THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BUTTERMERE TER., 43000 block, 6:30 p.m. Aug. 6 to 7:05 a.m. Aug. 7. A watch was stolen from a vehicle.

WHITFORD SQ., 44000 block, 8:50 p.m. Aug. 5. A moped was stolen.

VANDALISM

GARDEN GATE CIR., 20000 block, 12:01 to 5 p.m. Aug. 9. Eight vehicles and a garage door were damaged.

ISHERWOOD TER., 20000 block, 12:15 to 5 p.m. Aug. 9. A vehicle was spray painted.

Leesburg Area

ASSAULTS

EVANS RIDGE TER. NE, 400 block, 1:50 a.m. Aug. 4. Telephone threats were reported to police.

MARKET ST. E., 400 block, 9:39 p.m. Aug. 4. An assault at a community center was reported to police.

VANDALISM

HAMPSHIRE SQ. SW, 100 block, 3:19 a.m. Aug. 6. A window of a residence was damaged.

MARSHALL DR. NE, 900 block, 11:08 p.m. Aug. 4. Eggs were thrown at a vehicle.

Potomac Falls Area

VANDALISM

WALLINGFORD SQ., 20000 block, 4 p.m. Aug. 2 to 11 a.m. Aug. 3. A vehicle was damaged.

South Riding Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

THOROUGHGOOD DR., 43000 block, 6 p.m. Aug. 6 to 11:55 p.m. Aug. 7. Jewelry, a video game system and accessories were stolen from a residence.

Sterling Area

ROBBERIES

GREENTHORN AVE., 1700 block, 5 p.m. Aug. 6. Several men assaulted another man and took his wallet.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CONCORD ST. E., 100 block, 2:46 a.m. Aug.8. An attempt was made to enter a residence. An arrest was made at the scene.

DULLES CROSSING PLAZA, 45000 block, 12:15 a.m. Aug. 7. A wallet was stolen from a purse at a store.

LAUREL AVE. W., 400 block, 5 p.m. Aug. 6. A bicycle was stolen from outside a school.

VANDALISM

CEDAR LAKES PLAZA, 46000 block, 10 p.m. Aug. 5 to 8 a.m. Aug. 6. Two store windows were damaged.

CHURCH RD. W., 200 block, 8 a.m. Aug. 5 to 3 p.m. Aug. 6. Locks at a school loading dock were damaged.
