The Friends Foundation, an Annapolis-based nonprofit fundraising organization, recently donated $50,000 to Hospice of the Chesapeake's "Strengthening the Circle of Care" campaign. The donation will help fund the John and Arloine Mandrin House, a hospice care home to be built in the Harwood section of southern Anne Arundel County. To date, Hospice of the Chesapeake, which provides hospice and bereavement care services to residents of Anne Arundel and Prince George's counties, has raised $4 million for the Mandrin House project.
