ASHBURN SHOPPING PLAZA, 44000 block, 6:47 to 7:20 a.m. Aug. 29. Several video and digital cameras were stolen from a business entered by forcing a rear door.

BLACK HORSE SQ., 20000 block, 1 to 10:30 a.m. Aug. 27. A CD player was stolen from a vehicle.

BRAETON BAY TER., 20000 block, 7 p.m. Aug. 26 to 8:30 a.m. Aug. 27. A CD player was stolen from a vehicle.

MANEKIN PLAZA, 46000 block, 8 p.m. Aug. 28 to 10:30 a.m. Aug. 29. Cash was stolen from a business.

MOSSY GLEN TER., 21000 block, 12:01 to 9:50 a.m. Aug. 27. A stereo and CDs were stolen from a vehicle.

EVANS RIDGE TER. NE, 400 block, 5:33 a.m. Aug. 31. An assault was reported to police.

FORT EVANS RD. NE, 1 to 100 block, 6:06 p.m. Aug. 27. An argument at a residence was reported to police.

FORT EVANS RD. NE, 200 block, 7:41 p.m. Aug. 28. An assault at a business was reported to police.

HANCOCK PL. NE, 1 to 100 block, 8:12 p.m. Aug. 26. A fight involving two juveniles was reported to police.

HERITAGE WAY NE, 1 to 100 block, 1:26 a.m. Aug. 27. Police responded to an assault.

MARLOW ST. SW, 100 block, 7:48 p.m. Aug. 27. An argument was reported to police.

MEADOWS LANE NE, 100 block, 6:24 p.m. Aug. 28. Threats on a telephone answering machine were reported to police.

MEADOWS LANE NE, 100 block, 7:35 p.m. Aug. 28. Three residents at a rental property said their landlord had assaulted them with a machete. Police recovered a machete and two pieces of brass pipe from the residence. A 36-year-old man was charged in two felony warrants with malicious wounding and a misdemeanor warrant with assault and battery.

CANNONADE PL., 17000 block, 6:39 p.m. Aug. 24 to 8 a.m. Aug. 25. Cash was stolen from a cash register at a golf club.

EDWARDS FERRY RD. NE, 900 block, 6:37 p.m. Aug. 31. Shoplifting at a business was reported to police.

ENGLISH CT. SW, 100 block, 9:48 a.m. Aug. 30. Cigarettes and a toll road transponder were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

FORT EVANS RD., 200 block, 8:27 p.m. Aug. 29. Cash and checks were stolen from a business.

GOLF CLUB RD., 43000 block, 6 to 9 p.m. Aug. 27. A golf cart was stolen from a club.

MARKET ST. W., 1 to 100 block, 6:21 p.m. Aug. 27. A gray Haro BMX bicycle was stolen. The bicycle was later found in the 700 block of Fieldstone Dr.

OAKVIEW DR. SE, 100 block, 1:15 p.m. Aug. 28. A video camera was stolen. It was later recovered at Leesburg Exchange and Jewelry.

PLAZA ST. NE, 1 to 100 block, 6:50 p.m. Aug. 28. A backpack was stolen.

ROSEMEADE PL., 200 block, 7:51 p.m. Aug. 26. Documents and other property were stolen from a residence.

DUNCAN PL. SE, 800 block, 4:10 p.m. Aug. 27. A vehicle in a garage was scratched when a rock was thrown through a garage door window.

FAIRFAX ST., 1 to 100 block, 9:08 a.m. Aug. 28. Thirteen vehicles in a car dealership parking lot were damaged.

FORT EVANS RD. NE, 100 block, 7:58 p.m. Aug. 30. Telephone wires were pulled from a junction box at a business.

KING ST. S., 400 block, 9:36 a.m. Aug. 28. A concrete statue of a greyhound at a residence was knocked over and broken.

MARSHALL DR., 900 block, 8:05 p.m. Aug. 26. A window screen was cut.

PLAZA ST. NE, 1 to 100 block, 11:26 p.m. Aug. 30. Four vehicle tires were slashed.
