AUTO PARK DR., 10400 block, 5:45 a.m. Aug. 28. A Silver Spring man, 35, was charged with second-degree burglary, theft over $500 and malicious destruction of property over $500 in connection with an incident at the above location.

BATTERY LANE, 4900 block, 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 2. A video game system and games were stolen from a residence.

BRENT BRANCH RD., 5700 block, 11:05 to 11:15 a.m. Sept. 4. Silver flatware and jewelry were stolen from a residence.

INDECENT EXPOSURE

AVON DR., 5900 block, 12:35 p.m. Aug. 26. A man exposed himself to two Bethesda male pedestrians, both age 14.

KEY WEST AVE., 9900 block, 10:57 p.m. Aug. 31. A man pushed a Germantown woman, 42, causing her to fall and robbed her of a purse containing cash.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

FLAG HARBOR DR., 12100 block, 1 p.m. Aug. 30. A residence was entered by forcing open a door. Nothing was reported missing.

FREDERICK RD., 24100 block, 2:30 p.m. Aug. 28 to 6:01 a.m. Aug. 30. Construction equipment was stolen from a construction trailer entered by forcing open a door.

SWEET GUM CIR., 19900 block, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 30. Coins and checks, a video game system and games, and an air purifier were stolen from a residence entered by kicking open a door.

INDECENT EXPOSURE

GUNNERS BRANCH RD., 19600 block, 5 p.m. Sept. 1. A man wearing no clothes came out of an apartment and walked to a community trash can.

ASSAULTS

CLOPPER RD., 700 block, 8 p.m. Sept. 2. A West Virginia man, 35, was charged with first-degree assault in connection with an incident at the above location.

CLOPPER RD., 12000 block, 7:55 p.m. Aug. 24. A male motorist driving in a parking lot struck a male pedestrian, 58, of Boyds, on his right side, shouted at the pedestrian and drove away.

NANCY PL., 1 to 100 block, 11:19 p.m. Aug. 31. A Gaithersburg man, 27, was charged with attempted first-degree assault, second-degree assault, reckless endangerment and possession of a deadly weapon; and a Gaithersburg woman , 21, was charged with attempted first- and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment and possession of a deadly weapon -- both in connection with an incident at the above location.

ROBBERIES

WALKERS CHOICE RD., 18600 block, 1:15 a.m. Aug. 27. Two males accosted a Gaithersburg man, 36, who was then hit with a black tube and robbed of cash.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

GAME PRESERVE RD., 11400 block, 10 p.m. Aug. 30. Cash and a wallet were stolen from a residence entered by breaking a window.

GAME PRESERVE RD., 11400 block, 3:30 to 8 a.m. Sept. 4. Cash, a wallet and a purse were stolen from a residence.

LOST KNIFE CIR., 18300 block, 10:45 a.m. Sept. 5 to 12:15 a.m. Sept. 6. A DVD player and VCRs were stolen from a residence entered by breaking a door.

ROUNDLEAF WAY, 9100 block, 5 p.m. Sept. 2 to noon Sept. 4. Scooters were stolen from a garage.

SHARPSTEAD LANE, 100 block, Aug. 30. A Gaithersburg man, 39, was charged Aug. 30 with first-degree burglary and second-degree assault in connection with an incident at the above location.

TOWNE CREST DR., 17700 block, 9:30 to 9:40 p.m. Sept. 4. A residence was entered by forcing open a door. Nothing was reported missing.

MONTGOMERY VILLAGE AVE., 18300 block, 6 to 9 p.m. Aug. 25. Computers, a projector and a doll were stolen from a business.

ASSAULTS

ROCKVILLE AREA, 5:30 a.m. Sept. 5. A Kensington woman, 20, was raped.

TRAVILLE GATEWAY DR., 9700 block, Aug. 30. A North Potomac male pedestrian, 40, in a parking lot jumped out of the way of a vehicle and then the driver made a U-turn and drove towards the male and shouted at him.

TWINBROOK PKWY., 13200 block, 7 p.m. Sept. 2. A man grabbed a Rockville female pedestrian inappropriately, then walked away.

ROBBERIES

ROCKVILLE AREA, 3:15 a.m. Sept. 6. Four males, armed with a handgun entered a residence and sexually assaulted a Rockville woman, 19, and robbed her of a wallet and three laptop computers. An Upper Marlboro youth, 16, was charged with rape and first-degree burglary; a Potomac boy, 17, was charged with first-degree rape, first-degree burglary and the use of a handgun in the commission of a felony; and a Potomac man, 19, was charged with first-degree rape, first-degree sex offense, first-degree burglary and the use of a handgun in the commission of a felony.

BAEDERWOOD LANE, 16500 block, 12:44 p.m. Aug. 24. Cash was stolen from a residence.

CANDLELIGHT LANE, 11000 block, 6 a.m. Aug. 12 to 1 p.m. Aug. 26. Cash and jewelry were stolen from a residence.

DEMOCRACY BLVD., 10200 block, 5:15 p.m. Aug. 30. A residence was entered by breaking a door. Nothing was reported missing.

POTOMAC OAKS DR., 11400 block, 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 2. A laptop computer, silverware and jewelry were stolen from a residence.

TRAVILLE GARDEN CIR., 14400 block, 9 a.m. Aug. 1 to 8 a.m. Aug. 11. Cash, radios, CDs, DVDs and jewelry were stolen from a residence.

TWINBROOK PKWY., 12700 block, 11 p.m. Aug. 27 to 6 a.m. Aug. 28. Cash and a cash register were stolen from a business entered by breaking a door.

VILLAGE SQUARE TER., 12200 block, 2 p.m. Aug. 6 to 4:40 p.m. Aug. 26. A laptop computer, a video game system and DVDs were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a door.

VILLAGE SQUARE TER., 12300 block, 7:30 a.m. Aug. 26 to 9:45 p.m. Aug. 29. A DVD-and-VCR player and jewelry were stolen from a residence.

VANDALISM

TILDEN LANE AREA, 2:30 a.m. Sept. 6. Outside mirrors of numerous vehicles were broken off and a windshield on a vehicle was smashed.

Silver Spring District

ASSAULTS

CASTLE BLVD., 14100 block, 9:58 p.m. Aug. 29. A Silver Spring man, 38, was charged Aug. 29 with first-degree assault, second-degree assault, reckless endangerment and carrying a concealed deadly weapon in connection with an incident at the above location.

HEATHER HOLLOW CIR., 1500 block, 1:57 a.m. Sept. 6. A domestic dispute occurred. Police found a man and a woman inside an apartment suffering from stab wounds. Both were transported to a local hospital and the woman died from her wounds.

SILVER SPRING AREA, 3 p.m. Aug. 30. A Silver Spring woman, 19, was raped at a residence.

ROBBERIES

BLACKBURN LANE, 3900 block, 9:17 p.m. Sept. 7. A Silver Spring man responded to a knock on the door and a male armed with a gun attempted to enter the residence. The man slammed the door shut and called the police.

COLESVILLE RD., 10400 block, 11:05 a.m. Sept. 1. A man forced down a Silver Spring woman, 46, robbed her of a deposit bag and fled in a vehicle driven by a second male.

GEORGIA AVE., 8200 block, 10:24 a.m. Aug. 28. A male in a store demanded cash from an employee and took cash from a register.

GEORGIA AVE., 13500 block, 11:14 a.m. Aug. 28. A male grabbed a purse of a Silver Spring woman, 44, and she let it go when a second male pulled out a handgun.

HEARTFIELDS DR., 1100 block, 8:36 p.m. Sept. 4. A male forced down a Silver Spring man, 48, as he got out of his vehicle, pointed a gun to his head and demanded the vehicle's keys. A second male removed cash from his pants pockets and both men fled in the vehicle. The abandoned vehicle was recovered Sept. 7 by Montgomery County Police.

NEW HAMPSHIRE AVE., 11100 block, 12:45 p.m. Sept. 7. Two males entered a bank, accosted two different tellers and gave notes announcing a robbery and indicating they were armed with handguns. The males robbed the bank of cash and fled on foot.

OLD COLUMBIA PIKE, 13800 block, 7:05 p.m. Aug. 29. Several juveniles attempted to purchase cigarettes from a store and one of the juveniles pulled out a knife. The assailants fled when a customer arrived.

BARRON ST., 8000 block, 4 p.m. Aug. 26 to 8 a.m. Aug. 27. A drill and saws were stolen from a residence entered by forcing open a window.

BRONZEGATE BLVD., 1900 block, 11:30 a.m. to noon. A residence was entered by breaking a window. Nothing was reported missing.

SUTHERLAND RD., 10000 block, 4 p.m. Aug. 12 to 3:30 p.m. Aug. 28. A residence was entered by breaking a window. Nothing was reported missing.

THAYER AVE., 900 block, Aug. 31. A man, 36, of no fixed address, was charged Aug. 30 with breaking and entering a storehouse, fourth-degree burglary and hindering a police officer in connection with an incident at the above location.

TIMBERWOOD AVE., 300 block, 11:41 p.m. Aug. 29. A residence was entered by breaking a window. Nothing was reported missing.

WOODLAND DR., 10000 block, 8:50 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 30. Two recording devices were stolen from a residence entered by breaking a door.

ASSAULTS

UNIVERSITY BLVD. W., 3800 block, 7:30 p.m. Sept. 1. Two males approached a gas station booth and one of the males attempted to purchase a cigar without cash and the Hyattsville male employee, 53, refused to give him the cigar. The males banged on the door and one of the males pulled out a knife and the other male threw food at the window. The robbers fled in a vehicle.

UNIVERSITY BLVD., 2400 block, 9:30 a.m. Aug. 27. A man implied he was armed with a weapon and took cash from a Silver Spring woman entering a business.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

FAULKNER PL., 2900 block, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 30. Electronic equipment was stolen from a residence entered by breaking a window.

GRAND VISTA DR., 11500 block, 11:26 a.m. Aug. 27. A Derwood man, 23, was charged first-degree burglary and second-degree assault in connection with an incident at the above location.

NORBECK RD., 5100 block, 12:40 to 12:44 p.m. Aug. 24. Cash was stolen from a residence.

PEEPING TOM INCIDENTS

MAHAN RD., 4300 block, 10:50 p.m. Sept. 2. A man went up a ladder to a second-floor bedroom and looked into a window, then fled in a vehicle.
