THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BARSTOW, 7:52 p.m. Sept. 22. A radio and an amplifier were stolen from a vehicle at Rawlings Towing.

Chesapeake Beach Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CHAVEZ LANE, Sept. 23. A generator and an air compressor were stolen from a garage.

VEHICLE THEFTS

ROUTES 260 AND 261, 6:18 p.m. Sept. 22. A woman was pushed to the ground and her keys and vehicle taken. A man, 47, was charged with motor vehicle theft, driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license.

Dunkirk Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

EDINBURGH LANE, Sept. 28. A Craftsman generator and a Troy-Bilt pressure washer were stolen from two residences.

LEXINGTON DR., Sept. 12. A mailbox was stolen from a residence.

SOUTHERN MARYLAND BLVD., 5:15 p.m. Sept. 15. A brown and tan female Chihuahua was stolen from Pet Stop.

Lusby Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ELK RD., Sept. 23. A 25-inch Phillips flat-screen television was stolen from a residence.

EL SEGUNDA LANE, 10:14 p.m. Sept. 19. A skateboard was stolen from a residence.

STEER HORN LANE, 10 a.m. Sept. 25. License plates were stolen from a vehicle parked at a residence. The vehicle also was scratched and sprayed with an unknown liquid, a tire was flattened, and a potato was put into the tailpipe.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY

BEACH CT., 9:15 a.m. Sept. 25. A mailbox and newspaper delivery box were destroyed.

Prince Frederick Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

MACS HOLLOW RD., 3:30 p.m. Sept. 29. A cell phone was stolen.

ROUTE 2/4, 12:30 p.m. Sept. 22. Speakers and CDs were stolen from a vehicle parked outside Mr. Tire.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

DONCASTER DR., 4000 block, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sept. 20. Cash was stolen from a residence.

ROUTE 210, 4 p.m. Oct. 4. During a traffic accident, police discovered a stolen license plate on a man's vehicle. The man, 31, was charged with theft.

Marbury Area

BICKNELL RD., 4900 block, midnight Sept. 9 to 8:30 a.m. Sept. 23. Items were stolen from a residence.

Waldorf Area

HOME INVASION

ORLEANS CIR., 4700 block, 5:41 a.m. Oct. 2. Two robbers armed with guns forced a man to enter his residence and unlock a garage. A woman inside the residence closed a door to block their entrance. The robbers fired shots into the garage and fled.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

AUDREY MANOR CT., 2200 block, 6 p.m. Sept. 27 to 6:30 a.m. Sept. 28. A dishwasher, cook-top stove and a wall oven were stolen from a home under construction.

POST OFFICE RD. AT BARRINGTON DR., 7:30 p.m. Sept. 27. A stolen license plate was on a vehicle. A man, 33, was charged with theft.

SMALLWOOD DR., 300 block, 1:30 p.m. Sept. 30. A man, 28, is accused of attempting to flee in a stolen vehicle during a traffic stop, almost striking a police officer. He was charged with several attempts to elude police, first-degree assault, making a false statement to a police officer, unlawful taking of a motor vehicle, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, theft over $500, and speeding and reckless driving.

White Plains Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

GRAPHICS DR., 4500 block, 2 p.m. Oct. 3 to 8 a.m. Oct. 4. Copper piping, pipe wrenches, band saws and reciprocating saws were stolen from C.V. Carlson Co. Inc.

St. Mary's County

SEXUAL OFFENSE

BUSHWOOD, Oct. 3. A woman was sexually assaulted and held her against her will. A man, 37, was charged with second-degree rape.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

THREE NOTCH RD., 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 5. A rear license plate was stolen from a vehicle in the Kmart parking lot.

Great Mills Area

ASSAULTS

CORONADO DR, 10 a.m. Oct. 2. A woman, 40, was assaulted at a residence. A man, 36, was charged with second-degree assault.

GREAT MILLS. Two boys, 16 and 17, assaulted each other at WaWa. They were charged with second-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

STONEY RUN CT., 7 a.m. Sept. 20 to 10 p.m. Sept. 28. Two guns were stolen from a residence.

ANNE CT., 9 p.m. Sept. 25 to 9 a.m. Sept. 26. A rear license plate was stolen from a vehicle.

LEONARDTOWN, 1:20 p.m. Sept. 30. A man, 48, reported that an unknown number of checks were stolen from his checkbook. He discovered the checks were missing when his monthly bank statement arrived.

Lexington Park Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

LEXINGTON PARK, Oct. 3. Two women stole money from the Lowes Cineplex, where they were employed. They were charged with theft over $500.

Mechanicsville Area

ASSAULTS

THOMPSON CORNER RD., 9:18 p.m. Oct. 4. A man, 30, was assaulted at a lumberyard. He received facial injuries and was transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.
