BROADVIEW DR., 1000 block, 11:30 p.m. Aug. 23 to 8 a.m. Aug. 24. A residence was entered by forcing a front window. Nothing was reported missing.

GENERALS HWY., 2000 block, 2:45 a.m. Aug. 30. A business was entered by forcing a rear door, and several vending machines and an ATM were forced open, and money was removed. A short time later, police stopped a vehicle seen leaving the area. A 19-year-old Capital Heights man and a 36-year-old Forestville man were arrested and charged with second-degree burglary and theft.

GENERALS HWY., 2000 block, 3:56 a.m. Aug. 25. A business was entered by forcing a front door. Nothing was reported missing.

GREEN WILLOW DR., 2800 block, 8 to 10 p.m. Aug. 28. Computer equipment was stolen from a residence.

PARK WEST DR., 7800 block, 4 a.m. Sept. 1. A man in a laundry business began playing video games. About 25 minutes later, he asked an employee for change. When the employee told him to use a change machine, the man pulled out a gun and demanded money. The employee complied, and the man fled on foot.

FORT SMALLWOOD RD., 8100 block, 11:49 p.m. Aug. 27. Police stopped to break up a fight and discovered that a woman had cut a female juvenile on the left side of her face with a box cutter. The juvenile was treated at a hospital. An 18-year-old Arnold woman was arrested and charged with first-degree assault, second-degree assault and reckless endangerment.

ASSAULTS

BOWMAN DR., 1800 block, 2 a.m. Aug. 29. Bullets were fired at a house. No injuries were reported.

WEST STREET AND LAFAYETTE AVENUE, 4:40 a.m. Aug. 29. A person was assaulted with a glass bottle.

HICKS AVE., 1-100 block, 1:19 a.m. Aug. 28. A 19-year-old man thwarted a robbery by wrestling a knife from the robber's hands. A short time later, police arrested a 41-year-old man and charged him with several offenses, including attempted armed robbery and assault.

MAIN ST., 200 block, 1:50 a.m. Aug. 22. Two 24-year-old men in a car were attacked and one was robbed of his watch and cash after they argued with a group of people in another vehicle blocking the road.

SIXTH ST., 300 block, 8:40 p.m. Aug. 22. A gunman robbed a service station of cash.
