ROBBERIES

BEALE CT. AND BARKSDALE ST., 5:55 p.m. Sept. 1. Two males punched a pedestrian, 15, and robbed him of cash. Two Dale City youths, 16 and 17, were arrested.

CLOVERDALE DR., 15100 block, 9:26 p.m. Sept. 6. A man flagged down a male motorist, 19, claiming to need help. After the man got into the car, he showed a knife, attempted to choke the driver, took cash and fled.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BUFFALO CT., 3500 block, 4 p.m. Sept. 3 to 5:03 p.m. Sept. 5. A lawn mower was stolen from a house.

ISLAND HOUSE LOOP, 12800 block, 10:30 a.m. to 5:40 p.m. Sept. 6. Jewelry was stolen from a house entered by forcing a window screen.

QUATE LANE, 13500 block, 12:15 p.m. Sept. 4. Two men who claimed to be police officers stopped a pedestrian, 33, and asked to see his wallet. After the wallet was returned to him, the pedestrian discovered that it was missing cash.

SARATOGA LANE, 100 block, 5:30 a.m. Sept. 3. A paint sprayer was stolen from a house under construction.

SATTERFIELD DR., 5300 block, 10:30 p.m. Sept. 1 to 8:30 a.m. Sept. 2. A chain saw and four wheels were stolen from a house.

SUDBERRY LANE, 5200 block, 10 p.m. Aug. 31 to 5:40 a.m. Sept. 1. A 2004 Kawasaki all-terrain vehicle was stolen from a yard at a house.

BARCELONA CT., 15800 block, 3:10 p.m. Sept. 2 to 5:25 a.m. Sept. 3. A gun was stolen from a house entered through a garage.

MINNIEVILLE RD., 12700 block, 7:20 a.m. to 3:40 p.m. Sept. 3. Four wheels were stolen from a car at a commuter lot.

PILGRIM DR., 2000 block, 10 p.m. Sept. 3 to 5 a.m. Sept. 4. CDs and other property were stolen from a car at a house.

SALEMTOWN DR., 12100 block, 10 p.m. Sept. 2 to 5 a.m. Sept. 3. Four wheels were stolen from a car at a house.

LINTON HALL RD., 7500 block, 5:30 to 5:46 p.m. Sept. 2. A man exposed himself to a woman, 23, outside a business.

ASHVILLE ST., 10100 block, 8 p.m. Sept. 1 to 6:30 a.m. Sept. 2. Stereo equipment was stolen from an SUV at a house. The vehicle was entered by breaking a window.

ELSINORE DR., 7800 block, 9 p.m. Aug. 31 to 10 a.m. Sept. 1. Stereo equipment, a DVD player and cash were stolen from an SUV at a house.

OLD STAGE RD., 16900 block, 8 p.m. Sept. 5 to 10 p.m. Sept. 6. Musical instruments, CDs and a video game system were stolen from a car at a house.

ROBBERIES

EASY ST., 1200 block, 3 to 3:30 p.m. Sept. 5. Two men robbed a male pedestrian, 42, of cash.

JEFFERSON DAVIS HWY., 14500 block, 4:30 p.m. Sept. 3. Three men and a woman, one with a gun, forced a man, 48, into a vehicle outside a restaurant. They robbed him of his wallet before he fled.

POTOMAC MILLS CIR., 2700 block, 9:35 a.m. Sept. 7. A man grabbed a woman, 24, outside a bank and robbed her of a bag containing cash. A Reston man, 21, was arrested.

BAY VISTA DR., 14100 block, 5:45 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sept. 1. Stereo equipment was stolen from a pickup at a house. The vehicle was entered by forcing a window.

CHESEPEAKE DR., 3100 block, 12:10 to 12:20 a.m. Sept. 7. Two gunmen entered a house by kicking a door and struck a male, 53, in the face.

CREEKVIEW CIR., 12200 block, midnight Sept. 2 to 8:18 a.m. Sept. 3. Lug nuts were stolen from a car at a house.

DABNEY RD., 13700 block, 4 p.m. Sept. 3 to 5:30 a.m. Sept. 7. Cash was stolen from soda machines in a business entered by kicking a door.

FOX LAIR DR., 3000 block, 10:15 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 3. Jewelry and clothing were stolen from a house.

GALT CT., 16600 block, 11 p.m. Sept. 2 to 8 a.m. Sept. 3. Stereo equipment was stolen from a car at a house. The vehicle was entered through an open window.

HANCO CENTER DR., 2500 block, 8:30 to 9 p.m. Sept. 2. Four wheels were stolen from a car at a business.

JEFFERSON DAVIS HWY., 13900 block, 9 to 9:40 p.m. Sept. 5. A scooter was stolen from a business.

LONGWOOD MANOR CT., 13900 block, 8:30 a.m. Sept. 3 to 10:30 a.m. Sept. 7. A carpet cleaning machine was stolen from a shed at a house.

P.S. BUSINESS CENTER DR., 2800 block, 2 a.m. to noon Sept. 2. An attempt was made to enter a business by breaking a window.

SMOKETOWN RD., 14000 block, 7 p.m. Sept. 2 to 8 a.m. Sept. 3. An attempt was made to enter a concession stand at a high school by forcing a door.

BRUTON PARISH CIR., 8600 block, Sept. 8. A gunman robbed a pizza delivery woman, 40, of cash outside a house.

CENTREVILLE AND SUDLEY ROADS, 10 a.m. Sept. 4. Two men claiming to be security officers ordered a man out of his vehicle, searched him and robbed him of cash from his wallet.

WEST ST., 9400 block, 10:42 a.m. Sept. 4. Two men claiming to be security officers robbed a male pedestrian of cash from his wallet.

MANASSAS DR., 300 block, 4 a.m. Sept. 3 to 10:38 a.m. Sept. 6. A chain-link fence post was bent.
