Debra Curro of Riva, Pat Kelleher of Bel Air, Sandy Ogas of Arnold, Jean Mead of Hyattsville, Debbie Sears of Gambrills, Janice Young of Pasadena, Rose Collinson of Crownsville and Marie Edwards and Maggie O'Rourke of Glen Burnie recently received service awards from the Anne Arundel County Department of Health.

Curro, Kelleher and Ogas were given Nurse of the Year awards. Curro is a nurse at Central Special School, Kelleher is a nurse at Freetown and Glendale Elementary schools, and Ogas is a nurse at Severna Park High School.

Mead, Sears and Young received Health Assistant of the Year awards. Mead is a nurse at Manor View Elementary School, Sears is a health assistant at Central Middle School, and Young is a health assistant at Glen Burnie High School.

Collinson, Edwards and O'Rourke received Physically Disabled Student Aide of the Year awards. Collinson is a student aide at West Meade Elementary School, Edwards is a student aide at Marley Middle School, and O'Rourke is a student aide at Meade High School.
