Cibele Raimondo of Laurel recently joined the Annapolis-based Chambers Family Dentistry practice. Originally from Brazil, Raimondo received a bachelor's degree in neurobiology and physiology from the University of Maryland. She holds a doctor of dental surgery degree from the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery at the University of Maryland in Baltimore.
Surgical oncologists Samuel C. Bieligk of Westminster and Rod L. Flynn of Columbia were recently appointed to North Arundel Hospital's Tate Cancer Center medical staff.
Bieligk will serve as director of surgical oncology. He received a medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and completed an internship, residency and fellowship in general surgery at Tulane University Hospital and Clinic in New Orleans.
Flynn will serve as an oncology and general surgeon. He received a medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed a fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh.
Melvin Kelly of Severn was recently named chairman of the board of trustees of Mount Washington Pediatric Hospital, a specialty children's hospital in Baltimore. Kelly, who also sits on the North Arundel Health System board of directors, will serve a two-year term.
