ROBBERIES

NORTH ALFRED ST., 900 block, 11:48 a.m. Aug. 5. Two men approached a 34-year-old man and one demanded money. The robbers took cash and fled in two cars.

NORTH ARMISTEAD ST., 500 block, 10:30 p.m. Aug. 6. Three men got out of a Honda and demanded money from six teenagers. When one teenager refused, he was stabbed with a knife in the shoulder. The men then took cash and cell phones from the group and fled in the car. The stabbing victim was treated by a medic unit at the scene.

SOUTH BRAGG ST., 100 block, 5:20 a.m. Aug. 7. A man demanded the wallet of a 25-year-old man. The man complied, and the robber fled on foot.

NORTH COLUMBUS ST., 800 block, 10:13 p.m. Aug. 11. A person grabbed a male pedestrian, 34, around the neck and demanded money. After a struggle, the robber grabbed the pedestrian's money and ran away. The victim was bruised.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

WEST BRADDOCK RD., 1400 block, 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Aug. 4. A 1986 red Piaggio moped was stolen from an open garage.

BRADDOCK PL., 1300 block, 10 p.m. Aug. 9 to 7 a.m. Aug. 10. A laptop computer was stolen from a parking garage booth. A lock had been pried open.

ORONOCO ST., 100 block, 3:12 a.m. Aug. 10. Two forklifts were removed from a waterfront warehouse, and an office was ransacked. One forklift was dumped into the river; the other was not recovered. Rolls of newsprint were set on fire. The building was entered by forcing a door. The case was under investigation.

MERTON CT., 5800 block, 10:05 to 10:16 p.m. Aug. 10. A man entered an apartment through an unlocked, sliding-glass patio door. When a resident returned from the laundry room, she discovered him in her living room. When she questioned him, he fled through the door. Nothing was reported missing.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

BRADFORD CT., 5400 block, 3 p.m. Aug. 6 to 3 a.m. Aug. 7. A white 1993 Honda Civic was stolen.

DUKE ST., 4100 block, 5:58 p.m. Aug. 10. A gray 2000 Hyundai Sonata was stolen.

EISENHOWER AVE., 2400 block, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug 10. A blue 2002 Dodge Ram truck was stolen.

KENMORE AVE., 4800 block, 12:30 to 9 a.m. Aug. 8. A gray 2002 Toyota Tacoma truck was stolen.

MARIS AVE., 5200 block, 10 p.m. Aug. 6 to noon Aug. 7. A gray 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe was stolen.

MERTON CT., 5800 block, 6 p.m. Aug. 6 to 3 p.m. Aug. 7. A white 1998 Honda Civic was stolen.

MOUNT VERNON AVE., 3300 block, 9 p.m. Aug. 5 to 9 a.m. Aug. 7. A white 1995 Ford Econoline van was stolen.

NORTH MORGAN ST., 6000 block, 12:30 to 8:30 a.m. Aug. 7. A gold 1996 Toyota Corolla was stolen.

NORTH WEST ST., 200 block, 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Aug. 7. A white 1983 Lincoln Continental was stolen.

NORTH ARMISTEAD ST., 500 block, 5 p.m. Aug. 8 to 8 a.m. Aug. 9. A light blue 2003 Honda Civic was stolen.

SOUTH VAN DORN ST., 500 block, 9 a.m. July 13 to 9 a.m. Aug. 5. A yellow 2002 GMC truck was stolen.

YOAKUM PKWY., 200 block, 9 p.m. Aug. 6 to 9 a.m. Aug. 7. A green 1995 Toyota Camry was stolen.

ASSAULTS

JEFFERSON ST. SOUTH, 500 block, 1:20 p.m. Aug. 9. A woman, 47, was stabbed by an acquaintance, who fled before police arrived. An arrest warrant was filed.

PERSHING DR., 3800 block, 1 a.m. Aug. 10. A man, 19, was stabbed by another man with a small knife.

ROBBERIES

HENDERSON RD., 4300 block, 10 p.m. Aug. 6. Six people assaulted a male pedestrian, 25, and robbed him of cash.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

LEE HWY., 5200 block, 6 p.m. Aug. 6 to 10:45 a.m. Aug. 7. A business was entered through a rear door. Property was taken from a safe.

LEE HWY., 5500 block, 11 p.m. Aug. 7 to 9:15 a.m. Aug. 8. A glass door of a business was broken. Nothing was reported missing.

NORTH QUINN ST., 1800 block, 2:46 a.m. Aug. 7. Residents returned home and found a male intruder looking through a purse. The man fled. A Vienna man, 31, was arrested nearby.

SOUTH FOUR MILE RUN DR., 3800 block, 4:27 p.m. Aug. 8. A resident returned home and found a man inside. The intruder fled with cash and jewelry.

SOUTH SHIRLINGTON RD., 2400 block, 4 p.m. Aug. 7 to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 8. A firearm was stolen from a business. The building was entered by breaking a window.

SOUTH 16TH ST., 2900 block, 2:30 p.m. Aug. 5 to 7 a.m. Aug. 6. A copier-fax machine and a water cooler were stolen from a business.

SOUTH 19TH ST., 2700 block, 10:30 a.m. Aug. 5 to 6:25 a.m. Aug. 6. A TV was stolen from a business, which was entered through a side window.

SOUTH 31ST ST., 4500 block, 7:30 a.m. to noon Aug. 6. A coin bank was stolen from a home.

NORTH RANDOLPH ST., 900 block. A red 1998 Toyota Camry was stolen.

SOUTH FOUR MILE RUN DR., 4600 block. A blue 1998 Ford Explorer was stolen.

SOUTH GRANT ST., 2900 block. A maroon 2004 Dodge Stratus was stolen.

NORTH 11TH ST., 2300 block. A black 1997 Nissan Altima was stolen.
