BALTMORE ANNAPOLIS BLVD., 1600 block, noon Aug. 8 to 12:38 p.m. Sept. 17. Tools were stolen from a storage facility. There was no sign of forced entry.

PROSTITION

NEAR BALTIMORE CITY, Sept 17. Police arrested a 27-year-old Baltimore woman who reportedly solicited an undercover detective. On Sept. 23, a 36-year-old woman was arrested during an investigation. Both were charged with prostitution.

TANEY AVE., 500 block, 7 p.m. Sept. 17 to 1:30 p.m. Sept. 18. Lawn equipment and other property were stolen from a residence entered by breaking a side window.

11TH AVE. E., 200 block, 7:30 p.m. Sept. 17 to 2:50 a.m. Sept. 18. Audio recordings were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a rear window.

CENTRAL AVE. W., 1300 block, 8 a.m. Sept. 16. Tools, lawn equipment and other items were stolen from a business entered through a door.

ROBBERIES

MITCHELL'S CHANCE RD., 100 block, 9:59 p.m. Sept 16. As a female teenager approached her car in a parking lot, she saw a man inside it. He opened a door, showed a knife and demanded her keys, which she gave up. When he ordered her to get into the car, she ran into a nearby restaurant and called police. He drove away. Police attempted to stop the car, but he escaped. The vehicle was found unoccupied in Prince George's County.

CENTRAL AVE. W., 100 block, 12;40 a.m. Sept. 13. Tools, equipment and other items were stolen from a business entered by forcing a rear door.

DENTAL RD., 1-100 block, 1:33 to 1:37 a.m. Sept. 13. Cash and IDs were stolen from a residence entered by breaking a rear window.

HOLLY AVE., 900 block, Sept. 12 to Sept. 13. An attempt was made to enter a residence through a window.

HOPE CHAPEL RD., 500 block, 5 p.m. Sept. 14 to 12:12 a.m. Sept. 15. A residence was entered by breaking a basement window.

ROBBERIES

LAUREL FORT MEADE RD., 3400 block, 4:56 p.m. Sept. 22. A man showed a pocketknife to a 16-year-old employee at a retail business and demanded that she open a cash drawer. When she couldn't open the drawer without scanning merchandise, he handed her an item to scan, then placed the knife against her thigh and threatened her. When the drawer opened, the man took cash and walked away.

GATEWATER CT., 300 block, 3:50 p.m. Sept. 15 to 4:51 p.m. Sept. 16. Cash, jewelry and other items were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a front door.

GREEN BUD LANE, 8000 block, 1:45 to 6:20 p.m. Sept. 13. An attempt was made to enter a building through a front door.

HAROLD CT., 8100 block, 7:30 p.m. Sept. 11 to 1 p.m. Sept. 15. Antiques were stolen from a residence entered through a door.

HOSPITAL DR., 300 block, 12:01 to 8:56 a.m. Sept. 14. Cash was stolen from a business entered by force.

MOUNTAIN RD., 1-100 block, 12:18 a.m. Sept. 30. Police responding to an alarm saw three males running from a store and across a parking lot. The three were detained, and police discovered that the front glass door to the store was broken. Another male was found hiding behind a brick column near the store.

THOMAS RD., 1000 block, 1 to 6 a.m. Sept. 16. Lawn equipment was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a front door.

LAUREL FORT MEADE RD., 3400 block, 9:57 p.m. Sept. 18. A gunman wearing a piece of army clothing over his face robbed a customer in a fast-food restaurant of a wallet and a cell phone after employees refused give up cash from a cash register.

FORT SMALLWOOD RD., 8500 block, 9:22 p.m. Sept. 15. A man riding a bike was beaten and kicked after three males stopped him outside an elementary school and one asked for a cigarette. The man was robbed of cash and cigarettes, and the three males fled on foot.

FREETOWN RD., 7900 block, 8:40 p.m. Sept. 13. A gunman approached a man who was vacuuming his Suzuki Aerio at a carwash, forced him to lie on the ground and took his cash. The gunman then fled in the Suzuki with a male accomplice. The car was found in the lot at Arundel Mills Park.

MOUNTAIN RD., 4300 block, 1:17 to 2:44 a.m. Sept. 14. Cash was stolen from a business entered by forcing a side door.

MOUNTAIN RD., 4700 block, 5:06 p.m. Sept. 18. A business was entered through a rear door. Nothing was reported missing.

COLONY RD., 1500 block, 8 p.m. Sept. 13 to 2 p.m. Sept. 14. Equipment was stolen from a residence entered by force.

MARBLE ARCH DR., 3400 block, 7:30 a.m. to 6:14 p.m. Sept. 14. A radio and other items were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a basement door.

MILLWRIGHT CT., 600 block, 8:14 p.m. Sept. 13. Property was stolen from a residence entered through a front door. There was no sign of forced entry.

ROUTE 2, 100 block, 8:46 p.m. Sept. 17. A hair salon was robbed of cash at closing when two males entered and forced the store's occupants to lie on the floor in a rear area. No weapon was displayed, and both robbers, one wearing a bandanna and the other, a black ski mask, fled on foot.

BENFIELD RD., 500 block, 5 to 5:52 a.m. Sept. 13. Cash was stolen from a business entered by breaking a front glass door.

Shady Side Area

SHADY SIDE RD., 6100 block, 3:28 a.m. Sept. 16. A business was entered through the roof. Two men, 18 and 22, were arrested.
