THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ROBIN CT., Aug. 16. A heat pump and a Troy-Bilt generator were stolen from a house being built.

VEHICLE THEFTS

SKYVIEW DR., 12:52 a.m. Aug. 10. A vehicle was stolen from a residence but found 30 minutes later on Camp Canoy Road engulfed in flames.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY

DONALD'S WAY, Aug. 18. The windshields and side windows were smashed on three vehicles parked on the lot at Rich's Quick Lube.

St. Leonard Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

MACKALL RD., Aug. 18. Craftsman, Makita and DeWalt power tools were stolen from a residence.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CEDAR LANE, 9 a.m. Aug. 8 to 8 a.m. Aug. 10. Property was stolen from a residence.

INDIAN HEAD HWY., 4600 block, 5:40 p.m. Aug. 16 to 1:50 p.m. Aug. 21. The rear license plate was stolen from a vehicle parked at Johnny's Garage.

OAKSIDE LANE, 10 block, 1:30 p.m. Aug. 20 to 8 a.m. Aug. 21. A temporary license plate was stolen from a vehicle.

La Plata Area

ASSAULTS

MITCHELL RD., 8700 block, 4:38 p.m. Aug. 24. A man, 28, entered a residence and assaulted a woman, 26. He fled in a vehicle. He was found a short time later. He was charged with fleeing and eluding, second-degree assault, third-degree burglary and other traffic violations.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ANN HARBOR DR., 7800 block, 1-3 p.m. Aug. 20. A weed trimmer, money and guns were stolen from a residence. Jewelry was stolen from a residence in the 6900 block of Valley Road. A residence in the 200 block of Port Tobacco Road was entered, but the suspects fled when a resident confronted them. They fled in a 1995 gold Dodge Neon.

PORT TOBACCO RD., 8800 block, Aug. 17 to Aug. 22. Jewelry was stolen from a residence.

VALLEY RD., 6900 block, 1-3 p.m. Aug. 20. Jewelry was stolen from a residence.

Waldorf Area

ASSAULTS

CRAIN HWY., 9:52 p.m. Aug. 14. A woman, 44, assaulted a man, 51, at a residence. The man assaulted another man, 45, at the same residence. He was charged with first- and second-degree assault. Charges are pending against the woman.

ROBBERIES

MILLSTEAD CT., 3000 block, 10:18 p.m. June 13. A boy, 16, ordered food to be delivered at a residence. When the food arrived he stole it from a delivery person and fled. He was charged with robbery and theft of less than $500.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

AUGUSTA ST., 4200 block, 4:30 a.m. to midnight Aug. 19. DVDs, a watch and digital camera were stolen from a residence.

ST. CHARLES PKWY., 3900 block, 11 p.m. Aug. 19 to 8 a.m. Aug. 20. Someone attempted to break into the Top Nails Salon.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

HALSEY CT., 4-9 p.m. Aug. 12. A pit bull puppy was stolen from a fenced residence. The puppy is tan with a black face and a white patch on his chest.

THREE NOTCH RD., 3:40 p.m. Aug. 1. A girl, 16, pumped gas and left Sheetz without paying. She was charged with theft less than $500.

Great Mills Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

IVERSON DR., 10 p.m. Aug. 6 to 2:30 p.m. Aug. 7. Items were stolen from a 2003 Jaguar. The hood ornament on the vehicle was broken.

Leonardtown Area

ROBBERIES

ROUTE 5, 8 a.m. Aug. 21. Two armed robbers stole an undisclosed amount of money from Cedar Point Federal Credit Union.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ROUTE 5, 2 p.m. July 25 to 10:52 a.m. Aug. 10. A Dell flat screen computer monitor was stolen from a classroom at the College of Southern Maryland.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY

BEVERLY DR., 2:26 p.m. Aug. 17. A man, 32, used his vehicle to damage property. He was charged with malicious destruction of property.

Lexington Park Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

LEXINGTON PARK, Aug. 21. A Craftsman lawn mower and a Murray 22-inch push mower were stolen from a driveway at a residence.

LIBERTY ST., 2 a.m. Aug. 11. A man, 43, broke into a residence and stole a purse. He fled the scene in a vehicle. He was stopped a short time later. He was charged with burglary, theft less than $500 and DUI.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY

SOUTH HAMPTON DR., 1:19 a.m. Aug. 10. Bricks were thrown at two vehicles while they were traveling south on Route 235.

Mechanicsville Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

STANTON WAY, 8:38 p.m. Aug. 9. Withdrawals were made from a woman's bank account after she filled out an e-mail requesting an update on her account information.

VEHICLE THEFTS

MECHANICSVILLE, 10:54 a.m. Aug. 16. A man, 39, stole a vehicle and sold it. He was charged with theft of a motor vehicle, theft of more than $500, possession of a forged vehicle title and selling the vehicle to a third party.
