Camp abuse case: A 13-year-old Prince George's county boy has pleaded guilty to sexually abusing other campers last month at an overnight camp in Gainesville. The youth pleaded guilty to two counts of object sexual penetration in Prince William County's Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court, according to Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney Jeanice Wiethop.
A judge ordered the boy to undergo a psycho-sexual risk assessment evaluation. He could face a maximum sentence of 60 days in Prince William's juvenile detention center or have his entire sentence suspended, she said.
The boy was one of four youths arrested this month on charges of object sexual penetration, a felony. The three other boys, who include two camp counselors and another camper, are being held without bond and await a Sept. 3 trial in Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court. The four defendants are accused of abusing three campers.
