THEFTS/BREAK-INS

JUNCTION DR., 9900 block, 7 p.m. Aug. 11 to 7 a.m. Aug. 12. A computer monitor was stolen from a business entered by breaking a front glass door.

Columbia Area

ROBBERIES

STEVENS FOREST RD., 5800 block, 10:56 p.m. Aug. 6. During a robbery sting operation, an undercover officer was assaulted and robbed of cash. A 34-year-old man, two 19-year-old men and two juveniles were arrested in the incident.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BLUE POOL LANE, 8900 block, 8 to 10:30 a.m. Aug. 6. An electronic game, DVDs and a camera were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a window.

COLUMBIA RD., 5400 block, 11 p.m. Aug. 14 to 5:30 Aug. 16. Several video games were stolen from a ground-floor apartment.

FAREWELL RD., 9300 block, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Aug. 7. A TV and a DVD/VCR combination were stolen from a residence entered by using a ladder at the residence to enter an unlocked second-floor window.

GERWIG LANE, 9600 block, 10:58 p.m. Aug. 12. A computer monitor was stolen from an office entered by smashing a front door glass.

MORNINGBIRD LANE, 5800 block, 5:30 p.m. Aug. 16. A video game system, video games, and a watch were stolen from a residence entered by removing a metal grate from a basement rear window.

STEVENS FOREST RD., 5700 block, 2:45 a.m. to 5:20 p.m. Aug. 16. A resident sleeping on a couch in a residence awoke and saw a male in the room. The intruder fled when he was notice. A video game was reported missing.

TAMAR DR., 5900 block, 6:52 a.m. Aug. 6. Police responded to a burglary in progress at a residence, and found a male who attempted to flee from the residence. A man, age 43, was arrested.

WOODSTOCK RD., 1600 block, Aug. 14 to 2:12 p.m. Aug. 17. A snow-blower was stolen from an unlocked garage.

BROOK WAY, 5100 block, 12:12 p.m. Aug. 11. A Ford Expedition was stolen.

CORDAGE WALK, 10700 block, 5:13 a.m. Aug. 5. A 1994 Chevrolet Caprice Classic was stolen.

EAST WIND WAY, 10500 block, 2:20 p.m. Aug. 5. A blue 2003 Volkswagen was stolen.

EDEN BOOK DR., 7300 block, 5:43 p.m. Aug. 8. An attempt was made to steal a blue Oldsmobile Cutlass.

MOVING WATER LANE, 9000 block, 6:45 p.m. Aug. 6. A 2000 Honda Civic was stolen.

SILVER ARROWS WAY, 6100 block, Aug. 16. A silver 2002 Suzuki 1300 motorcycle was stolen.

DUCKETTS LANE AND ROUTE 1, 4:23 p.m. Aug. 16. A motorist picked up a male hitchhiker and reportedly robbed him of cash.

DEEP RUN PKWY., 6600 block, 6 p.m. Aug. 7 to 3:55 p.m. Aug. 8. An electric saw was stolen from a shed.

WASHINGTON BLVD., 6400 block, 4:45 a.m. Aug. 12. An attempt was made to enter a business by kicking a door.

BROOKDALE DR., 7100 block, 10 to 10:37 p.m. Aug. 5. A black 2000 Ford Explorer was stolen.

WASHINGTON BOULEVARD AND MONTGOMERY ROAD, 9:15 to 9:40 a.m. Aug. 14. A blue 1994 Chevrolet C1500 truck was stolen.

BALTIMORE NATIONAL PIKE, 8700 block, 5 p.m. Aug. 13 to 8 a.m. Aug. 16. Two saws were stolen from a business entered by forcing a bay door.

COLLEGE AVE., 4100 block, 8:23 p.m. Aug. 7. An attempt was made to enter a building by forcing a garage bay door.

COLUMBIA RD., 4600 block, 2:28 a.m. Aug. 7. Police responded to a neighborhood pool for a complaint of loud noise and found five juveniles at the pool. Five youths were arrested and later released to their parents.

FURROW AVE., 9200 block, 3 p.m. Aug. 15 to 7:30 a.m. Aug. 16. Computer equipment and jewelry were stolen from a residence entered through a basement window.

JOYCIN CT., 3600 block, 12:14 p.m. Aug. 5. An attempt was made to steal a red 1989 Jeep Cherokee.

FALLING WATERS CT., 9400 block, 5:23 p.m. Aug. 6. A residence was entered by forcing a window. Nothing was reported stolen.

THIRD ST., 9400 block, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 12. A video game system, a video game and a video were stolen from a residence entered through a rear basement window.
