Nonprofit Adds a Director

Loudoun Cares, a nonprofit organization that runs a health and human services information and referral line and is looking for a campus to hold several of its members, has appointed Thomas M. Dunlap to its board of directors. Dunlap, 31, is a managing partner in the Leesburg and Winchester law firm Dunlap & Grubb P.C.

Dunlap & Grubb also announced the return of partner Daniel L. Grubb from a yearlong tour of duty in Afghanistan, during which he commanded a company of Afghan infantry and was awarded a Bronze Star. Dunlap and Grubb are cavalry officers in the Army National Guard.

Networking Breakfast

The Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce will hold a breakfast for business networking sponsored by MSE Productions from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Sept. 9, followed by a membership orientation from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Belmont Country Club, 19661 Belmont Manor Lane, Ashburn. $15 for members in advance, $18 for members at the door, $20 for non-members. Bowling Shop Moves
