THEFTS/BREAK-INS

COLTSFOOT TER., 2000 block, 8 to 9:30 p.m. Aug. 1. An attempt was made to enter the gym of an apartment complex.

GREENWAY CORPORATE DR., 43000 block, 9:30 p.m. July 29 to 7 a.m. July 30. A laptop computer was stolen from a vehicle.

STRAWRICK TER., 20000 block, 11:30 p.m. July 31 to 8 a.m. Aug. 1. Cash, a wallet and a cell phone were stolen from a vehicle, and a vehicle window was damaged.

PEEPING TOM INCIDENTS

TIMBER RIDGE TER., 21000 block, 2:12 a.m. Aug. 2. A woman said a male stranger tapped on a window of her residence.

BAISH DR. SE, 300 block, 8:02 p.m. Aug. 2. Police responded to an assault at a residence.

EVANS RIDGE TER. NE, 400 block, 4:04 a.m. July 30. An assault at a residence was reported to police.

FORT EVANS RD. NE, 1 to 100 block, 2:07 a.m. July 30. An assault was reported to police.

IDA LEE DR. NW, 1 to 100 block, 6:40 p.m. Aug. 2. An assault at a recreational center was reported to police.

KING ST. S., 500 block, 8:05 p.m. July 31. An assault at a residence was reported to police.

BRIGADIER CT. SE, 700 block, 7:31 p.m. Aug. 8. A Virginia license plate, bearing the letters AGASA, was stolen from a vehicle.

CATOCTIN CIR., 1 to 100 block, 6:26 p.m. Aug. 2. Cash, a cash drawer and a bank bag were stolen from a business.

CATOCTIN CIR. NE, 1 to 100 block, 1:21 p.m. Aug. 3. A bicycle was stolen from a store.

CHERRY LANE NE, 400 block, 6:56 p.m. Aug. 3. Cash was stolen from a vehicle.

EDWARDS FERRY RD. NE, 900 block, 8:13 p.m. Aug. 3. A youth took property from a store.

EDWARDS FERRY RD. NE, 1000 block, 10:44 a.m. Aug. 2. A door of a business was damaged. Nothing was reported missing.

EDWARDS FERRY RD. NE, 900 block, 6:29 p.m. Aug. 1. Five customers left a restaurant without paying.

EDWARDS FERRY RD. NE, 900 block, 4:19 p.m. July 30. Two youths took property from a store.

EVERGREEN MILL RD. SE, 500 block, 3:43 p.m. July 31. A class ring was stolen at a high school.

FORT EVANS RD. NE, 1 to 100 block, 7:36 p.m. Aug. 2. Jewelry was stolen from a residence.

COLONIAL HWY. W., 400 block, 10 p.m. July 31 to 8:50 a.m. Aug. 2. Cases of beer were stolen from a restaurant, and a window was damaged.

PAYNES LANE, 39000 block, July 1 to Aug. 1. Two guns were stolen from a residence.

ROBBERIES

MAPLE AVE. W., 100 block, 2:20 p.m. July 30. A boy assaulted another boy and took his bicycle. A 14-year-old boy was charged with robbery and assault and was taken to a juvenile detention center.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ASPEN AVE. N., 100 block, 5 a.m. July 24 to 2 p.m. July 30. A window was damaged in an attempt to enter a residence.

DULLES EASTERN PLAZA, 45000 block, 7:30 p.m. Aug. 1 to 10 a.m. Aug. 2. A door was damaged in an attempt to enter a business.

HUNTINGTON SQ., 21000 block, 6:50 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 29. A residence was entered. Nothing was reported stolen.

SENECA RIDGE DR., 100 block, noon July 29 to 10:45 a.m. Aug. 1. Cash was stolen from a residence, and a basement window was damaged.

STAUNTON AVE. E., 300 block, noon July 27. A mini-motorcycle was stolen from outside a residence.

PEEPING TOM INCIDENTS

COURTYARD SQ., 46000 block, 10:08 to 10:18 p.m. July 29. A woman saw a man looking through a sliding glass door of her home. The man was arrested at the scene.

VANDALISM

LAUREL AVE. E., 400 block, 12:01 to 8:30 a.m. Aug. 1. A vehicle, a mailbox and a driveway were spray-painted with graffiti.

STERLING BLVD. S., 300 block, 6 p.m. July 28 to 5:30 a.m. July 29. Two greens at a golf course were damaged.

HYLAND HILLS ST., 43000 block, 8:30 p.m. July 28 to 8:10 a.m. July 29. Cash, a cell phone and a computer bag were stolen from a vehicle.
