Chesapeake Beach Area
MEARS AVE., 4:50 p.m. Aug. 31. A customer left the Rod 'N' Reel restaurant without paying his bill.
ROUTE 4, 8:24 p.m. Aug. 7. A man grabbed a woman's purse in the Safeway parking lot and fled in a mid-size SUV.
DUNKIRK, Sept. 9. Two men, both 26, and a woman, 25, were arrested in connection with a series of thefts from vehicles parked in the Dunkirk Baptist Church and Dunkirk District Park parking lots and two burglaries in the Prince Frederick area. They were charged with numerous counts of burglary.
ROUTE 4, 6:30 to 7:53 p.m. Sept. 3. A purse was stolen from a vehicle parked at Dunkirk District Park. A credit card in the purse was used to buy $1,200 in gift cards from a Safeway.
SMITHVILLE DR., 7:50 a.m. Aug. 31. A purse was stolen from a vehicle. It was recovered in a yard a short time later. Nothing appeared to be missing.
LOWER MARLBORO RD., July 30. Property was stolen from a residence.
North Beach Area
FREDERICK AVE., Sept. 1. A sliding glass door was shattered with an unknown object. Nothing was reported stolen.
CHESAPEAKE BEACH RD. E., 9:04 a.m. Aug. 30. Several computers were removed from a business.
MOUNT HARMONY RD., Aug. 18. A video game was stolen from a bar.
Prince Frederick Area
DARES BEACH RD., 11 to 11:46 a.m. Aug. 28. A wallet was stolen from a vehicle parked at Windsor's E-Z Stop.
St. Leonard Area
ST. LEONARD RD., 8:56 a.m. Aug. 30. Tools were stolen from a shed at a residence. Items were also removed from an unsecured barn at the residence next door.

Bryans Road Area
INDIAN HEAD HWY., 6900 block, 2:36 a.m. Sept. 4. Tools were stolen from Bryans Road Auto Parts.
MALL CIR., 11100 block, 1 p.m. Aug. 30. Two purses were stolen from two women ages 74 and 87. A man, 19, was charged with robbery, two counts of theft and possession of marijuana.
OCTOBER PL., 3000 block, 3:15 p.m. Aug. 31. Two people attempted to steal a man's wallet. The man was able to escape, and the suspects fled.
FESTIVAL WAY, 2900 block, 11 p.m. Sept. 5 to 7:30 a.m. Sept. 6. Someone broke into the Topus Tanning Salon. Nothing was reported missing.
HUMMINGBIRD CT., 4:30 p.m. Aug. 31. A bicycle was stolen from a residence. A boy, 14, was charged with theft under $500.
HYACINTH PL., 3400 block, 5:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Aug. 31. Cash was stolen from a residence.
MALL CIR., 11100 block, 3 to 5 p.m. Sept. 5. A lawn mower was stolen from the back of a truck parked at St. Charles Town Center.
White Plains Area
CRAIN HWY., 4400 block, 4 a.m. Sept. 5. Cash and cigarettes were stolen from White Plains Wine and Spirits.
St. Mary's County

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY
SMITH LANE, Sept. 8. A woman's belongings were burned. A man was charged with malicious burning.
Great Mills Area
STONEY FORD WAY, 4:58 p.m. Sept. 2. A girl, 16, was assaulted at a residence. A boy, 14, was charged with second-degree assault.
ROUTE 5, Aug. 21. The Cedar Point Federal Credit Union was robbed. A man, 43, was charged with armed robbery, theft over $500 and false imprisonment.
LEONARDTOWN, 5:35 p.m. Sept. 6. A woman, 34, was assaulted at a residence. A man, 35, was charged with second-degree assault.
WOODMERE DR., 12:11 p.m. Sept. 5. A residence was broken into. Three boys, all 13, were charged with third-degree burglary and malicious destruction of property.
Lexington Park Area
LEXINGTON PARK, Sept. 8. An apartment was broken into and property destroyed. A man was charged with burglary and destruction of property.
SUNNYSIDE RD., midnight Sept. 1 to 1:18 p.m. Sept. 5. An attempt was made to enter a residence. Nothing was reported stolen, but the residence was damaged.
THREE NOTCH RD., 3 to 3:20 a.m. Sept. 5. Someone attempted to break into Kelly's Nail Salon. Nothing was reported stolen.
