400 block, 2:30 a.m. July 14. Two males got out of a vehicle occupied by two other males and knocked a 27-year-old man off a bicycle. They punched and kicked him, causing injuries, and took a wallet, a cell phone, a work permit and a Social Security card.

CHAPIN ST., 1400 block, 2:56 a.m. July 10. A male teenager tried to take a wallet from a male's pants pocket in an alley. When he asked, "What are you doing?" another male teenager knocked him down. One of the teenagers then kicked the male in the face and took his wallet.

CLYDESDALE PL., 1800 block, 12:40 a.m. July 11. A gunman robbed a female pedestrian of a purse, a wallet, three credit cards, a D.C. permit and a cell phone. He fled on foot.

COLUMBIA RD., 1700 block, 5:24 p.m. July 14. A male asked a police officer or security guard for a quarter in an aggressive manner on the sidewalk. When the officer refused, the male pushed the officer in the chest in an attempt to get money. A male was arrested.

EUCLID ST., 1400 block, 3 a.m. July 11. Two men approached a pedestrian from behind and demanded money. The pedestrian did not comply, so one of the men grabbed him by the neck while the other took a wallet from his pocket.

GEORGIA AVE., 7400 block, 10:15 to 10:16 p.m. July 9. A man grabbed someone from behind in a home and pushed him or her to the floor. Another man pointed a knife at the person and ripped his or her wallet from a rear pocket. The two men fled together.

L ST., 1300 block, 3:40 a.m. July 9. Two men robbed a person at gunpoint of a vehicle, a cell phone, a watch, a diamond necklace and a wallet.

L ST., 1500 block, 5 to 5:12 a.m. July 10. Two males asked two pedestrians for cash, then beat them. One pedestrian fell, and the robbers took items from his pants pocket.

L ST., 1800 block, 11:10 a.m. July 12. A man gave a note demanding money to a teller in a bank. The teller complied, and the robber walked away.

M ST., 2900 block, 3:41 to 3:45 a.m. July 13. A male grabbed another male who was sleeping on the sidewalk and took property from his pants pocket.

MISSOURI AVE., 1300 block, 10:30 p.m. July 12. Three males assaulted a male resident in the laundry room of an apartment building. One sprayed him in the face with a chemical and two hit and kicked him. They fled with a cell phone.

NEW HAMPSHIRE AVE., 3600 block, 9:10 p.m. July 10. Two male teenagers approached two pedestrians from behind. One teenager said something, hit a pedestrian in the face and took a basketball jersey before fleeing with his companion.

OGDEN ST., 1400 block, 8:25 a.m. July 11. A woman asked a male pedestrian for money. The male said he had none. The woman hit him on the head with a metal pole and fled with his wallet.

OTIS PL., 800 block, 8:05 to 8:15 p.m. July 11. A female led a male into an alley and said, "I've got a gun. Give me all your money or I will kill you." She snatched his eyeglasses and broke them. Two other males then approached and hit him.

OTIS PL., 1200 block, 8:30 p.m. July 14. Five males approached two other males. They chased one, who tried to escape on a bicycle. They caught him and hit him in the face. The bicyclist's companion tried to stop them and was hit. An employment ID and a Western Union card were taken.

P ST., 1400 block, 2:20 to 2:31 p.m. July 15. A male took a wallet in an alley.

P ST., 3200 block, 4:30 to 4:40 p.m. July 14. A man entered a specialty store and took items to the cash register. He gave the cashier money. When she opened the register, the man showed a gun and took cash.

PARK RD., 1400 block, 4:30 a.m. July 15. A man demanded $300 from a pedestrian. When the pedestrian said he didn't have the money, the man threatened to kill him and swung at him with a knife. After a struggle, he took a cell phone.

RITTENHOUSE ST., 900 block, 11 a.m. July 11. A man grabbed someone counting property on the sidewalk. Another man snatched the property and fled with the other robber.

SPRING RD., 1400 block, 11:30 p.m. July 9. Seven people approached two pedestrians -- a male and a female -- from behind. One put a gun to the male pedestrian's head and took property, then pointed the gun at the female as she fled with her companion.

T ST., 700 block, 5:50 to 6:05 p.m. July 8. A male teenager assaulted a male pedestrian and took property. A male, 14, was arrested.

WISCONSIN AVE., 4500 block, 8:45 to 9 p.m. July 15. A male teenager sitting with three others on a curb stood in front of a pedestrian in an alley and demanded cash. The pedestrian refused twice, and the teenager pushed the pedestrian in the chest. The pedestrian then complied.

WISCONSIN AVE., 5100 block, 9:20 to 9:25 p.m. July 13. A robbery occurred on a sidewalk. A man, 18, was arrested.

FIRST ST., 1400 block, 4 p.m. July 11. A man approached a male from behind in a home and hit him in the ear with a gun, then demanded property. He fled with property.

FOURTH ST., 100 block, 10:25 a.m. July 15. A man asked a pedestrian for change. When the pedestrian refused, the man picked up a brick. The pedestrian threw property to the ground. The man picked it up and fled.

EIGHTH ST., 5600 block, 2:15 to 2:16 p.m. July 7. Four male teenagers approached a food delivery person making a delivery. One choked the person while a second hit the victim in the leg with a bat. The other two robbed the person of food, a wallet and a cell phone.

NINTH ST., 4100 block, 10:25 p.m. July 14. Three male teenagers knocked down a 57-year-old man from behind on the sidewalk. One grabbed a wallet from the man's pocket, tearing his pants.

11TH AND L STREETS, 4 to 4:05 a.m. July 10. Two men robbed a male pedestrian of a wallet, a permit and a school ID at knifepoint. The pedestrian threw his wallet to the ground and fled.

14TH AND OAK STREETS, 12:30 a.m. July 9. Four men attacked a male pedestrian and pushed him to the ground. One took a wallet containing a permit and credit cards.

14TH ST., 2400 block, 11:45 to 11:47 a.m. July 14. A robbery occurred at a convenience store.

15TH AND K STREETS, 5:10 to 5:40 a.m. July 13. A man asked a pedestrian his name, then acted as if he had a gun in his pocket and demanded money. The pedestrian complied.

15TH ST., 3000 block, 2:45 a.m. July 13. Two men robbed a pedestrian.

17TH ST., 1900 block, 12:28 a.m. July 8. A man and a woman tried to snatch a pedestrian's purse. The pedestrian held onto the purse until the man demanded it.

18TH STREET AND ONTARIO ROAD, 5 p.m. July 11. A boy snatched a purse from a female pedestrian and fled on foot with another boy.

19TH ST., 1100 block, 5:20 to 5:21 p.m. July 14. A male teenager snatched a purse from a female as she was leaving a building. He fled on in-line skates.

19TH ST., 1800 block, 1:40 a.m. July 10. A man snatched a purse from a female pedestrian and fled with a woman.

20TH ST., 2300 block, 2:02 a.m. July 11. A gunman stood outside an apartment building and said, "Excuse me. Give me your wallet" to two people. One complied. The other started to comply, but changed his mind. He was then shot in the knee.

21ST ST., 1300 block, 10:23 p.m. July 12. A man snatched a purse from a female pedestrian and fled. A man, 44, was arrested.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ALBEMARLE ST., 4100 block, 8:30 a.m. July 7 to 9 a.m. July 13. Three TVs were taken from a school entered through a front door.

BROAD BRANCH RD., 5700 block, 9:30 p.m. July 9 to 6:30 a.m. July 12. A school was entered through an unlocked window. An intruder defecated on the floor and in a bathroom sink, ransacked a classroom and sprayed a fire extinguisher.

CHAMPLAIN ST., 2300 block, 4 p.m. July 11 to 6:30 a.m. July 12. Radios, equipment and tools were taken from a construction site entered by removing a front-door latch.

CONNECTICUT AVE., 1600 block, 3:27 to 4:15 a.m. July 10. Forty watches, two necklaces, 16 bracelets and 30 rings were taken from jewelry cases in a store entered by prying a rear door. The cases were smashed.

DAVENPORT ST., 3500 block, 1:32 to 2:45 p.m. July 9. Fifty DVDs were taken from an unlocked apartment.

DELAFIELD PL., 600 block, 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. July 9. After opening his front door, a resident noticed a small table pushed against it. He heard footsteps in his basement and went to investigate. Two males ran out a rear basement door and fled in a vehicle. A flat-screen TV and three fireproof boxes were taken.

EASTERN AVE., 6 p.m. July 11. Men's suits were taken from a specialty store entered by smashing a front glass door.

EASTERN AVE., 3:30 to 10:11 a.m. July 12. A cash drawer, a DVD player and two digital cameras were taken from a specialty store.

GEORGIA AVE., 5900 block, 1:24 a.m. July 14. A man smashed windows and kicked in doors of a church and a business next door and took property from both.

GEORGIA AVE., 6200 block, 5:05 a.m. July 11. A man entered a home and began touching the feet of a resident. The resident chased the man with a stick and caught him, holding him until police arrived.

GRESHAM PL., 500 block, 7 a.m. July 8 to 8:30 p.m. July 10. Property was taken from an apartment entered by forcing a door.

H ST., 1000 block, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. July 12. Property was taken from a hotel or motel.

HARVARD ST., 600 block, 9:30 a.m. to noon July 12. A wicker couch and a wicker chair were taken from a home entered through a living room window.

HARVARD ST., 1600 block, 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. July 13. A VCR, a radio and an electric drill were taken from a building entered by forcing a front door.

HOBART PL., 700 block, 5:54 a.m. July 11. A resident heard noises from the first floor of his house. He went downstairs and discovered his front door was open. He went onto a porch and saw a man fleeing with a black bag. A power drill was taken.

HOBART PL., 700 block, 4:30 to 7 p.m. July 14. Tools were taken from a home.

INGRAHAM ST., 800 block, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 15. A lawn mower was taken from a home entered by forcing a basement door.

K ST., 1400 block, 6:45 p.m. July 12 to 9 a.m. July 13. Property was taken from a locked office in an office building.

KENYON ST., 1000 block, 12:01 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 11. A man took a phone, a ladder and tools from a home.

MARION ST., 1500 block, 7:30 to 11:10 a.m. July 14. A break-in occurred at a home.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE., 4300 block, 11:30 p.m. July 10 to 7:20 a.m. July 11. A laptop computer and other property were taken from an occupied home.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE., 4300 block, 12:30 to 6:30 a.m. July 11. Property was taken from an occupied home entered through an unlocked front door.

N ST., 1800 block, 8 p.m. July 12 to 6 a.m. July 13. Four laptop computers and a leather briefcase were taken from an office building entered by breaking a window.

N ST., 1800 block, 10 p.m. July 12 to 7 a.m. July 13. A plasma screen TV was taken from an office building entered by breaking a front door.

NEBRASKA AVE., 4300 block, 8:30 a.m. to 5:25 p.m. July 12. A dormitory room was entered through an unlocked front door, and two laptop computers, a wallet, cash and an ID were taken. A man was seen leaving the room carrying a backpack.

NEW MEXICO AVE., 2800 block, 3 p.m. June 30 to 2:30 p.m. July 14. Property was taken from an apartment possibly entered with a key.

NICHOLSON ST., 400 block, 8 to 8:05 p.m. July 13. A police officer responded to a report of gunshots and saw a man put an object in his waistband, then pull his shirt over his waistband. The man fled into a home without the resident's permission. No further information was available from police.

Q ST., 4400 block, 7 a.m. July 12 to 7 a.m. July 13. A bicycle, cycling gloves and a helmet were taken from an unlocked garage.

RANDOLPH ST., 1300 block, 4:31 to 4:39 a.m. July 14. A restaurant was entered by smashing a rear bathroom window and ransacked. Nothing was reported stolen.

RITTENHOUSE ST., 3600 block, 7 a.m. July 7 to 10 a.m. July 11. A bicycle was taken from a garage entered by breaking a side window.

SHERMAN AVE., 3300 block, 11:55 a.m. July 9. A resident came home and found a living room door open and pillowcases filled with property. A man fled on foot.

TEWKESBURY PL., 600 block, 3 to 8:30 a.m. July 10. A video-game system was taken from an occupied home entered through an unlocked door or window.

TILDEN ST., 2900 block, 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. July 12. A laptop computer, a microphone, a bag, cables and other property were taken from a home.

CHEVY CHASE CIRCLE, 1-99 block, 2:30 p.m. July 10 to 6:15 a.m. July 12. A laptop computer, a camera, power saws and an air compressor were taken from a place of worship entered by forcing a basement window.

P ST., 1-99 block, 6:50 a.m. to 3:40 p.m. July 12. A TV and cash were taken from a home entered by forcing a rear door.

VAN NESS ST., 2900 block, 1 p.m. July 9 to 10:15 a.m. July 14. A computer was taken from a university office whose key was left in the door.

WYOMING AVE., 2100 block, 12:01 to 8 a.m. July 15. A laptop computer was taken from a home entered through a rear sliding glass door.

WYOMING AVE., 2200 block, noon to 3 a.m. July 12. A gold bracelet and a gold ring were taken from a home entered through a rear kitchen door.

FOURTH ST., 1200 block, 6 p.m. July 9 to 10:30 a.m. July 11. Two mountain bikes were taken from a building entered by removing a lock.

SIXTH ST., 1400 block, 10:20 p.m. July 9 to 8:35 a.m. July 10. A break-in occurred at a convenience store.

SIXTH ST., 2300 block, 9 a.m. July 9 to 10 a.m. July 12. A laptop computer and a computer bag were taken from a college.

SIXTH ST., 6800 block, 2:50 a.m. July 11. A laptop computer, a cell phone and a camera were taken from an occupied home.

EIGHTH ST., 7400 block, 7 p.m. July 10 to 8:45 a.m. July 11. A TV was taken from a home entered by forcing a rear basement door.

14TH ST., 1800 block, 6 p.m. July 13 to 9:45 a.m. July 14. A computer, an extension cable and other property were taken from a building.

17TH ST., 1500 block, 11:10 p.m. July 14 to 10:30 a.m. July 15. One-hundred-twenty DVDs were taken from a specialty store entered by prying a front door.

17TH ST., 4300 block, 8 a.m. July 13 to 8 a.m. July 15. A TV was taken from an unlocked garage.

18TH ST., 2400 block, 4:30 to 9:15 a.m. July 12. Property was taken from a restaurant entered through a rear door.

23RD ST., 500 block, noon July 7 to 8 a.m. July 11. Alcohol and vitamins were taken from a home.

34TH ST., 1600 block, 3:25 to 3:28 a.m. July 11. A resident returned home and found a male intruder while two other residents slept. The intruder pushed the resident, took property and fled.

38TH ST., 3400 block, 6 to 10:30 p.m. July 14. Property was taken from an apartment.

44TH ST., 2600 block, 8 p.m. July 7 to 6:30 a.m. July 8. A bicycle was taken from a garage, and an unlocked vehicle parked in the driveway was entered.

Southeast

HOMICIDES

POMEROY RD., 2900 block, 1:15 a.m. July 11. Antoine Lester Holroyd, 18, of the 2900 block of Jasper Street SE, and Michael Simms, 16, of the 2600 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE, were found in a parking lot suffering from gunshot wounds. Holroyd was taken to the D.C. Medical Examiner's Office, where he was pronounced dead. Simms was taken to Howard University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Three additional males found at the scene were taken to area hospitals for treatment.

34TH ST., 200 block, 1:12 to 1:15 a.m. July 9. Davien Snipes, 23, of the 3500 block of A Street SE, was found on a sidewalk with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the D.C. Medical Examiner's Office.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

BENNING RD., 4700 -5100 block, 4 to 4:10 p.m. June 26. A sexual assault occurred in a home.

ROBBERIES

AINGER PLACE AND ALABAMA AVENUE, 11:40 p.m. July 14. A male armed with a knife attacked a 52-year-old pedestrian. He punched the man several times and stabbed him, then fled with another male without taking property. The victim was taken to a hospital.

BRANCH AVE., 1600 block, 3:25 to 3:28 a.m. July 10. A vehicle occupied by two gunmen at a stoplight bumped a vehicle occupied by two females. The gunmen got out and robbed the females of a watch, a diamond ring, a purse and a cell phone.

EATON RD., 1200 block, 7:20 a.m. July 11. Two males told a 41-year-old man that they knew his friend and told him to follow them. One then produced a gun and said, "You know what time it is." The man fled, and the two males took two cell phones from his car.

ELY PL., 4000 block, 2:15 to 2:20 a.m. July 15. Three males got out of a red Chevrolet and approached a male who was cleaning his car windows. One pointed a gun at him and demanded the car keys. The victim said he didn't have them. Another robber took property from the victim's pocket.

GOOD HOPE RD., 1600 block, 1:30 to 1:35 p.m. July 9. Two men engaged a female in conversation in an office building. One took the female's wallet from her purse and fled. He returned later and returned the wallet, saying "Here, I found this lying on the ground."

GOOD HOPE RD., 2300 block, 6:30 to 6:35 p.m. July 11. A male entered the cashier's area of a grocery store and pushed a person against a wall while holding an aluminum baseball bat and took property.

GOOD HOPE RD., 2300 block, 3:10 to 3:20 a.m. July 13. Someone told a male to turn around as he was removing property from his van. He turned around and saw three males. One displayed a shotgun while another took two cell phones and three credit cards from his pockets and told him to drive from the parking lot.

JASPER RD., 2800 block, 5:40 a.m. July 9. Three male teenagers attacked a male, 34, at a parking area.

MAPLE VIEW PL., 1200 block, 4:40 a.m. July 10. A male teenager grabbed an 18-year-old man by the neck on the street. Another male teenager held a gun and said, "Give up everything." The victim knocked the gun away, causing it to fire a bullet, which hit him in the leg. The robbers fled.Q ST., 2900 block, 9:50 to 10:05 p.m. July 11. A man offered a ride to a female at a bus stop. She accepted. He then robbed her at gunpoint of a cell phone, keys and other property.

RALEIGH ST., 500 block, 2:30 p.m. July 10. A man asked a male pedestrian for change for a $5 bill. The male pulled five single bills from his pocket. The man snatched the cash and fled.

SOUTHERN AVENUE AND SOUTH CAPITOL STREET, 4 p.m. July 14. A man hit a 46-year-old man in the head with an object at a service station and took property.

SUMNER RD., 1100 block, 12:15 a.m. July 5. A gunman and another male dragged someone from a car and beat him or her with an object. The victim fled.

T ST., 1400 block, 9:40 to 9:50 p.m. July 12. Two male teenagers attacked a female pedestrian and robbed her of a purse.

O ST., 1-99 block, 10:15 a.m. July 11. A man snatched a customer's wallet from the counter of a specialty store and tried to flee. The customer grabbed the man and fought with him. The robber bit the customer on the arm. The customer and store employees detained the man until police arrived. A man, 43, was arrested.

SEVENTH ST., 300 block, 2:30 p.m. July 15. A gunman entered a specialty store and demanded cash. An employee grabbed the gun. The man said, "Let go before I kill you." The employee gave the robber cash.

10TH ST., 400 block, 12:15 to 12:20 a.m. July 11. A male teenager accompanied by two others pointed an object at a female and demanded money. A witness opened a front door of his home and allowed the female to run inside. The teenagers fled.

17TH ST., 200 block, 4:39 p.m. July 12. A 20-year-old man entered an acquaintance's home with a gun and demanded the acquaintance's keys. He fled in the acquaintance's car.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ALABAMA AVE., 1300 block, 5 p.m. July 9 to 6 a.m. July 12. Two computers, a monitor and phones were taken from a school entered through a second-floor window.

ALABAMA AVE., 4000 block, 9:30 p.m. July 14 to 9:30 a.m. July 15. A lawn mower was taken from a home.

BARNABY RD., 4200 block, 2:50 a.m. July 10. Two males entered an apartment by forcing a front door. They awoke a 27-year-old resident by turning on a light and putting a mask over his head. One of the robbers took the resident to a second bedroom and took property.

BOWEN RD., 2600 block, 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 11. A DVD player, DVDs and a license were taken from a home entered through a front door.

CHAPLIN ST., 1200 block, 11 p.m. July 13 to 5 a.m. July 14. Two bicycles were taken from a rear porch of a home entered by damaging a lock on the porch door. A shed in the back yard was also entered by breaking a lock on a door.

FORT BAKER DR., 2900 block, 10:40 to 10:41 a.m. July 11. A home was entered by climbing onto a lawn chair and removing a screen from a rear window. An alarm sounded, and a man was seeing running out the front door with a stereo.

MILWAUKEE PL., 600 block, 8 p.m. July 2 to 7 a.m. July 6. Property was taken from a government building entered by breaking an office window.

NAYLOR RD., 2000 block, 9:50 a.m. to 8:20 p.m. July 12. Property was taken from a home entered through a front door.

SOUTHERN AVE., 4000 block, 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. July 14. A video camera was taken from a home entered by breaking a lock on a kitchen door.

TRENTON PL., 1200 block, 6:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. July 12. Two computers, a monitor, a radio, a drill, a saw and a circular chain set were taken from a home.

YUMA ST., 800 block, 9 p.m. July 7 to 2:20 a.m. July 9. A TV was taken from a home entered by breaking a rear window.

SECOND ST., 400 block, noon July 11 to 9:10 a.m. July 12. A woman entered a home by bending iron window bars and removing an air conditioner from a front window. A resident found her asleep in a bedroom. Property had been taken.

EIGHTH ST., 4000 block, 6 a.m. July 11. A male entered a female acquaintance's home by pushing a window air conditioner. He chased her to the laundry room and hit her.

12TH ST., 1000 block, 12:28 a.m. July 6. A man climbed onto a second-floor balcony of a female acquaintance's home and punched out the window of the door. He then reached through the broken glass and punched his acquaintance in the head several times before fleeing.

30TH ST., 3000 block, 9 a.m. July 12 to 7:05 a.m. July 13. Two boys, ages 10 and 13, reportedly took a mini scooter after entering a home by breaking a window on a back porch.

31ST ST., 2800 block, 7 a.m. to 12:10 p.m. July 13. A laptop computer was taken from a home.

MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. AVE., 4600 block, 7:45 p.m. July 13. A woman committed a robbery.

MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. AVE., 4700 block, 2:50 a.m. July 9. Two males were involved in a robbery on a street.

G ST., 100 block, 4:45 a.m. July 9. A resident found a male intruder in her home.

GALVESTON ST., 1-99 block, 12:30 to 5 a.m. July 10. Paint primer was taken from a construction site entered by breaking a patio door window.

FOURTH ST., 400 block, 5 p.m. July 11. Five boys entered gated areas of a police station and tried to steal property from the station's garage.

FOURTH ST., 400 block, 4 to 5:25 p.m. July 15. Police saw four male teenagers enter the garage of a police station and try to steal property. Four youths, ages 13, 15 and 16, were arrested.

SIXTH ST., 900 block, 10:56 to 11:45 p.m. July 9. A man attempted to break into a home through a rear balcony door. A man, 20, was arrested.
