DEFENSE HWY., 100 block, 6 p.m. Sept. 9 to 10:46 a.m. Sept. 10. A business was entered by forcing a front door. Nothing was reported missing.

HARBOR VIEW DR. E., 800 block, 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 8. Jewelry and other items were stolen from a residence.

CARRONADE WAY, 300 block, 5:30 a.m. Sept. 1 to midnight Sept. 6. Cash and computer equipment were stolen from a residence.

Brooklyn Park Area

PROSTITUTION

NEAR BALTIMORE CITY, Sept. 14. During a prostitution investigation, two women solicited undercover detectives and were arrested. A 28-year-old Joppa woman and a 27-year-old Baltimore woman were charged with prostitution. The Joppa woman was also charged with resisting arrest.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CENTRAL AVE. E., 1400 block, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 7. Firearms and computer equipment were stolen from a residence entered through a door.

KRAMME AVE., 5200 block, 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 9. Jewelry, a radio and video games and equipment were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a door.

MURRAY DR., 1100 block, 7:20 p.m. Sept. 7 to 7:15 a.m. Sept. 8. Tools were stolen from a residence entered through a front door. There was no sign of forced entry.

SEWARD AVE., 300 block, 9:24 a.m. Sept. 6. Lawn equipment was stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked front door.

SPRING AZURE CT., 3400 block, 4 p.m. Sept. 3 to 2:28 p.m. Sept. 6. An attempt was made to enter a residence.

VICTORY AVE., 900 block, 5 p.m. Sept. 4 to 7:30 p.m. Sept. 6. Property was stolen from a residence entered through a basement door.

WASENA AVE., 5500 block, 7 a.m. to 4:40 p.m. Sept. 9. Cash, tools and other items were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a rear door.

NOLPARK CT., 7900 block, 3:43 p.m. Sept. 6. A male wearing black and armed with a small handgun shot a man in the face as the man walked out of a second-floor apartment. A 28-year-old Baltimore man was taken to a hospital for treatment of an eye wound.

ROBBERIES

CRAIN HWY. S., 500 block, 12:59 p.m. Sept. 3. A male grabbed an employee around the neck in a gas station, put a large knife to his throat and forced him to open a cash register. The robber took cash, pushed the employee to the floor and fled on foot.

CRAIN HWY S., 900 block, 3:37 a.m. Sept. 8. Tobacco products were stolen from a residence entered by breaking a glass side door.

FAYWOOD AVE., 100 block, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 7. Cash was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a front window.

FURNACE BRANCH RD. W., 600 block, 6:30 p.m. Sept. 3 to 8 a.m. Sept. 7. Computer equipment and audio recordings were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked window.

HAROLD CT., 8100 block, 9 p.m. Sept. 8 to 8:20 a.m. Sept. 9. Auto parts were stolen from a residence entered by cutting a front-door lock.

PINE WAY DR., 400 block, 11:30 p.m. Sept. 5 to 7:45 a.m. Sept. 6. A bicycle, lawn equipment and other property were stolen from a residence entered by cutting a door lock.

RITCHIE HWY. S., 6700 block, 10 p.m. Sept. 5 to 10:46 a.m. Sept. 6. Cash was stolen from a business entered by forcing a rear door.

LAUREL FORT MEADE RD., 3400 block, 7:58 p.m. Sept. 15. A gunman robbed employees of a fast-food restaurant of cash.

OLD ANNAPOLIS RD., 3500 block, 12:05 a.m. Sept. 12. A male was leaning against his maroon 1996 Chevrolet talking to a female stranger when a male placed a knife to his throat and robbed him of his car and cash. The female left before police arrived. The victim suffered a small cut to his throat and was treated at the scene by paramedics.

JILL LANE, 200 block, 11:30 to 11:31 p.m. Sept. 7. An attempt was made to enter a residence.

ROBBERIES

MEADOW RD., Sept. 9. Three males posing as police forced their way into a home and searched a resident's bedroom before taking coins. No injuries were reported, and no weapons were shown.

HARLEM RD., 200 block, 1:30 p.m. Sept. 7. A residence was entered by smashing a window. Nothing was reported missing. A 26-year-old man was arrested.

MARBLE ARCH DR., 3400 block, 10:15 to 11:25 a.m. Sept. 9. Cash was stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked rear door.

MOUNTAIN RD., 300 block, 2:45 to 3:46 a.m. Sept. 7. Tobacco products were stolen from a business entered by breaking a front glass door.

NORTH SHORE RD., 1-100 block, 6 p.m. Sept. 11 to 11:11 a.m. Sept. 12. A business was entered by forcing a door. Nothing was reported missing.

ELM RD., 1-100 block, 7:30 p.m. Sept. 4 to 10 a.m. Sept. 6. A residence was entered through an unlocked window. Nothing was reported missing.

Severn Area

ASSAULTS

ANNAPOLIS RD., 1600 block, 1:37 a.m. Sept. 11. Police on patrol stopped to investigate a fight outside a bar and heard gunshots from behind a business next door. An officer who attempted to arrest a gunman was shot in the right forearm. The gunman escaped. The officer was treated at a hospital and released.

ROGERS AVE., 400 block, 9:38 p.m. Aug. 26 to 10 a.m. Sept. 10. A motorcycle was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a front door.

Severna Park Area

ST. ANDREWS RD., 1-100 block, 10:50 p.m. Sept. 8. Sporting equipment was stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked door. Two 17-year-old males were arrested.

Shady Side Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

SHADY SIDE RD., 6100 block, 3:45 a.m. Sept. 16. A laundry business was broken into and cash was removed. Police, observing occupants in a car a short time later, made a traffic stop and discovered evidence from the break-in. Three males, ages 22, 18 and 16, were charged with second-degree burglary, fourth-degree burglary, theft and destruction of property.

BOWMAN CT., 1800 block, 4:32 p.m. Sept. 11. A person was assaulted with a bottle by an acquaintance.

MAIN ST., 100 block, 1:37 a.m. Sept. 11. Four people were punched and kicked.

VANDALISM

ADMIRAL AND FOREST DRIVES, HILLTOP LANE, SPA ROAD AND WEST STREET, Sept. 15 to Sept. 16. Twenty-two bus shelters' glass enclosures were broken overnight, possibly by a firearm.

BAY RIDGE RD., 900 block, Sept. 10 to Sept. 11. A business was entered by forcing a door.

BUNCHE ST., 1-100 block, Sept. 9. Three pit bull puppies were stolen from a yard.

COMPROMISE ST., 1-100 block, Aug. 25 to Sept. 9. A soda machine was broken into, and coins were taken.

COPELAND ST., 1800 block, Sept. 14. Video games and equipment were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a screen.

FARRAGUT RD., 200 block, Sept. 14. Cash was stolen from a residence

HILLSMERE DR., 100 block, Sept. 11 to Sept. 13. A storage shed was broken into. Nothing was reported missing.

HILLTOP LANE, 200 block, Sept. 14. A cell phone was stolen from a residence entered through a front door.

JANWALL ST., 1-100 block, Sept. 13. Computer equipment was stolen from a residence entered by removing a rear window screen.

SCHOONER CT., 1800 block, Sept. 13. Video games and equipment were stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

WEST ST., 200 block, 1:39 a.m. Sept. 15. License plates were stolen from a vehicle.
