CORDELL AVE., 4800 block, 8:44 p.m. July 9 to 7 a.m. July 10. Computer equipment was stolen from a business entered by forcing a door.

DEPAUL DR., 9900 block, midnight July 4 to 10 p.m. July 9. A residence was entered by forcing open a window. Nothing was reported missing.

FALLS RD., 10800 block, 9:05 p.m. July 10 to 5 a.m. July 11. Golf carts were stolen from a shed at a golf course. They were later recovered.

FLEET ST., 400 block, 4 p.m. July 9 to 8 a.m. July 12. Computers and monitors were stolen from a government office entered by forcing a door frame.

FREYMAN DR., 8400 block, 10:59 a.m. to 1:40 p.m. July 10. A computer, a CD-player-radio and jewelry were stolen from a residence.

JONES BRIDGE RD., 3300 block, July 6. A man, 28, of no fixed address, was charged July 6 with first-degree burglary in connection with an incident at the above location.

LILY STONE DR., 8100 block, noon July 8 to 1 a.m. July 11. Cash and a wallet were stolen from a residence.

RIVER RD., 5000 block, noon June 20 to 7 p.m. July 8. Computer equipment, stereo equipment and CDs were stolen from a residence.

RIVER RD., 10100 block, 12:25 a.m. July 14. Cigarettes were stolen from a gas service entered by kicking a service bay door panel.

ST. ELMO AVE., 4900 block, 8 p.m. July 2 to 8:30 a.m. July 6. Cash, computer equipment and a DVD burner were stolen from a business.

STRATHMORE AVE., 4900 block, July 7. A man, 50, of no fixed address, was charged July 7 with second-degree burglary, fourth-degree burglary and theft under $500 in connection with an incident at the above location.

WILD BIRD TER., 13400 block, 12:30 to 8:30 a.m. July 10. An attempt was made to enter a residence by forcing a window.

WILKINS AVE., 12300 block, 6 p.m. July 9 to 7:45 a.m. July 10. Cash was stolen from a restaurant entered by forcing a door.

ASSAULTS

EMERALD DR., 21300 block, 10:12 p.m. July 10. A gunman in a vehicle spoke to two Germantown men about a safe, then fled.

ROBBERIES

CRYSTAL ROCK DR., 19600 block, 10:50 p.m. July 8. Two men entered an apartment by breaking a sliding glass door and attempted to rob a Germantown woman, 23, of cash at gunpoint. The woman screamed and the men fled empty-handed.

DARNESTOWN RD., 12100 block, 10:20 p.m. July 8. Two males entered a pizza restaurant back door, surprising an employee who was counting cash in a back office. They fled with the cash.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CHASE AVE., 4700 block, 7 p.m. July 12 to 6:30 a.m. July 13. Computers were stolen from a computer business entered by smashing a front door glass.

COACHMAN'S RD., 18000 block, 10 p.m. July 8 to 5:45 a.m. July 9. A garage was entered. Nothing was reported missing.

EXECUTIVE BLVD., 6000 block, 7:20 p.m. July 8 to 6:59 a.m. July 9. A doctor's office was entered by forcing a door. Nothing was reported missing.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

PARK AVENUE AND LEE STREET AREA, 9:30 a.m. July 11. A man spoke to a 47-year-old Beltsville woman exposed himself. The woman said she was calling police and the man fondled himself and fled.

ASSAULTS

FISHER AVE., 19600 block. A 19-year-old Poolesville man was charged July 15 with first- and second-degree assault and disorderly conduct in connection with a fist fight and bottle-throwing incident at the above location. A person was injured in the incident and treated at a local hospital.

LOST KNIFE CIR., 18300 block, 7:23 p.m. July 12. A 23-year-old Gaithersburg man was charged with first-degree assault and carrying a concealed weapon in connection with an incident at the above location.

SPICEBERRY CIRCLE, A 27-year-old Damascus man was charged July 18 with first- and second-degree assault and reckless endangerment in connection with an incident at the above location. A 24-year-old Gaithersburg man was charged with reckless endangerment and conspiracy to commit first degree assault in connection with the same incident.

SPICEBERRY CIR., 7900 block, 10:30 p.m. July 16. A female stabbed a woman during a fight inside a residence. A 22-year-old Germantown woman was treated at a local hospital.

VINEYARD LANE, 17800 block, 2:35 a.m. July 18. A gunman got out of a white Acura Integra, gestured to a Gaithersburg man, 24, and pointed the gun at the man, who pushed it out of the way. The gun discharged, grazing the man's hand. The man reportedly refused medical treatment.

ROBBERIES

LAKEFOREST MALL, 8:50 p.m. July 12. A male entered a store, asked a clerk to see a diamond ring, then grabbed jewelry and fled in a vehicle driven by another male.

LOST KNIFE CIR., 18400 block, 10:15 p.m. July 11. Two males demanded cash at gunpoint from a Gaithersburg man, 25, who was then robbed of his cell phone.

MONTGOMERY VILLAGE AVE., 18300 block, 8:40 p.m. July 11. A male accompanied by several females implied he was armed with a gun and demanded cash from a man, 19, and a woman, 22, of Montgomery Village. The man and woman had no money and the robber and his companions fled.

BRASSIE PL., 19400 block, 3 p.m. July 2 to 10:30 a.m. July 11. Cash and computer equipment were stolen from a residence.

CALYPSO LANE, 8500 block, 1:50 a.m. July 10. A garage door opener was stolen from a garage.

CLAYHILL ST., 400 block, 1 to 10:30 p.m. July 14. A TV was stolen from a residence.

EAGLES HEAD CT., 1800 block, 11:45 to 11:49 a.m. July 7. A residence was entered through a garage. Nothing was reported missing.

FEATHERWOOD DR., 12300 block, 7:40 to 10 a.m. July 7. A video game system and game cartridges were stolen from a residence entered by climbing through a window.

MAYCREST WAY, 19700 block, 7 a.m. July 4 to 2 a.m. July 5. A safe, jewelry, cash, a video game system, video games and a paintball gun were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked rear door.

MCCUBBIN LANE, 12900 block, 10:20 a.m. July 9. Bicycles were stolen from a garage at a residence.

PAWNEE DR., 12100 block, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. July 8. A bicycle was stolen from a garage.

POMPANO TER., 7200 block, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 14. Cash, computer equipment and jewelry were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a door.

SOUTHAMPTON DR., 200 block, 10:30 p.m. July 4 to 7:30 a.m. July 5. Jewelry and liquor were stolen from a residence entered by cutting through a rear window.

STRATFORD GARDEN DR., 12500 block, 7 to 8 p.m. June 15. A bicycle was stolen from a garage at a residence.

TRACY DR., 1000 block, 2 p.m. July 2 to 12:30 p.m. July 6. A residence was entered by forcing a sliding glass door. Nothing was reported missing.

WATER OAK DR., 15200 block, 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. July 14. A computer, a briefcase and an umbrella were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a back door.

WATKINS MILL DR., 10300 block, 5:30 a.m. July 8 to 12:30 a.m. July 14. Cash and alcohol were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a door.

WHITES FERRY RD., 20600 block, 7:30 a.m. July 5 to 8:30 p.m. July 8. A weapon and clothing were stolen from a home.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

ASPEN HILL AREA, July 16. A 50-year-old Woodbine man was charged with attempted second-degree rape, fourth-degree sexual assault and second-degree assault in connection with a May 21 incident at a house at the above location.

ASSAULTS

GAINSBOROUGH RD., 10700 block. A boy was threatened to be cut with a knife. Three Potomac boys were charged July12 with armed robbery and first-degree assault in connection with the incident.

ROBBERIES

CABIN JOHN MIDDLE SCHOOL, July 12. Three Potomac boys, all age 14, were charged July 12 with armed robbery and first-degree assault in connection with an incident at the above location.

ROCKVILLE PIKE, 10400 block, 1:50 p.m. July 10. Two Washington boys, ages 14 and 16, were arrested and charged with robbery, theft over $500, conspiracy to commit robbery, peeping Tom and rogue vagabond in connection with an incident at the above location.

BUCKHURST CT., 4500 block, 3 p.m. June 13. Wine and beer were stolen from a residence entered through an open garage.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

NORTHWOOD AREA, 5:25 p.m. July 13. A 40-year-old Silver Spring man exposed his buttocks during a neighborhood dispute.

ASSAULTS

ARLISS ST., 8700 block, 5:45 p.m. July 16. A woman stabbed a female during an argument. A 35-year-old woman, of no fixed address, was charged with first- and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment and carrying a deadly weapon.

OLD COLUMBIA PIKE, 15500 block, July 10. Two men assaulted a person. A 21-year-old Takoma Park man and a 24-year-old Silver Spring man were charged with first-degree assault.

SLIGO AVE., 600 block, 10 p.m. July 14. A man struck a delicatessen patron with a pool stick several times during an argument. A 40-year-old Hyattsville man was treated for cuts to his head at a local hospital.

CARJACKINGS

RUATAN ST., 1000 block, 9:15 p.m. July 14. Three males got into a motorist's car and forced the 36-year-old Silver Spring man to drive at gunpoint. After going one block, the man jumped from the car and hid in bushes. The carjackers drove off and struck a parked car a short distance away.

ROBBERIES

BEL PRE RD., 3800 block, 10 p.m. July 8. A male robbed a pizza delivery man of cash and a pizza at gunpoint.

COLESVILLE RD., 8600 block, 11 a.m., June 30. A Bethesda boy rode the Metro to Silver Spring and was engaged in conversation by two male youths. Two boys on the Metro talked to a Bethesda boy. After an hour later, they entered a stairway inside a shopping center where the two boys assaulted and robbed the Bethesda youth of cash.

FAIRVIEW RD., 9100 block, 7:20 to 7:30 p.m. July 12. A bicycle was stolen from a garage at a residence.

FIDLER LANE, 1100 block, 3:30 p.m. July 14. A gunman outside an apartment building robbed a 32-year-old Washington man of cash, then fled with an accomplice in a blue Chevrolet Cavalier.

GEORGIA AVE., 7900 block, 12:36 p.m. July 8. A gunman ordered a party store male employee to the back of the shop, forced the man to the floor, bound him and fled with the store's cash.

OLD COLUMBIA PIKE, 13880 block, 11:32 p.m. July 16. A gunman robbed a convenience store cash register of cash.

BLACKBURN LANE, 4000 block, 7:15 a.m. July 11. Computer equipment was stolen from a business entered by forcing a door.

COLGATE WAY, 13600 block, July 4. Two boys, 13, and a boy, 15, all of Silver Spring, were charged July 4 with first-degree burglary in connection with an incident at the above location.

FAIRVIEW RD., 9100 block, 7:20 to 7:30 p.m. July 12. A bicycle was stolen from a garage.

FENTON ST., 8500 block, 7 p.m. July 10 to 6 a.m. July 11. A book store was entered by breaking drywall. Nothing was reported missing.

BEL PRE RD., 3800 block, 10 p.m. July 8. A man robbed a pizza delivery person of cash at gunpoint.

GEORGIA AVE., 12400 block, 2:48 p.m. July 9. Two males accosted a Silver Spring man, 65, and one of the males asked for change. The man pulled out his wallet and was robbed of cash. The males fled.

NEW HAMPSHIRE AVE., 6900 block, 9:13 a.m. July 19. A man armed with a screwdriver pushed a business owner into a secured enclosure and took cash from a register.

NEW HAMPSHIRE AVE., 7400 block, 11:30 p.m. July 18. Two men in a motel room forced a motel guest to the floor and robbed him of his wallet.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

PHILADELPHIA AVE., 1 to 100 block, 4 to 5:30 p.m. July 17. Property was stolen from an unlocked detached garage.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

NEW HAMPSHIRE AVE., 7600 block, 11 a.m. July 19. A 1994 Infiniti Q45 was stolen from outside a store where the owner was shopping. She had unknowingly dropped the keys inside the store.
