Parenting Talks Now on TV

Parents who missed Anne Arundel Community College's brown-bag lunch lecture series on child-rearing can watch it on cable. "Parenting in Multicultural America," "Grandparenting in the 21st Century" and "The Future of Children" will air through Wednesday on Channel 95, Anne Arundel Community College television.

The lectures, sponsored by the college's Family Outreach Network, were led by Anne Arundel Community College Professors Jerina Wainwright and Lou Aymard and Family Outreach Network founder Marlene Welch. A History of Sea Chanteys

Members of the musical group Ship's Company Chanteymen will discuss their music during "A-Cruising We Will Go: The History of Sea Chanteys" from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the William Paca House and Garden, 186 Prince George St., Annapolis.

The musicians will sing, play traditional instruments and talk about the musical construction and use of sea chanteys. Tickets for the lecture and demonstration, sponsored by the Historic Annapolis Foundation, are $20 for the general public and $15 for Historic Annapolis Foundation members and volunteers.

Dance Toward an Audition

Anne Arundel Community College will host a dance audition workshop from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. Aug. 31 and Sept. 7 in Room 103 of the Cade Center for Fine Arts, Anne Arundel Community College, 101 College Pkwy., Arnold. The workshop, for dancers 17 and older, will focus on Broadway-style jazz technique.

Jodi Atkins, a choreographer and performer from Gambrills, will lead the free workshops.

Andover 30-Year Reunion

The Andover High School Class of 1974 will hold its 30-year reunion from 8 p.m. to midnight Sept. 11 at Windows on the Bay, 1402 Colony Rd., Pasadena. The reunion is open to graduates from 1973 to 1975. Tickets are $75 per person.
