ROBBERIES

DALE ST., 100 block, 10:15 a.m. July 30. A man was approached by three people, one of whom produced a handgun and demanded money. The robbers, not satisfied with the amount of money the man had, tried to force him into his Buick to take him somewhere to get more money. The man resisted and was shot in the leg. Two robbers fled in the man's gold-colored car. The third robber apparently left in another vehicle. Police observed the stolen car traveling south on North Patrick Street. After it struck several parked cars, the occupants got out and escaped on foot. The victim was taken to George Washington University Hospital.

DUKE AND SOUTH PITT STREETS, 8:35 to 8:40 p.m. July 28. A male bumped a female pedestrian and took a waist pouch she was wearing. He then ran away, crossing South Pitt Street. No injuries were reported.

MOUNT VERNON AND RANDOLPH AVENUES, 6:30 p.m. July 30. Three men demanded a backpack from a man. He complied, and they fled.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

NORTH ST. ASAPH ST., 800 block, 9 p.m. July 27 to 8:30 a.m. July 30. Jewelry was stolen from a hotel room.

ORONOCO ST., 10 block, 3 p.m. July 29 to 5 a.m. July 30. A waterfront warehouse was entered by forcing a door and offices, plumbing and property were damaged. Four forklifts were taken from the facility and left in the Potomac River.

KING ST., 3000 block, 11:30 p.m. July 29 to 4:45 a.m. July 30. A school trailer was entered through a door. Nothing was reported missing.

KING ST., 3300 block, 7 p.m. July 30 to 8 a.m. Aug. 2. A school trailer was entered by prying a door, and graffiti was painted on walls and desks.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

SEMINARY RD., 4900 block, 9:30 p.m. July 28 to 1 a.m. July 29. A red 2002 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck was stolen.

KING ST., 4500 block, 7 p.m. July 29 to 8:30 p.m. July 30. A tan 1995 Toyota Camry was stolen.

DUKE ST., 5200 block, 8 p.m. July 29 to 5 p.m. Aug. 2. A black 1997 Mercury Sable was stolen.

EDSALL RD., 6100 block, 6:30 a.m. Aug. 1 to 6:30 a.m. Aug. 2. A brown 1998 Dodge Caravan was stolen.

WYNDHAM CIR., 3300 block, noon Aug. 1 to noon Aug. 2. A black 2000 Honda Civic was stolen.

NORTH ARMISTEAD ST., 400 block, 9:30 p.m. Aug. 2 to 7:30 a.m. Aug. 3. A gold 2000 Honda Civic was stolen.

EISENHOWER AVE., 4700 block, 9:45 a.m. Aug. 2. A 2003 Subaru station wagon was stolen.

EAST REED AVE., unit block, 4 p.m. Aug. 2 to 6:30 a.m. Aug. 3. A blue 1992 Honda Accord was stolen.

NORTH ARMISTEAD ST., 400 block, 10:15 p.m. Aug. 2 to 6:45 a.m. Aug. 3. A dark green 1995 Honda Civic was stolen.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

SOUTH 12TH ST., 400 block, 2:15 to 7:15 a.m. July 30. The front door of a business was forced open, and a TV and clothing were stolen.

COLUMBIA PIKE, 2400 block, 8:30 p.m. Aug. 2 to 9:20 a.m. Aug. 3. A window of a business was broken. Nothing was reported missing.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

NORTH KIRKWOOD ST., 1100 block. A black 1998 Ford Explorer was stolen.

SOUTH CRYSTAL DR., 2000 block. A green 1996 Honda Accord was stolen.

SOUTH 28TH ST., 1400 block. A black 1998 Honda Civic was stolen.

SOUTH GLEBE RD., 1300 block. A green 1996 Toyota Camry was stolen.
