KING ST., 4600 block, 2:02 p.m. Aug. 30. Two men wearing ski masks and armed with handguns entered a bank and approached a bank manager. They announced a robbery, then went behind a counter, took money from teller drawers and fled.
REED AVE. W., 100 block, 8:27 p.m. Aug. 31. A man, 22, was approached by two men behind, and one took his wallet. They knocked him down and assaulted him. The victim ran away and was hit in the head with a rock. He was treated at a hospital.
WOLFE ST., 900 block, 3:05 p.m. Aug. 29. A man asked a woman, 27, for money, then grabbed her car keys from her hand and fled in her 1998 black Honda Civic.
KING ST., 3400 block, 3 p.m. Aug. 30 to 7 a.m. Aug. 31. A trailer was entered by breaking a lock, and auto parts were stolen.
ST. ASAPH ST. N., 200 block, 9 to 10 p.m. Aug. 25. A purse was stolen from an unlocked residence.
STEVENSON AVE., 5000 block, 6:40 p.m. Aug. 31. An employee confronted a male intruder in an office. The intruder left, and nothing was reported missing.
TENNESSEE AVE., 200 block, 7 p.m. Aug. 25 to 10 a.m. Aug. 26. A door window was broken to enter a residence. Nothing was reported missing.
MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS
ASCOT CT., 5500 block, 8 p.m. Aug. 27 to 8 a.m. Aug. 28. A black 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe was stolen.
SEMINARY RD., 4900 block, 9 p.m. Aug. 22 to 8:15 p.m. Aug. 25. A blue and white 2004 Suzuki motorcycle was stolen.
TERRACE CT., 3400 block, 5 p.m. Aug. 27 to 11:30 p.m. Aug. 29. A maroon 1990 Toyota Camry was stolen.

SOUTH FOUR MILE RUN DR., 6:45 p.m. Aug. 28. A man, 31, was working in a restaurant when a man who appeared intoxicated entered and ordered a beer. The employee refused to serve him. The man then threw bottles and destroyed furniture. He left when police were called. When the restaurant worker followed him, the man showed a knife and cut the employee on the arm. A man, 22, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with malicious wounding.
STAFFORD ST. N., 1100 block, 3:30 a.m. Aug. 29. A woman, 22, was walking on a sidewalk when she passed a man. He then grabbed her by the shoulders and forced her to the ground. She broke free by pushing her knee against his groin and biting him on the neck. The man fled south on North Stafford Street.
POTOMAC ST. N., 2400 block, 6:45 p.m. Aug. 26. A man on a bike rode by a woman, 24, and slapped her on the buttocks.
ADAMS ST. S., 2700 block, 3:35 a.m. Aug. 30. A man, 23, and a woman, 20, noticed a man watching them through a bedroom window and masturbating. When the male occupant called police, the intruder fled.
COLUMBIA PIKE, 5500 block, 6:45 a.m. Aug. 24. A man was observed exposing himself in the foyer of an office building.
IMPERSONATING A POLICE OFFICER
FAIRFAX DR. N., 3700 block, 6:45 a.m. Aug. 28. A woman, 51, was stopped by a man who was driving an unmarked navy blue Ford Crown Victoria with emergency lights. When the woman became suspicious and called police, he drove away.
ARLINGTON BLVD. N., 4500 block, 8:20 p.m. Aug. 28. A woman, 56, was approached by a man while she was unloading groceries from her vehicle. The man grabbed her purse and, after a brief struggle, fled with it. The woman saw a vehicle speed away that matched the description of a truck stolen earlier that day. The vehicle's owner saw it and called police. When police found the vehicle, the driver got out and fled.
ARLINGTON MILL RD. S., 800 block, 9:05 p.m. Aug. 29. A man, 29, left a restaurant and accepted a ride home in a vehicle occupied by several male strangers. While in the vehicle, the occupants tried to take his wallet. The man and two occupants then got out, and the men took the victim's wallet and beat him. They fled when several witnesses approached.
JUNE ST. S., 2700 block, 9:46 p.m. Aug. 27. Two men were paying a pizza deliveryman when one sprayed him with pepper. The other man, who had a hammer, chased him, demanding money. The victim escaped. When he returned to the scene, he discovered that his vehicle was missing. The vehicle was recovered nearby.
SOUTH FOUR MILE RUN DR., 4500 block, 2:15 a.m. Aug. 29. A man, 19, opened a door of his home and found three males, who asked for his roommate. When he said that his roommate was not there, the men entered and demanded money. The occupant resisted. One robber then showed a knife and cut him on the arm. After taking the victim's wallet and several sports jerseys, the men fled.
ARMY NAVY DR. S., 2400 block, 6:30 p.m. Aug. 31 to 8:20 p.m. Sept. 1. Car stereos were stolen from at least 10 vehicles.
DINWIDDIE ST. S., 1000 block, 1 to 7:49 a.m. Aug. 31. A residence was entered through a window, and a DVD player, stereo and DVDs were stolen.
LINCOLN ST. S., 800 block, 4:30 a.m. Aug. 25. A construction worker spending the night at a house under construction awoke and found a man standing in the house. The intruder fled when he saw the worker. Nothing was reported missing.
MONROE ST. N., 900 block, 7 p.m. Aug. 26 to 1 p.m. Aug. 27. A common room of a condominium complex was entered. Nothing was reported missing.
OAK ST. S., 800 bock, 1 to 7:30 a.m. Aug. 31. A residence was entered through a rear door. Nothing was reported missing.
STAFFORD ST. N., 1800 block, Aug. 15 to Aug. 22. Someone tried unsuccessfully to enter a residence by prying a front door.
25TH ST. S., 3400 block, 8:45 p.m. Aug. 22 to 7:15 p.m. Aug. 26. A residence was entered by climbing onto a balcony and opening a sliding glass door, and clothing and jewelry were stolen.

FLORIDA ST. N., 600 block. A gray 2000 Chevy Impala was stolen.
GEORGE MASON DR. N., 300 block. A white 1993 Ford pickup truck was stolen.
GREENBRIER ST. S., 800 block. A white 1994 Ford pickup truck was stolen.
HENDERSON RD. N., 4200 block. A black 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee was stolen.
QUINN ST. N., 1200 block. A green 1996 Honda Accord was stolen.
SOUTH FOUR MILE RUN DR., 4500 block. A blue 2004 Suzuki motorcycle was stolen.
