Heavy rains postponed the weekend's high school football games to Monday and affected this week's games as well.

Last week's games scheduled for Friday and yesterday are now set for 7 p.m. tomorrow night, weather and field conditions permitting. In turn, this week's games initially set for Thursday have been bumped to Saturday.

In games tomorrow, Forest Park (1-0) is aiming to go 2-0 for the first time in school history when it plays at Stonewall Jackson (0-1). Hylton (1-0) will try for a 15th straight series win in a road game at Osbourn Park (0-1) in a matchup of Virginia AAA Northwestern Region Division 6 finalists of the past two seasons.

Also, Woodbridge (1-0) seeks its first 2-0 start since 1995; the Vikings host Osbourn (0-1). Potomac (0-1) plays at Gar-Field (1-0). Brentsville, which opened the season against the Battlefield junior varsity, will play its first varsity game, at Loudoun County school Heritage (1-1).

The following games are now scheduled for Saturday: Potomac at Forest Park, Gar-Field at Stonewall, Osbourn at Hylton and Woodbridge at Osbourn Park. All are 7 p.m. starts, except for the Potomac-Forest Park game, which will begin at 7:30 p.m.

The Brentsville-Manassas Park game is still scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Friday.
