Storyteller Dennis Dewey will teach and perform Bible stories at Crossroads United Methodist Church on Saturday and Sunday. From 9 a.m. to noon Saturday there will be a workshop on the stories of the Scriptures. Continental breakfast and child care are included. From 7 to 8:30 p.m., Dewey will perform stories from the Old and New Testaments; child care will be available for infants through 4-year-olds, and a reception will follow the performance.

The Unitarian Universalist Church of Sterling will hold a "Soul Work Part 2" class from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday to consider how Unitarian Universalism explains and practices diversity.
On Sunday, the church will celebrate Jubilee Sunday at the 10:30 a.m. service. Guest preacher the Rev. John Morehouse will discuss "Why Should We Blow Our Spiritual Winds About the World?" and "What of UU Is in It for You?"
