MIXED DOUBLES LEAGUE: The Herndon Parks and Recreation Department is seeking players for its Fall Mixed Doubles Tennis League. Registration deadline is Sept. 10, and play will begin on Sept. 16. There are several divisions, and the cost of the league is $35 per doubles team or $20 for individuals (partners will be sought but are not guaranteed). All teams will play an eight-match regular season plus playoffs. All matches will be played at Bready Park on Sunday evenings starting at 4:30 and Thursday evenings starting at 6:30.
