JERMANTOWN RD., 3200 block, 6 p.m. Sept. 25. Police were called about a man with a video camera in the men's locker room of a recreation center. An investigation revealed that the man was secretly videotaping juveniles. A 43-year-old Burke area man was charged with production of child pornography.

CENTERVIEW DR., 3900 block. Cash was stolen from a business.

ROBBERIES

HECHINGER DR., 6900 block, 1:30 p.m. Sept. 22. A man snatched a purse from a woman while she was attempting to wire cash to Honduras. He took cash and threw her purse back at her, then fled with a female.

MARIN WOODS CT., 7600 block, 9:45 p.m. Sept. 27. A man with a handgun robbed a 17-year-old male of his cell phone and wallet, then struck him on the side of his face with the gun. After a brief struggle, the man fled on foot.

ASSAULTS

CULMORE CT., 3300 block, 5:35 a.m. Sept. 24. Two men chased and assaulted a 46-year-old man, who was hit on the head with an object and punched. The men accused the man of throwing a beer bottle through a window of an apartment in which they were sleeping. The injured man was taken to a hospital with two head cuts. Two Baileys Crossroads area men, ages 20 and 23, were charged with malicious wounding.

LITTLE RIVER TPK., 6200 block, 12:30 a.m. Sept. 24. A man stabbed a 35-year-old man in the leg with a broken ashtray during an argument at a restaurant. A 44-year-old Annandale area man was charged with malicious wounding.

LITTLE RIVER TPK., 6200 block, 6:45 p.m. Sept. 29. A gunman grabbed cash from a clerk in a grocery store, then pointed the gun at another clerk and took cash from a cash register. He then fled with another man.

LEE HIGHWAY AND REBEL RUN, 2:30 p.m. Sept. 23. A car stopped alongside three students standing on a sidewalk and several males got out and began asking questions. One male then punched a student in the face, knocking him down. The other males assaulted the other two students and took a wallet, a CD player and a football jersey.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CHAIN BRIDGE RD., 3500 block, 4 to 4:30 p.m. Sept. 20. A cell phone was stolen from a motel.

LEE HWY., 9600 block, Sept. 3. A male, claiming to be with the fire department, asked to use a phone in a dry cleaning business. After the male used the phone and left, the business's owner discovered that the business was charged more than $200 for the call.

LEE HWY., 10500 block, 4:04 a.m. Sept. 26. A male spoke with a clerk at a pharmacy, then grabbed a 24-pack of beer and ran from the store.

LEE HWY., 10700 block, 1 p.m. Sept. 13. A male accidentally left his laptop computer in a business, and it was gone when he returned an hour later.

MAIN ST., 9500 block, 12:30 p.m. Sept. 26. A man dressed in a security officer uniform asked a man for his documents. The man pulled out his wallet, and the impersonator took his ATM card and asked for and obtained the PIN information. He then went to a nearby ATM and removed cash from the victim's account, then returned the card to the victim and left.

MAIN ST., 11100 block, 4:45 p.m. Sept. 22. A wallet was stolen from a purse in an office.

MAPLE ST., 10800 block, Sept. 21 to Sept. 22. Items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in front of a residence.

WASHINGTON ST. S., 200 block, 6:50 p.m. Sept. 22. A male stole 20 ADC street maps from a convenience store.

ELLISON ST., 900 block, 6:15 to 6:41 p.m. Sept. 23. A window of a vehicle was broken.

MAPLE AVE. S., 200 block, 3:20 p.m. Sept. 22. Graffiti was spray-painted on a basketball court.

SEATON LANE, 1200 and 1300 blocks, 2:25 a.m. Sept. 24. Police were called about a vehicle that had flipped over and damaged a tree and a stone wall. The driver of the vehicle fled before police arrived.

PALMER DR., 700 block, 5:36 p.m. Sept. 22. A mountain bicycle was stolen from a residence.

CEDAR LANE SE, 200 block, 2:14 a.m. Sept. 25 to 5:14 a.m. Sept. 26. A motorcycle parked at an apartment building was pushed over and damaged.

CHERRY ST. SW, 200 block, 10:05 a.m. Sept. 27. A vehicle at a residence was scratched.

DOGWOOD ST. SW, 100 block, 1:30 to 8:30 a.m. Sept. 25. Tires of a car at a residence were slashed.
