THEFTS/BREAK-INS
CLUBHOUSE DR., Sept. 22. A chain saw, digital camera and computer were stolen from a residence.
H.G. TRUEMAN RD., 6:45 a.m. Sept. 19. Food and a case of beer were stolen from the Frying Pan restaurant.

ASSAULTS
INDIAN HEAD HWY., 7100 block, 1:45 p.m. Sept. 20. Two people stole hot dogs and two cartons of cigarettes from the Dash-In. While fleeing, they nearly struck an employee with their vehicle.
Indian Head Area
ASSAULTS
WOODLAND DR., 4:28 p.m. Sept. 19. A police officer was assaulted, and his uniform was damaged during a traffic stop. A man, 19, was charged with second-degree assault, making an improper turn, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, failure to obey a lawful order and destruction of property.
Waldorf Area
ASSAULTS
BANNISTER CIR., 11:49 a.m. Sept. 15. A woman, 34, was stabbed in the leg with a pen, and someone tried to suffocate her with a pillow. A man, 32, was charged with attempted second-degree murder, second-degree assault, false imprisonment, reckless endangerment and possession of a deadly weapon with intent to injure.

TAWNY DR., 2300 block, 1 to 11 a.m. Sept. 18. Two mountain bikes and tools were stolen from a shed at a residence.
St. Mary's County

HOLLYWOOD, 2:45 p.m. Sept. 9. A woman, 26, was assaulted at a residence. A man, 29, was charged with second-degree assault.
Leonardtown Area
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY
ROUTE 5, Sept. 17. A vehicle was driven on a football field at St. Mary's Ryken High School, damaging the turf.
Lexington Park Area
ASSAULTS
NATIONAL CIR., noon Sept. 17. A woman, 28, was assaulted at a residence. A man, 33, was charged with second-degree assault.
THEFTS/BREAK-INS
ELDERBERRY WAY, 8:45 p.m. Sept. 7 to 8:30 a.m. Sept. 8. A license plate was stolen from a vehicle at a residence.
LEXINGTON PARK, Sept. 20. A window frame and a screen at a residence were broken, and a purse was stolen. A man was charged with first-degree burglary, malicious destruction of property and theft of less than $500.
