ROBBERIES

RIVA RD., 2600 block, Aug. 3. Detectives arrested a 38-year-old man in the 6800 block of High Bridge Road in Bowie in connection with the robbery of a store in Anne Arundel County.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

RIVER BAY RD., 1200 block, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 3. A residence was entered through a front window. Nothing was reported missing. There was no sign of forced entry.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

VALLEY RD., 1900 block, Aug. 2. A white 1994 Ford was stolen.

CHURCH ST., 400 block, 8 p.m. Aug. 8 to 4 p.m. Aug. 6. A bicycle was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a side window.

SEWARD AVE., 1-100 block, 10:30 to 11 p.m. Aug. 3. Cash was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a front door.

WAVERLY AVE., 400 block, 10 a.m. to 7:20 p.m. Aug. 3. Jewelry, a safe and other items were stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

10TH ST., 1-100 block, 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Aug. 3. A bicycle and lawn equipment were stolen from a residence entered by removing hinges.

FOXDALE CT., 1700 block, 1 p.m. Aug. 4 to 3:35 p.m. Aug. 8. Jewelry, a purse, audio recordings and other items were stolen from a residence. Two 14-year-old boys were arrested.

REMINGTON DR., 1700 block, 2 p.m. Aug. 2 to 10 p.m. Aug. 6. Cash was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a rear window.

SAPPINGTON Dr., 1500 block, Dec. 20. Tools were stolen from a residence.

Glen Burnie Area

ROBBERIES

FONTANA AND DARTON COURTS, 400 block, 12:21 a.m. Aug. 7. Four males got out of a car on Darton Court, punched a male youth, robbed him of a Walkman and fled in the vehicle.

GOVERNORS COURT AND HARRIS HEIGHTS AVENUE, 11:08 p.m. Aug. 6. A group of five or six males approached a pedestrian and one took the pedestrian's wallet and cash. They fled on foot.

ROUTE 2 AND EIGHTH AVENUE, 6 a.m. Aug. 8. Two men armed with a gun and a knife confronted a cabdriver and forced him to drive to various locations in Baltimore. The driver was robbed and stabbed, and the robbers fled on foot in the 2800 block of Frederick Road in Baltimore. The cabdriver drove himself to a hospital.

BEAVER RD., 7600 block, Aug. 7. Cash and jewelry were stolen from a residence entered by breaking a front glass door.

CRAIN HWY. N., 100 block, 4:30 a.m. Aug. 3. Property was stolen from a business entered by breaking a front window.

ROBBERIES

MOUNTAIN RD., 4400 block, 1:10 a.m. Aug. 8. A man wearing a ski mask and a hat and armed with a knife robbed a gas station of cash. Within 10 minutes, police found a suspect nearby on Woods Road. A 23-year-old Baltimore man was arrested.

SOLARI CT., 7800 block, 10:35 p.m. Aug. 8. A man stabbed another man after an argument at a residence. A 20-year-old man was arrested. A 21-year-old Pasadena man was taken to a hospital.

BALTIMORE ANNAPOLIS BLVD., 8300 block, 3 a.m. July 31 to 4:10 p.m. Aug. 2. IDs and a cash register were stolen from a business entered by breaking a rear glass door.

CHADWICK CT., 3600 block, 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Aug. 3. Liquor was stolen from a residence entered by breaking a rear window.

CORKBERRY LANE, 8000 block, 11:09 p.m. Aug. 2. A residence was entered. Nothing was reported missing. There was no sign of forced entry.

SEA PINE CIR., 1700 block, Aug. 2. A camera, cash, jewelry, audio recordings and video games and equipment were stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

BALTIMORE ANNAPOLIS TRAIL, 7 p.m. Aug. 10. A woman walking on a trail between McKinsey and Jones Station roads was sexually assaulted when a man dragged her into a wooded area after speaking briefly. The man, who had a tattoo of a red heart with the name Cheryl on his right shoulder, robbed the woman of cash from her purse and fled on a bike.

SCOTT TOWN RD., 1200 block, 9 p.m. Aug. 6 to noon Aug. 8. Furniture and TVs were stolen from a residence entered by breaking a front glass door.

TRUCK HOUSE RD., 100 block, 11:30 a.m. to 6:01 p.m. Aug. 3. Jewelry was stolen from a residence entered by breaking a rear glass door.
