HOMICIDES

BENNING RD., 4500 block, 3:14 a.m. Aug. 31. An unidentified male was found on a street with a gunshot wound. He was taken to the Prince George's Hospital Center, where he was pronounced dead.

EADS ST., 5600 block, 2:20 a.m. Aug. 27. James Hudson, 18, of the 700 block of Adrian Street SE, was found on a sidewalk with gunshot wounds. He was taken to Prince George's Hospital Center, where he was pronounced dead.

33RD PL. AND RHODE ISLAND AVE., 3:21 a.m. Aug. 30. Kiysha Hunter, 29, of the 3100 block of Good Hope Avenue, Temple Hills, Md., and Kenneth Green, 23, of the 5200 block of Astor Place SE, were found in a vehicle with gunshot wounds. They were taken to Washington Hospital Center, where they were pronounced dead.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

DIVISION AVE., 800 block, 2:30 to 3:30 a.m. Aug. 29. A male driver sexually assaulted a female passenger in his vehicle.

SEVENTH AND HAMLIN STREETS, 9 to 9:04 p.m. Aug. 27. A male exposed himself to a female pedestrian and showed cash.

ROBBERIES

BENNING RD., 1500 block, 5:28 p.m. Aug. 28. A male snatched a purse containing cash from the hand of a female pedestrian.

EASTERN AVE., 800 block, 11 to 11:01 a.m. Aug. 29. A male youth sprayed a chemical in a male pedestrian's face and attempted to rob him of a weapon. A struggle ensued, and the assailant fled with a male accomplice without obtaining anything.

HAYES ST., 3800 block, noon to 12:01 p.m. Aug. 30. Three gunmen accosted four people in a laundry room and took a wallet.

NEAL ST., 1500 block, 6:15 p.m. Aug. 28. A male robbed a female pedestrian of a purse containing cash and a paycheck.

NEWTON ST., 1600 block, 8:30 to 8:35 p.m. Aug. 30. A male snatched a purse from a female pedestrian, then fled when she shouted for

help.

ORLEANS PL., 600 block, 3 a.m. Aug. 27. Two gunmen forced a male pedestrian into an alley and threatened him. No further information was provided by police.

RHODE ISLAND AVE., 500 block, 10:27 to 10:30 a.m. Aug. 31. A male demanded that an employee open a cash register in a store. The employee complied, and the robber snatched cash and other property.

SHERIFF RD., 4300 block, 11:15 a.m. Aug. 30. A gunman and a male accomplice got out of a vehicle, chased a male pedestrian and robbed him of cash.

SOUTH DAKOTA AVE., 5500 block, 4:34 p.m. Aug. 29. Two gunmen robbed a convenience store of cash.

SUMMIT CT , 3400 block, 9 to 9:05 p.m. Aug. 29. A gunman forced a male pedestrian to the ground and robbed him of cash, jewelry and a check.

FOURTH ST. AND RHODE ISLAND AVE., 11:15 a.m. Sept. 1. A male and a female assaulted a male pedestrian and forced him to the ground. No further information was provided by

11TH ST., 700 block, 1:45 p.m. Sept. 1. A man assaulted a male pedestrian and took property. A man, 38, was arrested.

12TH ST., 3600 block, 9:40 to 9:44 p.m. Aug. 29. A male snatched a hip pack containing cash from a female pedestrian, then fled in a vehicle.

12TH ST., 3600 block, 9 to 9:15 a.m. Aug. 30. A male demanded that an employee in a convenience store open a cash register. The employee complied, and the robber snatched cash.

16TH ST., 700 block, 3:21 a.m. Aug. 31. A gunman and a male accomplice robbed two pedestrians of cash, then fled in a vehicle.

LONGFELLOW ST., noon to 12:01 a.m. Aug. 14. A 41-year-old man sexually assaulted a female relative in a home.

ROBBERIES

CLIFTON ST., 1300 block, 2 a.m. Aug. 27. Three males showed guns and demanded money from two pedestrians. No further information was provided by police.

DESALES ST., 1700 block, 5:45 to 5:48 a.m. Aug. 28. A man asked a pedestrian for a dollar. After the pedestrian gave him one, the man took his jacket and fled.

DUPONT CIRCLE, 1-99 block, 11 to 11:05 a.m. Aug. 31. A male holding an object under his jacket robbed another male in a park area.

ELM ST., 200 block, 10:50 p.m. Aug. 30. Two gunmen robbed two pedestrians of property and walked away.

FORT STEVENS DR., 1300 block, 10:45 to 10:50 p.m. Sept. 1. A gunman, accompanied by another male, threatened to kill a 37-year-old man in an apartment building stairway, then beat him and took a backpack and keys.

GEORGIA AVE. AND OTIS PL., 1:15 a.m. Aug. 26. Two men snatched property from a female pedestrian.

GEORGIA AVE., 6400 block, 3 p.m. Aug. 29. A man snatched a purse from a 45-year-old woman at a bus stop.

H ST., 700 block, 10:45 p.m. Aug. 31. Three men entered a restaurant. One snatched property and fled with the others.

KANSAS AVE., 4000 block, 12:40 a.m. Aug. 31. A man entered a cab on Florida Avenue NW and was taken to Kansas Avenue NW, where he put a gun to the back of the driver's head and said, "You can make this easy or hard." No further information was provided by police.

KANSAS AVE., 5300 block, 3:15 a.m. Aug. 30. Two male teenagers robbed a 17-year-old

female pedestrian of a cell phone at

gunpoint.

LAMONT ST., 700 block, 10:35 p.m. Aug. 27. A driver picked up a man at 14th and P streets NW and took him to Lamont Street NW, where the passenger told him he was "the Dupont Circle robber." He took money and fled.

LAMONT ST., 1800 block, 11:50 p.m. Aug. 29. Two males allegedly robbed another male at knifepoint on the street. The alleged victim said he decided not to press charges because he knew one of the robbers.

NICHOLSON ST., 1300 block, 2:55 to 3 p.m. Aug. 28. A 20-year-old man choked a female acquaintance in a home, forced her onto a couch and fled with property from her purse.

O ST., 1600 block, 1:40 a.m. Aug. 28. A man knocked a male pedestrian down and took his wallet.

OAK ST., 1500 block, 6 a.m. Aug. 30. Two people pushed, grabbed and robbed a male pedestrian.

ORDWAY ST., 2700 block, 1:45 to 2 a.m. Aug. 27. Two males pushed a female pedestrian to the ground. One tried to take her bag, but she kicked him away. The other jumped on her and pulled her bag, but she did not give it up. The males fled empty-handed.

RHODE ISLAND AVE., 1300 block, 8:15 p.m. Aug. 29. A man showed a gun and demanded money from a pedestrian. No further information was provided by police.

SHEPHERD ST., 900 block, 4:45 p.m. Aug. 5. Eight people were involved in a robbery on the sidewalk. A Social Security card, three credit cards, a cell phone, a mini bike, a wallet and a driver's license were taken.

TAYLOR ST., 1300 block, 6:25 a.m. Sept. 1. Two men followed a 40-year-old man from 13th Street NW, and one put him in a chokehold. The victim fainted, and when he regained consciousness, he discovered that an IRS check and credit cards were missing.

K ST., 1-99 block, 3:50 a.m. Aug. 30. Two males approached a pedestrian from behind. One grabbed the pedestrian's neck, showed a gun and took property.

THIRD ST., 4300 block, 3:35 p.m. Aug. 30. Two people got out of a car and took a radio battery, a police radio, a vest and other property from an off-duty police officer. The officer fought with one man, who fled with the other robber. A man, 44, was arrested.

FOURTH AND ELM STREETS, 1 a.m. Aug. 30. Eight to 10 people surrounded a pedestrian. A male teenager said, "Can I have your wallet please?" The pedestrian handed over his wallet, which was returned missing cash.

FOURTH ST. AND FLORIDA AVE., 5:30 p.m. Aug. 30. A male asked another male for the time at a parking area, then robbed him of cash, a wallet and a watch at gunpoint.

FIFTH ST., 1200 block, 9:35 p.m. Sept. 1. A man robbed a pedestrian of property at gunpoint and fled on a mountain bike.

SEVENTH AND Q STREETS, 8:35 p.m. Aug. 28. A male on a mountain bike robbed a pedestrian at gunpoint.

SEVENTH ST., 1500 block, 8:34 p.m. Aug. 30. A gunman ordered ice cream at a store, then pointed a gun at a cashier and fled with cash.

SEVENTH ST., 1600 block, 5:50 p.m. Aug. 31. A convenience store was robbed at gunpoint.

NINTH ST., 1900 block, 12:20 a.m. Aug. 30. A man and a woman, one armed with a gun, took property from three people at a bar and fled.

11TH AND MONROE STREETS, 3:30 a.m. Aug. 28. A male got into a car with four men and went with them to buy beer. When he decided to walk home and got out, the four men forced him to the ground, and one robbed him at knifepoint.

11TH ST., 1700 block, 11:45 p.m. to 12:17 a.m. Sept. 2. A female teenager displayed a knife and took another female's car in an alley. A female, 15, was arrested.

12TH ST., 700 block, 1:30 a.m. Aug. 28. A man robbed a male pedestrian of cash and a cell phone at knifepoint and fled with another man.

14TH AND IRVING STREETS, 6 a.m. Aug. 30. A robber snatched a gold necklace from a pedestrian, scratching her chest. The pedestrian saw the robber later and flagged down police. An arrest was made.

14TH AND OGDEN STREETS, 1:55 a.m. Aug. 28. Three males robbed a male pedestrian. One cut him in the face with a blunt metal object.

MARION ST., 1600 block, 11:30 a.m. Aug. 31. While a resident was working upstairs at home, a burglar entered the house through a back door, stole keys and other property, then took a vehicle.

P ST., 600 block, 7:30 to 7:40 a.m. Aug. 31. A resident noticed a male intruder in his home. The intruder begged him not to call police and said someone told him to enter through an unlocked window. No further information was provided by police.

PARK RD., 1200 block, 7:30 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. Aug. 31. Cash, tools, bikes, DVDs and other property were taken from a home entered by forcing a front door.

PENNSYLVANIA AVE., 600 block, 5:30 p.m. Aug. 27 to 9 a.m. Aug. 30. A front door of an office building was forced in an attempt to enter.

PENNSYLVANIA AVE., 2000 block, 10 p.m. Aug. 27 to 8:30 a.m. Aug. 30. An office suite was ransacked, and three computer monitors were smashed.

PERRY PL., 1400 block, 10:45 to 11:05 p.m. Sept. 1. A man entered an occupied home and destroyed property. He fled with a dress, a cell phone and keys.

RANDOLPH PL., 1-99 block, 7:05 to 11:25 a.m. Sept. 2. Two laptop computers and two bikes were taken from a home entered through a rear basement door with a broken lock.

ALABAMA AVE., 2900 block, noon to 2 p.m. Aug. 25. A DVD player was stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked rear window.

BENNING RD., 5000 block, 11 p.m. Aug. 31 to 6:35 a.m. Sept. 1. Bank checks were stolen from a restaurant entered by breaking a lock on a rear door.

BOWEN RD., 2600 block, 8 a.m. to 4:04 p.m. Aug. 30. Cash, video game consoles, a home theater system and a TV were stolen from an apartment.

D ST., 600 block, 9:45 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 1. Property was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a rear door.

E ST., 1200 block, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 30. Property was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a basement door.

ELVANS RD., 2400 block, 6:30 to 7:50 p.m. Sept. 1. TVs, video games, clothes, food, a DVD player, a video game console and a stereo were stolen from an apartment.

FOXHALL PL., 500 block, 5 p.m. Aug. 27 to 9 a.m. Aug. 28. Tools, light fixtures and tiles were stolen from a residence entered through a front door.

G ST., 600 block, 10:41 p.m. Aug. 26 to 1:30 p.m. Aug. 27. Property was stolen from a residence entered by smashing a rear window.

G ST., 700 block, 7 p.m. Aug. 27 to 8:45 a.m. Aug. 28. A radio and a laptop computer were stolen from a residence entered by smashing a window.

GOOD HOPE RD., 2300 block, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Aug. 24. DVDs were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a front door.

GORMAN TER , 4300 block, 2 a.m. to 8:40 p.m. Sept. 2. Jewelry was stolen from a residence entered by breaking a glass pane in a basement door.

HOWARD RD., 1300 block, 6 to 6:30 p.m. Aug. 28. DVD players and video game consoles were stolen from an apartment.

KNOX PL., 2900 block, 4:30 a.m. Aug. 30. Video games and video game consoles were taken by a gunman and two male accomplices who forced their way into a residence and bounded a male and a female with tape.

MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. AVE., 2200 block, 11 p.m. Sept. 1 to 8 a.m. Sept. 2. Purses, a TV, a CD player, a CD and a telephone were stolen from a hair salon entered through an adjoining door to a medical office.

OAKWOOD ST., 200 block, 11:45 a.m. to 5:50 p.m. Aug. 27. A computer was stolen from a residence.

PENNSYLVANIA AVE., 600 block, 11:15 to 11:30 p.m. Aug. 27. An attempt was made to enter a nightclub by breaking a window in the roof.

PITTS PL., 2300 block, 1:30 to 2 p.m. Sept. 2. A male entered an apartment by kicking a front door and assaulted a female acquaintance.

ROBINSON PL., 2800 block, 8 p.m. Aug. 7 to 6:15 p.m. Sept. 1. DVD players, DVDs, videotapes, furniture and a TV were stolen from an apartment.

ROBINSON PL., 2800 block, 7:57 p.m. Sept. 1. A male forced his way into an apartment and threatened to assault a female resident.

SAVANNAH ST., 400 block, 8 a.m. Aug. 25 to 10 p.m. Aug. 29. Cookware, a stereo, a cordless phone, a kitchen appliance and a TV were stolen from a residence entered by prying security bars from a side window.

SEWARD SQ., 400 block, 4 p.m. Aug. 12 to 6 a.m. Aug. 29. Property was stolen from a residence entered by kicking a door.

FIFTH ST., 200 block, 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 20. A bicycle was stolen from a residence entered by prying a front door.

NINTH ST., 3800 block, 2:15 a.m. Aug. 30. A video game console, jewelry and a purse ( containing cash, documents and a debit card) were stolen from a residence.

YOUNT ST., 11 p.m. Aug. 26 to 2:30 a.m. Aug. 27. A man hit and raped his wife in a home. A man was arrested.

ROBBERIES

FOURTH AND M STREETS, 1:50 a.m. Aug. 28. A gunman robbed a male at an ATM. When the gunman's accomplice said they wanted more money, the victim walked away.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

G ST., 1-99 block, 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Aug. 30. Property was taken from a home entered by smashing a rear window.

GALVESTON PL., 1-99 block, 8:30 a.m. Aug. 27 to 12:05 a.m. Aug. 29. A TV, a DVD player, a receiver, a computer system, a monitor and a TV cable box were taken from an apartment entered through a bedroom window. The home was ransacked.

SIXTH ST., 600 block, 10 a.m. Aug. 29. Window bars were pried, a window was smashed and a screen was broken in an attempt to enter a house.
