YOUTH ORCHESTRA AUDITIONS, for prospective members of the Maryland Youth Symphony Orchestra and/or the orchestra's Youth Symphonette, under direction of the founder and conductor Angelo Gatto, musicians will learn and perform major symphonic repertoire, sponsored by the Maryland Youth Symphony Orchestra, auditions by appointment Saturdays, through Sept. 18, at the Community College of Baltimore County, Catonsville Campus, Humanities Building Q, 800 S. SENIORS ARTS AND CRAFTS PROGRAM, for ages 55 and older, 9:30-11:30 a.m. Sept. 21, "Herbal Wreath," create a wreath using fresh herbs, including mint, rosemary, sage, hops and dried flowers, held at the Florence Bain Senior Center, 5470 Ruth Keeton Way, Columbia. $23; registration required. 410-313-7279.
