Prince Frederick Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CENTRAL SQUARE DR., 7:32 a.m. Aug. 3. The equipment room at Prince Frederick Car Wash was entered by force. Several vending machines were broken into.

ASSAULTS

CRAIN HWY., 11000 block, 3:35 p.m. July 31. A man, 48, stabbed a woman, 39, and hit her with a glass object at the Thunderbird Motel. Her injuries were not life-threatening. She was flown to Prince George's Hospital Center for treatment. The man was charged with first-degree assault.

Hughesville Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

PRINCE FREDERICK RD., 16500 block, 8:45 p.m. July 25 to 3 p.m. July 26. A table saw and other property were stolen from a shed at a residence. CDs were stolen from a vehicle parked at the residence.

Indian Head Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

LIVINGSTON RD., 4200 block, 1 to 1:20 p.m. July 22. A television and cash were stolen from a residence.

Waldorf Area

ROBBERIES

HUNTINGTON CIR., 2 a.m. July 31. Two armed robbers stole a wallet from a man, 18.

SMALLWOOD DR., 1100 block, 3:39 p.m. July 30. An armed robber stole cash and a cell phone from two employees at Adcomm, a cellular phone store.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BELFAST RD., 800 block, 7 to 9 a.m. Aug. 1. Three cell phones were stolen from a residence.

CRAIN HWY., 2300 block, 6:15 p.m. July 25. Two CD players and a cell phone were stolen from two vehicles.

CRAIN HWY., 2400 block, 1 p.m. July 26 to 3 p.m. July 28. License plates were stolen from a vehicle in the parking lot of Waldorf Dodge.

CRAIN HWY., 3000 block, 5:40 p.m. July 26. A burglar broke into Beltway Title but fled when seen by an employee.

CRAIN HWY., 3200 block, 7 p.m. July 26 to 7 a.m. July 27. A burglar attempted to break into the Hamilton Center.

OLD WASHINGTON RD., 3200 block, 5:30 p.m. July 26 to 8:30 a.m. July 27. Cash and two laptop computers were stolen from Maximum Title Co. and Fitzgerald Financial Group.

LEONARDTOWN RD., 12:51 a.m. Aug. 3. A burglar entered Waldorf Laundry by force, causing damage.

PINEY CHURCH RD., July 24. A man, 18, and two boys, 17, stole a vehicle and crashed it into a tree. During the investigation, police determined that they were involved in multiple burglaries in the Pinefield and St. Charles areas of Waldorf. They were charged with motor vehicle theft. The man was additionally charged with 24 counts of first-degree burglary, 10 counts of theft over $500, 10 counts of conspiracy to commit theft over $500, 13 counts of theft under $500, 13 counts of conspiracy to commit theft under $500, 21 counts of malicious destruction of property under $500, 22 counts of conspiracy to commit first-degree burglary and malicious destruction of property over $500. The boys were additionally charged with 30 counts of first-degree burglary, 10 counts of theft over $500, 14 counts of theft under $500, two counts of destruction of property over $500, 21 counts of destruction of property under $500, six counts of conspiracy to commit malicious destruction of property and conspiracy to commit burglary.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY

HARWICH DR., 1300 block, 11 p.m. July 29 to 6:12 a.m. July 30. Racist words were spray-painted on a garage door at a residence. Three vehicles at the residence were also spray-painted.

MINK CT., 6700 block, 8:37 a.m. Aug. 1. Eggs and toilet paper were thrown at a residence. Feces were smeared on a vehicle parked in a driveway of the residence.

St. Mary's County

California Area

LAUREL GLEN DR., 8:40 p.m. July 28. After being refused entry into a residence, a man, 32, broke into the residence where a woman, 31, and her children were staying. He was charged with third-degree burglary.

Hollywood Area

ASSAULTS

HOLLYWOOD, 1:30 a.m. Aug. 1. A man, 25, assaulted a woman, 24, at a residence. He was charged with second-degree assault.

ST. JOHN'S RD., 9:19 p.m. Aug. 3. A man, 18, assaulted a woman, 18, at a residence. He was charged with second-degree assault.

Lexington Park Area

ASSAULTS

KRYSTAL LANE, 12:15 p.m. July 29. A man, 24, assaulted a woman, 20, at a residence. He was charged with second-degree assault.

Mechanicsville Area

ASSAULTS

QUEEN TREE RD., Aug. 1. A man assaulted a woman at a residence. He was charged with second-degree assault and giving a false name to a police officer.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

GOLDEN BEACH RD., 8 p.m. Aug. 1 to 5:30 p.m. Aug. 4. A 2002 Yamaha all-terrain-vehicle was stolen from a trailer at a residence.
