OLD GEORGETOWN RD., 10400 block, 1:23 p.m. Sept. 14. A male gave a note to a bank teller demanding cash and the teller complied.

16TH ST., 8600 block, 6:20 p.m. Sept. 7 to 7:15 a.m. Sept. 8. Cash, checks and money orders were stolen from a business.

DARNESTOWN ROAD AND SEURAT DRIVE, 2:45 p.m. Sept. 3. Two males blocked the path of a Potomac boy, 16, and robbed him of cash.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

MIDDLEBROOK RD., 12800 block, 8 p.m. Sept. 2 to 7 a.m. Sept. 3. Computers and monitors were stolen from a business entered by forcing open a door.

ROBINS NEST TER., 13000 block, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sept. 8. A DVD player and a video game system were stolen from a residence.

WELSH RD., 24500 block, 7:30 a.m. to 12:58 p.m. Sept. 2. Cash and jewelry were stolen from a residence entered by breaking a window.

ASSAULTS

WHETSONE DRIVE AND ANNAPOLIS WAY, 7:10 a.m. Sept. 9. A Gaithersburg boy, 12, was charged Sept. 9 with first-degree assault and possession of a deadly weapon in connection with an incident at the above location.

ROBBERIES

BROOKRIDGE CT., 9900 block, 11:25 p.m. Sept. 11. A male pushed a Montgomery Village woman, 27, against a fence and robbed her of a purse.

GREAT SENECA HIGHWAY, 2:20 p.m. Sept. 9. A male grabbed a boy, 13, and robbed him of his clothes and shoes at gunpoint. Then a second male robbed him of a cell phone. The robbers fled.

PHOEBE WAY, 18600 block, Sept. 13. A Cheverly man, 30, was charged Sept. 13 with third-degree burglary, malicious destruction of property, second-degree assault and outstanding traffic warrants in connection with an incident at the above location.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

GALLATIN CT., 19500 block, 7 a.m. Sept. 3 to 2:30 p.m. Sept. 9. Bicycles were stolen from a garage.

PONTIAC WAY, 1 to 100 block, 4:47 a.m. Sept. 7. A residence was entered. Nothing was reported missing.

QUINCE ORCHARD RD., 500 block, 10:44 p.m. Sept. 6 to 2:30 a.m. Sept. 7. Cash was stolen from a business.

DIAMOND AVENUE W. AND FLORAL DRIVE, 6:30 p.m. Sept. 6. A Gaithersburg boy, 14, was charged Sept. 6 with indecent exposure in connection with an incident at the above location.

THOMAS LEA TER., 8800 block, 1:05 a.m. Sept. 12. A man exposed himself to a Montgomery Village woman, then fled.

BOILING BROOK PKWY., 4700 block, Sept. 4. A Rockville man, 27, was charged with first-degree assault in connection with an incident at the above location.

ROBBERIES

FALLS CHAPEL WAY, 3:15 a.m. Sept. 6. A Potomac man, 18, was charged Sept. 16 with conspiracy to commit first-degree burglary and accessory after the fact of first-degree burglary in connection with an incident at the above location.

RIVER RD., 10100 block, 1:03 p.m. Sept. 14. A male in a bank implied he was armed with a gun, gave a note to a teller demanding cash, then left the bank empty-handed.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

DALEWOOD DR., 12600 block, 8:40 a.m. Aug. 30. A male passed an Arlington girl, 17, grabbed her buttocks, then fled.

SILVER SPRING AREA, 3 a.m. Sept. 6. A Silver Spring girl, 12, awoke when a man attempted to remove her clothing.

SILVER SPRING AREA, 7:30 a.m. Aug. 29. A Silver Spring woman, 38, was raped by a male acquaintance.

ROBBERIES

BEL PRE RD., 3900 block, 2:45 p.m. Sept. 6. Six males accosted a deliveryman, 21, and robbed him of a wallet at gunpoint.

BLAIR MILL RD., 1200 block, 7:30 p.m. Sept. 1. A male grabbed a Silver Spring man, 20, forced him to the ground and another male pulled out a knife and robbed the male of property from his pants.

COLUMBIA PIKE AND ROUTE 198, 4 p.m. Sept. 10. Three males robbed a Burtonsville resident, 17, of cash at the above location and additional cash at an ATM.

LUZERNE AVE., 2000 block, 6:40 p.m. Sept. 9. A male armed with a gun entered a residence, robbed a Silver Spring man, 55, of a wallet and car keys, tied up his hands and feet, then fled in the man's vehicle.

OLD COLUMBIA PIKE, 13800 block, 2:46 a.m. Sept. 11. A male robbed a store of cash at gunpoint.

AUTOMOBILE BLVD., 3100 block, Sept. 11 to Sept. 13. DVD players and a radio were stolen from a business.

BALLET WAY, 3900 block, 2:30 to 2:58 p.m. Sept. 2. A residence was entered by breaking a window. Nothing was reported missing.

A Silver Spring man, 25 and a woman, 19, of no fixed address, were charged Sept. 5 with first-degree burglary, trespassing, malicious destruction of property under $500.00 and conspiracy to commit burglary in connection with an incident at the above location.

JACKSON RD., 900 block, noon Sept. 10 to 10:45 a.m. Sept. 13. A school was entered by prying a frame of a door. Nothing was reported missing.

BEL PRE RD., 3700 block, 1:34 a.m. Sept. 4. A man was seen looking into a bedroom window.

Glenmont District

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

WHEATON AREA, 11:20 p.m. Sept. 6. A masked man entered a residence and attempted to rape a Wheaton woman, 23 who was asleep with her 2-year-old daughter. The woman broke free and locked herself and her daughter in a bathroom.

ROBBERIES

GEORGIA AVE., 11400 block, 11:45 p.m. Aug. 27. Four males at a bus stop accosted a Wheaton man, 26, and one of the males pulled out a knife and took his cash and a wallet. A second male robbed him of jewelry at gunpoint while the other two males stood nearby. Then the first male stabbed the man and all four males fled. The man was treated at a local hospital and released.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BARBARA RD., 12300 block, 1:01 a.m. Sept. 6 to 1:40 a.m. Sept. 7. A laptop computer and a cell phone were stolen from a residence.

EMERSON DR., 17000 block, 11:30 p.m. Sept. 5 to 10 a.m. Sept. 6. Construction equipment was stolen from a storage shed and cash was stolen from vehicles in a driveway.

JAMAICA DR., 10700 block, 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 4. Computer hard drives were stolen from a residence.

PARKER AVE., 2500 block, 9 a.m. to 8:31 p.m. Aug. 31. A duffle bag was stolen from a residence. It was later recovered.

SUNSET RIVER CT., 18000 block, 11 p.m. Aug. 31 to 2:30 a.m. Sept. 1. Cash, credit cards and a money clip were stolen from a residence.

TREADWAY RD., 19400 block, 9:30 p.m. Aug. 30 to 6:40 a.m. Aug. 31. A bicycle was stolen from a shed.

MANNAKEE ST., 1 to 100 block, 2 to 2:15 p.m. Sept. 7. A wallet was stolen from a desk.

MANNAKEE ST., 1 to 100 block, midnight June 1 to midnight Sept. 9. A laptop computer was stolen from an office.

MONTGOMERY AVE. E., 100 block, 11 p.m. Sept. 10 to 11 a.m. Sept. 11. Three games were stolen from a video machine at a business.

ROCKVILLE PIKE, 1500 block, 3 p.m. Sept. 11. A Silver Spring man, 35, was charged with theft in connection with an incident at the above location.

ROCKVILLE PIKE, 1700 block, 7:30 a.m. Sept. 9 to 10 a.m. Sept. 10. A digital camera, a cell phone and two computer memory cards were stolen from an untended bag.

WASHINGTON ST. N., 200 block, 2 p.m. Sept. 6 to 10 a.m. Sept. 7. A laptop computer was stolen from a business entered by forcing open a door.

VANDALISM

VEIRS MILL ROAD, 2000 block, 2:45 a.m. Sept. 12. A Rockville male was arrested and charged with destruction of property in connection with an incident at the above location.

ROBBERIES

LAUREL AVE., 6900 block, 10:49 a.m. Sept. 14. A gunman grabbed a money bag and a weapon from an armored car guard and fled in a vehicle with a second male. No injuries were reported.

NEW HAMPSHIRE AVE., 6900 block, 12:05 a.m. Sept. 12. A male implied he was armed with a weapon, demanded keys from an adult male motorist and ordered the motorist to get out of his vehicle. The robber then fled in the vehicle. The stolen vehicle was stopped in the District. An investigation was continuing.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

NEW HAMPSHIRE AVE., 7300 block, 9:30 a.m. Sept. 11 to 7:45 a.m. Sept. 12. Property was stolen from a shed entered by forcing a door.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

MAPLE AVE., 7600 block, 7 p.m. Sept. 9 to 12:20 p.m. Sept. 12. A 1995 Chevrolet Cavalier was stolen.
